-this thread takes place after elaine kills ethan-
Elaine had just left Ethans little friend group behind with one of the masked figures carrying Ethans body for her. The stepped out into the stairwell and Elaine's smile brightened. This would be the perfect spot, now wouldn't it? Elaine turned to the man holding Ethan, "get his robes off," she said. Once that was done, she continued her little plan.... Soon, Ethan was hanging above the stairwells. She didn't suspend him with magic. No, he was a muggle and therefore should be treated like one. Some rope tying did the trick, and he hung by his neck high in the dome, but low enough that people could see what she had done. On his shirt, written in blood, was a sweet little love note to a certain @superluigi64 . It read, 'You're always one step behind. Nice work protecting the muggle.'Her loud laugh echoed through the stairs as she admired her handi-work. The man stepped forward, "we don't have much time. They've contacted the order. We have to go," he said. She blew dear Ethan a sweet little kiss before turning on her heel, running up the next set of stairs and following the man to the tower where they were supposed to make their escape. Many people were up there, people who were masked and students being taken. Elaine was confused by some of the faces she saw there, but she didn't take much time to register. She smiled brightly at @desirae and @braelynn , who were being lifted onto a large creature not too far from her. She turned toward her masked partner, who directed her to a broom where someone was waiting. "You'll fly with this one, it'll give you some insurance. They won't shoot you down with LLoyd on your broomstick." Elaine agreed with a silent nod, stepping forward to wrap her arms around the unconscious Hufflepuff. She wasn't fond of him, but she knew that having him with her would protect her. It's too bad James wasn't taken. That would have been much more fun. Soon, people where taking off... and that was when more screaming started. A figure had appeared in the sky beside them, and he flew like... well, he flew like a hawk in pursuit. She glared, "Harry Potter," she growled, finally kicking off the ground. @crystal7

The north-west tower. Harry ran as fast as he could his brain whirring the entire way. The tower was the safest way for the attackers to get off of the grounds with the students they kidnapped. How was he supposed to catch them, or even keep up with them.
He stopped dead in his tracks. On his left a door was hanging off of it's hinges, and inside was a bunch of brooms. He ripped the door open and started digging through the old cleansweeps and silver stars. At the back of the closet he found a glorious sight. A Nimbus 2000. His heart swelled as he thought of his first broom stick. This one was old, but that broom was always a good one. He grabbed the broom and jumped on it. He hovered just a foot off of the ground, but it was plenty of space. He took off through the corridors.
The tower had a spiral staircase around the side, but at the top of the tower... something was up there. Harry pushed his broom and a burst of speed got him to the to pof the tower in moments.
A student was hanging from the rafters. A note written in blood on his shirt addressed to Neville.
Harry's vision narrowed, only taking in the student, the mind that would do something like this. And that was it.
A roar resonated in his chest as it ripped free from his throat. His wand was out in a moment and he directed the broom to one of the windows. He burst through the glass, it showering around him, sparkling in the moon light as he sped after the figures who were just taking off from the roof.
Brooms and animals filled the air in front of him. Some had two people on them. those would be ones with students. So he shot off several destructive spells in quick succession, 4 riders fell to the ground.
Heads turned around, but one head spoke his name. His eyes narrowed and his broom let out a burst of speed as he shot toward the dark haired girl.

Being a bat, Percival wasn’t much of a talker. But he was the bat equivalent of what humans might consider out of sorts.
See, he had been lounging about, eating a nice lemon, and just basically enjoying his day. And then people had shown up, and there were explosions and screaming and lots of unnecessary sounds.
But Percival was a smart bat, well-trained and loyal, and his master was the paranoid type. So, after determining that this was indeed not normal everyday school explosions, Percival had resignedly taken flight.
He’d gone down to the greenhouses and grabbed a bunch of small, tied bags left there for him in case of emergency. And with two in his mouth and one in each claw, the megabat had taken back off.
Then it had been a rather boring wait to see what was going on below, but finally, people appeared, people with students. He recognized some by sight, but most by uniform. Percival, gliding soundlessly high in the sky, went unnoticed by the intruders.
They had bigger problems, problems in the form of a man his master respected and often communicated with.
But Percival had his own job to do. While the master’s friend kept their attention occupied, the bat swooped low and dropped one of the little bags it was carrying. It hit a student and immediately seemed to dissolve into their robes. Percival rose back up, watching carefully to see if he had been noticed, but there were no reactions to his presence.
Again he descended and dropped a bag onto a student, only to rise back up. The bat tumbled in midair, spitting out the bags in his mouth and catching them, then descended one more time, dropping the bags on two more students. He didn’t seem to be noticed—the humans were too busy shooting colorful lights at one another.
Then, satisfied that his work was done, Percival rose back up and circled the sky, watching to see when his master would emerge, or one of his master’s children, just in case they might need him.

Well, well, well. Potter wanted to play too, eh? It was quite inconvenient having Zander on her broomstick. The security of it was worth it, however, even if it made combat flying a little difficult. He was speeding toward her now which made her heart stop for a moment. Did he know who she was? Or had he simply heard her say his name? Either way, she knew that he wouldn't actually hurt her with an unconcious person on her broom. Still, she was ready to have a little playful banter.
"Awe, Mr. Potter. Nice of you too join us! Sadly I'm bring kidnapped right now so I can't really chat!" she sped away from him, following the group, even though she knew that he would be able to catch up. He was Harry Potter, after all.
One of the many masked men zoomed in between she and Harry, lifting his wand toward him. "Crucio!" the man shouted, shooting his spell at the Potter.
Meanwhile Elaine was raising an eyebrow at a strange giant bat that was flying over head. That thing was freaky.

Being kidnapped. Harry bristled. This girl had some nerve, if nothing else. She sped forward, taking her captive with her. How did Harry know she was in charge of this group? Well if he hadn't known for sure before, when the goon cut off his pursuit from her, he knew then. The man shot the cruciatus curse at him, Harry did a barrel roll and it shot over his head. He hadn't flown like this in a long time, but apprently he remembered everything, thankfully. A quick disarming spell followed by a stunning curse took the goon out of the game quickly and cleanly.
Harry flew high above the people, pushing his broom up at a steep angle. When he reached an appropriate altitude, he angled his broom down, and shot though the air at a terrifying speed. His aim was impeccable, thanks to hours of practice on targets and years of experience. Four single riders were taken out of the game before he pulled his broom up next to Elaine.
"Unfortunately for you, my job is to hunt down people just like you, and I have had years of practice. " He smirked. His broom was guided sharply toward hers and he rammed into her. He couldn't shoot a spell at her for fear she would use her captive as a shield. He pulled his broom away and rammed into her once more, jarring both riders. He reached over to grab her wand, without that he could take her out.

Elaine would have liked to pretend she wasn't intimidated but you try being chased in the sky by Harry Effing Potter and see how that goes for you.
"Awe, did someone give me away, Potter? Who told you?" she asked laughing until his broom was suddenly ramming into hers. She was smart, though, and knew how to use things to her advantage. He rammed into her another time and she struggled to hold on. As he reached for her wand, Elaine let him take it. It wasn't hers, anyway. That one was Ethans.
"I was hoping to keep that as a prize but," she reached forward into Zanders robes and pulled out his own wand. In a split second she was shoving Zander off the broom before catching him with a spell and floating him in the air beside her. "Touch me again and the boy dies," she wasn't just going to drop him, oh no, that was far too easy for Harry to fix.
She nonverbally cast a spell of her own design. Well, an adapted version of Sectumsepra. Zanders skin slowly started splitting open in various places, blood slowly starting to escape. She wouldn't spill too much, however, because that blood was pure after all. "You can knock me off this broom, Potter, but I promise you won't be able to stop the bleeding. This spell is special. You can thank Severus Snape for the inspiration," she glared at him, waiting for his response.

How ironic, Harry thought bitterly. She had modified Snape's spell, into something even more horrific than it was. He recognized the base spell. Sectumsepra. The first time he had used that spell was in his 6th year at Hogwarts. Since then he had used it on certain occasions. But he knew the effects of that spell well. When this girl told him he wouldn't be able to stop the bleeding, unfortunately he believed her.
His hands were tied. He couldn't attack her for fear of killing the student. Grinding his teeth, glaring at her, he whipped his broom around. At the very least he could get rid of all the back up, maybe save a student or two? That was probably wishful thinking. But he was thinking it.
Using both wands he began shooting off stunning spells to any single rider. As soon as they realized they were under attack there were spells shooting back at him, and they were a lot less friendly than stunning spells. He put a shield up with a wave of his wand but continued to dodge the onslaught of attacks flying toward him. He flipped his broom up as a blasting curse rocketed toward him. The curse missed his shield and continued past him, right into Elaine.
Eyes on the student, Harry raced back toward her.

Finally, Harry turned his broom and moved away from her. She brought Zander back to her and placed him back on the broom, She smirked proudly until she saw what he was doing. She honestly had never seen anything like it. Suddenly, a blast was flying toward her and she swerved, but she was never a very good fighter. Suddenly, a bright streak of pain shot across her face. White hot searing pain. She screamed, but held onto her broom tightly, her arms wrapped around Zander. She growled and turned back, shooting a blast at Harry Potter who was flying straight toward her. ”You’re an excellent flyer, Potter,” she said with a harsh tone, laced with pain, ”I hope you’re happy,” she growled, and then she lifted her hand to scratch Zander across the face with her nails. ”Stay away from me, Potter, or I swear to whatever Gods you believe in that I will kill every single one of these students being tak-" Elaine stopped mid sentence as a cacophony of screams rose up from the ground below them. She looked down and couldn't believe her eyes. Insane plants had sprung up out of the ground at incredibly velocity and quantity. People were down there being ripped apart it seemed. There was only one person who could have done that. A wicked smile spread across her face. "Well. Guess you better save your friend," she said. She gave Harry one last little bow before aiming her wand below. Suddenly, a mass of flames erupted from her wands until the made contact with the plants. Instantly the plants started burning rapidly and even more screams could be heard. Neville was no doubt inside the now burning forest... @crystal7 (might want to join neville here to save him Feel free to post a reaction here if you want or just move onto the next thread!)

Harry's broom swung around as he pulled it toward the sound of the screams on the ground. He felt a small twinge of relief as he saw the plants springing out of the ground. Neville had made it outside.
His relief was short lived as Elaine turned the situation around by shooting fire down on the plants creating a huge fire that sprang from one plant to the other. His gaze was like daggers toward the girl on the broom. Though honestly, there wasn't anything else he could do with a good conscience. He couldn't let her kill the students, and he believed that she would kill each of them. So he did the only other thing he could think of. Exactly what she said to do. He pointed his broom down toward the earth and shot toward the screaming teachers and students on the ground.
