Adrian loved food. He was a teenage boy, so it was a given. On this particular Saturday afternoon, it was only a few hours since lunch, and still several more until dinner. But, he was hungry. With no classes to worry about, the Gryffindor boy started the long journey down six flights of stairs to beg the House elves for some left overs.
He didn't need to beg, obviously. When he showed up at the kitchens, the friendly little creatures were more then happy to pack up a hearty amount of food for him. While he waited, he of course downed a couple rolls he found, as well as several slices of ham. They made no comment to his bottomless pit of a stomach, as they'd grown used to his behavior. His being a werewolf was a well kept secret. Only his best friend and Lily (obviously...) knew, and neither would tell. The house elves though... He figured they either knew or guessed. They knew everything at Hogwarts, after all. Some students were insanely good snoops and know-it-alls, one in particular coming to mind immediately, but even she had nothing on these creatures.
Parcel of food in hand, he bid the creatures adieu, and was on his way. Half way down the hall though, He stopped. There, between him and the stairs out of the basement, was the girl he'd thought about only a few moments ago. Adalyn Rousseau. Stuck up pureblood with a nasty habit of sticking her nose where it didn't belong. Adrian hated her. He snarled at the sight of her dark hair and small frame. "Rousseau." He sharply stated. Not as a greeting, but more as a "You're in the way, move".
He really needed to learn how to be more polite.

As full as Adalyn was, she was craving for something a little better as she wasn't satisfied with what the house elves gave her, she thought the food tasted weird as some of the elves promised they didn't touch, but others did not and she felt that they needed a piece of her mind, as she was not amused by their lack of respect for Slytherins. As she made her way down to the kitchen, her small frame stiffened at her last name, her head turning to face a male who rudely told her to move, her eyes rolled as she spoke, "How charming of your stupidity to tell me to move." She snorted as she pushed past him, her lips moving as she spoke once more, "How about you move your werewolf furry butt away?" She sneered at him as she made her way towards the house elves. | | @adrian

Adrian had never liked Adalyn. Ever since she arrived during his third year. She couldn't keep her nose out of other people's businesses. He snarled as she turned. "You know, talking doesn't suit you. You lower the IQ of everyone in the school every time you do." He shot back with poison and spite in his voice. There were people he didn't like, and then there were people he hated The Rousseau girls, all three of them, fell into the later category. The oldest because she just gave him the creeps. Adalyn because she didn't know when to shut up and mind her own business. And the youngest because she was just such a perfect princess. Each of them rubbed him the wrong way.
He raised an eyebrow when she called him a werewolf. There was no way she knew, only RJ and Lily knew he'd inherited the trait from his missing in action father. She had to just be intimidating him. If she actually knew.... This wouldn't be the first time she'd be using it against him. None the less, he bared his teeth, reaching out to try and grab her arm as she moved passed him. "Werewolves have teeth. I suggest remembering that, Rousseau."
