Elaine wasn't entirely thrilled about having to be unconscious before the masked men would take her to their hiding place. After they had escaped Hogwarts, Elaine was switched to a different broom, as was Zander, and all the 'kidnappees' including herself, were rendered unconscious for the remainder of the flight. She didn't even know what country they were in when she finally came to her senses. The Purifier kidnapees had been separated from the others and were now all waking up in a room of couches where they had been placed. Elaine blinked her eyes open and swatted her hands at the person prodding her. She reached for her wand but, it was gone. It seemed they had taken their wands, for now. Elaine opened her eyes fully to see a few masked men waking up the others. Elaine sat up and adjusted herself, straightening her clothes and hair and dying for a mirror. One of the masked men spoke to the room, "he's almost ready for you. Come on." Elaine stood and glanced around the room, raising an eyebrow at those who had come. It seemed some of their members were left behind, the younger ones for the most part. Good. That meant Elaine and her contact would be able to keep some things going in Hogwarts. But now all she could think about was the excitement bubbling in her stomach. She was finally going to meet him. The one who had made all of this year possible. @alucard @theodorus @desirae @nefertiti @braelynn @the big bad

One thing about wizards—the more Pureblood supremacist they were, the less they knew or understood about Muggle techniques. And what you don’t know can most certainly hurt you.
Theo had been wide awake for ten minutes now, slowly and silently working at the ropes that bound his arms. They hadn’t even bothered to tie them behind his back. So he’d carefully, quietly loosened them, shifting and stretching and flexing when he could feel that nobody was watching him. He trusted to his predator instincts to freeze himself before his prey was alerted. He was free enough, now, to get an arm loose, but he couldn’t go yet. He was waiting for the right moment. Eyes flickered left and right, noting what he could of the two guards on either side of him. Both were right-handed—he could tell from the way one stood that his wand was up his sleeve. There was a silver dagger at the waist of the other one.
Oh look, the sadist was awake. And for once, he sounded unhappy with Elaine. Theo put the pieces together as well. So this was her plan, was it? So, he was likely not in danger then. But that didn’t really change things, now did it? He was here, against his will, and he was not happy about it. And he fully intended to make his displeasure known. A grin crossed his face as the sadist’s words caught the attention of those in the room—including his guards.
Like lightning, Theo’s arm slipped free of the ropes and both hands lashed out to his sides. His right hand tore the wand free of that guard’s sleeve, while his left hand took the knife from the other guard. Theo surged to his feet and slammed the knife home into the first guard’s throat, even as he spun back toward the second guard, dodging his attempt to point his wand and simultaneously putting his body between Theo and the rest of the room. He grabbed, twisted—there was a sickening crack and the masked figure cried out in pain for just an instant before Theo silenced him with a wave of his wand. The second wand clattered to the floor in the suddenly silence, as Theo maneuvered his human shield into position, eyes roving the room, picking out numbers, combat capability, and threat levels. “Whatever else you are, sadist, you’re quite good at getting attention.”
A flick of the stolen wand cut the bonds from Alucard’s arms free, and a kick of the foot sent the other wand rolling to his feet. Not that Theo trusted him enough to ever turn his back on the sadist, but as long as neither of them were happy about being here, they were reluctant allies. “Now,” Theo said, casually flicking the wand twice; green jets slammed into two more masked figures, and they crumpled, dead, to the floor. Theo wasn’t grinning anymore: he was scowling, eyes narrowed slightly, and he was very clearly not amused or interested in his current predicament. It wasn’t fun here. And if it wasn’t fun, it wasn’t worth his time.
Theo had been a brawler first his entire life, and that was all the Purifiers had ever seen of him. For the first time, they were seeing what had been trained into him since before he was allowed a wand: the assassin. “How many of you do I have to kill before one of you is smart enough to return my wands and show me the way out?”

The commotion Theo and Alucard were causing was enough to wake Braelynn. Laying on a couch next to her sister, Desirae, she let out a groan, shifting just a little. She felt terrible. It took a moment for her to recall everything that had happened, and when she did? She wished she wasn't waking. She wanted tot go back to that dark abyss of unconsciousness and never come out. Zander.... Was he safe? Did they hurt him? Was he awake? What... What did he think of her? He knew... He knew that she was on the side that had caused all this, and that look of betrayal had crushed her. The girl felt broken.
Slowly, she opened her eyes, an almost empty look in her eyes as she took in the scene before her. She'd woken just in time to see Theo kill two of the men. There was no reaction from her, much to her own surprise. She just felt.... empty. Couldn't even muster a reaction. Sitting up, she kept her gaze downcast so her hair fell into her face, hiding those tear stained cheeks from the others.
Not a single word from her...

Desi sat straight up as she heard shouting and a snapping sound. She groaned, "Gods, Theo can't you wait like twenty seconds before tossing people around like rag dolls?" she yawned. Usually Desi would have laughed and made some comment about his muscles, but she was not the happiest camper when she just woke up. She took in the room around her, until her eyes fell on her sister beside her. She reached over, smiling, and placed a hand on her sisters shoulder.
She left her hand there as she turned back toward the rest of the group. "Now did anyone even bother finding out why we're here before we went around crushing skulls?" her eyes landed on one of the masked men as she stood, removing her hand from Bay to walk slowly towards him.
She gave him her best pout, "is the mask really necessary, mister?" see cooed. Hoping the boys would give her a minute to get some information before everyone was dead.

True to their characters, Alucard was spouting poetry, Theo was killing people (which was actually pretty awesome, she'd never seen him do that stuff before) and Desi was attempting to flirt her way through this. Elaine caught sight of the seemingly faceless Braelynn and cocked her head to the side a little. The girl was usually quiet in meetings but she was a one hell of a fighter, it was odd of her to just be resigned to this kidnapped stuff. Elaine sighed, rolling her shoulders and waiting it out a moment before standing. "Guys," she started, holding her hands up, "I know this is freaky. And I'm not happy about my wand being taken either. But these people aren't going to hurt us," a part of her didn't actually know if that was true. Her contact could have been using her this whole time... but she didn't dwell on that thought. "I asked for help to get us out of the castle. It seems this is how they decided to do it... A little dramatic if you ask me but," she shrugged. "I haven't been completely honest with you all. Someones been... helping me," guiding her more like it, "and it's time for us to meet him." She explained before glancing at the man who had originally spoken and raising an eyebrow. He nodded, and gestured for them to follow him through a large red curtain, into the next room... It was a large office room, not unlike a study, kept meticulously clean as if the room simply didn't belong with the rest of the house. The room was dimly lit by only a few candles toward its entrance. Thick red curtains covered the windows, removing any hope of outside light or thought of what world there was beyond them. Numerous chairs were set in a semi-circle around a large wooden desk of ebony. This desk, however marked where all clarity of sight ended. Beyond even its edge, only the outline of a tall-backed chair and the mere imagination of an ominous figure within said chair. @alucard @theodorus @desirae @nefertiti @braelynn @ambrosia @nikolaj @the big bad

@crystal2 && @theodorus && @braelynn && @desirae && @ambrosia nik watched from his spot against the wall, his hands behind his head and his legs stretched out before him. he'd been awake longer than most of them and figured that he'd wait it out and see what happened. it didn't bother him that they had taken his wand. he didn't need it anyway. he had been fluent in magic without using his wand or words for a few years now and was actually quicker with his spells and casts. which made for an interesting battle when someone thought you were unarmed. he watched almost amused as two of the people who had been brought into the room threw a tantrum and it was all he could do to stop himself rolling his eyes. "well don't you both have a flair for the dramatic" he said to theo and alucard as he moved to stand up from his spot and walk out of the shadows to where everyone else was. they had all been brought in the same way, though it seemed some weren't happy about it. he looked up as elain entered the room again and he stepped toward her, listening and glancing to where she wanted them to follow. well he would trust her, though it seemed others didn't want to. he glanced to one of the tantrum throwers as he voiced his dislike of what was happening. "This had better be worth it." nik almost smirked as he folded his arms over his chest lightly, though holding one hand out to the kid as if bargaining with him. "well how's this. if it's not worth your while and it makes you miserable. i'll put you out of your misery. simple" he spoke as he glanced back to elaine.

Desirae’s complaint fell on deaf ears. Theo was, quite simply, not in the mood to laugh and play. And for once, he and Alucard were actually thinking the same thing, for the same reasons. That was proof that the situation was ludicrous to the point of stupidity. “I don’t care why we’re here, Secrets. I am here against my will, and that’s all that matters to me.” He wasn’t interested in their reasons, nor Elaine’s—the very fact that she wasn’t glowering at everyone meant she was complicit in this mess.
Speaking of…
Theo listened to Elaine’s words, eyes narrowing dangerously as she spoke. With Alucard to his back (and wasn’t that all kinds of weird), they listened to her explain what was going on. The sadist was disbelieving. Theo wished he could say the same, but he’d known Elaine wasn’t alone. She didn’t have the resources to control what was happening outside Hogwarts throughout all of this. He suspected she had a partner—but learning she wore a leash was surprising. “I am aware these mutts won’t hurt me. They lack the numbers to succeed if they try again. And if I wanted to leave the castle, I would have.” He let Alucard follow Elaine, while he summoned the wands of the others he’d killed. Handing one to Desirae and one to her sister on the couch, he paused for a moment, then turned and Disarmed another masked figure. With a wand in each hand, Theo felt even better about the current situation.
Nikolaj Lestrange. Theo wanted to be surprised, he really did. For the first time since the initial attack, Theo’s grin came back. He laughed loudly as he entered the office, stepping straight up to Nikolaj. “To think, in one year, you’ve gone from my future brother-in-law to someone who makes threats as empty as his father’s. Very well. I’ll tell you what I told him when he tried to threaten me: you saw me grow up. If you think you can take me, you’re welcome to try.”
He turned away from Nikolaj then to look at their….gracious…host. Obscured in the shadows behind a desk. Theo was entirely unimpressed by the dramatic atmosphere. He raised his wand and the tip lit up like a miniature sun, bathing the entire room in light—save where Elaine’s leash holder sat, still obscured in shadows. Theo sighed, raising the second wand to point behind him, where the masked figures were no doubt watching him. “Theatrical. Tell me, does it block the Killing Curse? Because I don’t need to know who you are to know killing you is the quickest, easiest way for me to walk out of here.”

"Aren't you all so adorably naive."
Ambrosia had been lurking in the shadows, like Nikolaj, up until that moment, enjoying the show. She was leaning against a wall, slowly running her fingers through her long dark hair. . She hadn't met any of the students thus far, but known they had to exist. Likewise, none of the students should have known about her. She was an... off the grid member of this little party. For good reason though... There was no way Elaine could have pulled off everything she'd done this year without assistance. Not only that, she'd had a sneaking suspicion there were more. Others that she didn't know about. But Ambrosia had never cared. She hadn't thrown her lot in with Elaine based off of number of followers.
"Nikolaj, there's no need to kill them. We can find.... other uses for them." Ambrosia added as she pushed herself from the wall, following them into the dark room. The way she looked and Alucard.... You could almost see the wheels turning in her head, mulling through a number of possibilities. From that bone chilling cold look in her eyes none of these ideas would be pleasant. "I need a new test subject anyway. The last one was too fragile..." While threatening, she had no desire to experiment on anyone in the room. No, she already had her heart set on one in particular, and no one else would do.

Even Desi was freaked out by what Elaine was saying. Elaine knew what was going on? And didn't even tell her? She stepped back from the guard, turning toward Elaine with wide eyes. How had she not picked up on this? Her spiders hadn't even noticed... did... did Elaine hurt them!? She shook her head, moving back to where Braelynn was and taking her hand, forcing the girl to stand. "This guy better be delicious, Elaine," she said, giving the Slytherin a short glare before pulling Bay with the rest of the group toward the door.
Once inside, she noticed the other two talking. She recognized one of them, a Lestrange. She raised an eyebrow at him and gave a little wave. "Shame you aren't the one in charge," she cooed, chuckling. Even when upset she'd still flirt, there was no stopping her on that front.
So there they were, staring at this dark silhouette making all their own snobby comments. Meanwhile, Desi linked her arms through her sisters and held her there, right beside her. Bay wasn't going anywhere.

All of these theatrics were exhausting, but Ashley did get a kick out of them.
When the students entered the room, Ashley was hanging back in the shadowed walls back and to the side of Alastors creepy chair and desk. She watched as they panicked and talked about how they were going to hurt them for bringing them here. But like Alastor said, it wasn't their fault the girl couldn't keep her identity a secret. Revealing herself and then putting someone under the vow instead of killing him? It was just plain stupid.
Still, Ashley kept quite as she surveyed the kids across the room. Then, he gave them choices, and she could almost see their brains churning with the thought of possibilities. That was when she saw her, and she started to chuckle. "Well, well, well," she said, stepping into the light, arms folded and eyebrow raised. "Fancy meeting you here, Brosia," she said, stepping toward her sister but stopping just past the desk to take a glance back at her boss.

The assault on the school had been all too easy to Uriah. Their mission had been to target and take any and all seventh years of pure blood that they could. They had managed to grab quite a few and then some... while they had missed some notable targets such as Harry Potter's son and the Headmaster's daughter, they had still managed to catch a few that would definitely make a statement such as one of the old Minister's daughters. But somehow Uriah had got stuck bringing in the kid who had been behind all of the Hogwarts attacks: he knew her to be Elaine Dupree. A killer. A killer whom he had to admit had potential but was a little stupid for letting it get away from her.
Uriah had brought Elaine into the room with the other students and the other masked men carrying them. Uriah had actually taken it upon himself to prod at the girl to wake her up and ready her for the boss and smirked wickedly to himself as she awoke and swatted away at him. Then she reached for her wand and the other students began to come to. Uriah moved back to stand in the shadows as he watched the young ones begin to ask questions about their wands and where they were. This had been expected, of course. Taken against their will, Uriah would have been surprised if they had reacted any differently. And then of course one of them had to go and kill two of the men he had brought them in with. Uriah's grip on his wand tightened in his sleeves, wanting so badly to put this blonde kid in his place but held back. He remained masked and hidden up against the wall until Alastor revealed himself...
At last when Alastor had revealed the students their wands, Uriah stepped out from against the wall and removed his mask. Alastor spoke to the newcomers of identity but Uriah's identity that he used with the Purifiers was already one he was not born with. He had nothing to hide by showing his face to these kids. Nothing he couldn't fix by taking one of them out, at least. But that blonde kid? He looked stronger than he led on and Uriah could tell he wasn't to be underestimated. Uriah stood with his hands to his side (wand out, just in case Blondie decided to try anything else,) as he surveyed the new group and awaited one of them to speak up. His eyes had stopped particularly on the dark haired girl he had brought in, waiting for the one that these kids had called "leader" to speak up.

Elaine wasn't surprised that they were angry with her, she would have been too. But if they really expected to meet a bunch of honest people in the world of evil, then they were seriously in the wrong place. Still, she understood why they were getting snarky with her. She folded her arms over her chest, rolling her eyes as they spoke ill of the dark figure when they entered the room. There was a many beside her, leading her into the room, and she didn't physically or verbally acknowledge him. Just another face in the masses.
Theo and Alucard especially were getting rather speechy, and she made sure to step ahead of them so she was in the front of the group when the man spoke and stepped out...
She raised an eyebrow at the sight of him. She was secretly hoping it was a woman, because that would be rad, but he would do. Well, he had to because he was the one who convinced her to follow her instincts and start all the trouble she had caused. He spoke of being disappointed and called them all misfits and she didn't speak up about it. She knew what they were, but she believed, truly, that each one of them had incredible talent in their specialties and she was proud of that, even if they were all angry with her at the moment. As for her calling too soon... well, anything was better than Longbottom getting ahold of her. Anything. She knew that.
A woman came out of the shadows and addressed Ambrosia, but Elaine ignored that. "I have more contacts at the school as well, but they seemed to have laid low during the commotion. I'm not sure if they need to meet you, though. I can control them just fine without revealing your identity to more people. As for you guys?" she spun on her heel, turning toward the group, raising a quizzical brow. Her fate was sealed but they... they had options, all of which could be useful. A mask though? No thank you.

"you think my threat is empty do you? i wouldn't have to try very hard nott." he said, simply. he didn't have to fluff it up like theo had, talk it so it stretched and bring other people into it. if theo felt he had to do that then that was his way of playing himself up. nik didn't feel the need to do that. he got to the point more or less. though his attention was taken from the slytherin student when alastor revealed himself to the group before him. nik shifted as the shadows receded and alastor proceeded to explain to the students that had been brought in what was happening and he moved to lean against a desk in the room, folded his arms and listened to the rest of the dialogue going about the room.

Braelynn was dead silent. Emotionless. Non responsive. Just... an empty shell.
Even in the room as the curtains caught fire, or as the shadows twisted and slithered, bent to the will of the one truly in charge. The only sign of reaction from her was her eyes widening just a touch. It was complex magic, an intricate web of spells being cast. A complicated puzzle, where each piece had to fit perfectly, or the image was ruined. Normally, she, a girl who loved challenges and complexity, would have admired the act. Despite it's terrifying affect. Today she was not that girl though. She was just broken and lost.
The man's words were oil, and Braelynn water. She heard him, understood what he said, but her heart was not there. It was somewhere far away. Even as her wand was returned to her, her movements sluggish as she pocketed it, and even then it was only out of habit. She didn't speak, didn't acknowledge that she had even heard him. Instead she just moved a little closer to her sister, their arms still linked. The message was clear. Braelynn would stay with Desirae.

Ambrosia leaned against the wall, sweeping her dark mane of hair over one shoulder and running her fingers through it as the show unfolded. The blonde, Nott was what Nikolaj called him, had quite the spirit. A warriors spirit. But it was more then that. The way he carried himself, he had more then just the heart of a warrrior. He was one. And the dark haired boy, who's name she didn't know, was intriguing, though thus far harder to read.
The entrance was grand, quite the spectacle meant to shock and awe. Ambrosia was impressed, and even more when the shadows finally parted to reveal the one truly behind it all. She knew him. Alastor Draven. They'd met previously. Well, now she knew why she'd found the man so fascinating before. She slowly smiled, offering only a nod in greeting because at that moment she spotted another she knew.
Her recently discovered half-sister, Ashley.
Ambrosia laughed a little. Of course they were on the same side. They were Hongs after all. Without even knowing it, both of them had taken the same path. "Ashley, isn't this a surprise." She slowly took in the group then. While the students seemed.... disorganized, she could tell they were good choices. The Warrior. The intriguing fellow. The sisters (though one of them looked completely useless at the moment. from the trauma probably.). The murderer. And there were even more, according to Elaine. Ambrosia was smiling again. Because the world was finally going to burn.
