If Cass kept only saving Ondina and ignoring everyone else, then people were really going to start asking questions.

He hadn't seen her in two days. At least, not in a one-on-one sense. Now, the school was being attacked by a bunch of hooligans that no doubt had come because Little Elaine had gotten her head wrapped up too much in something she should have stayed away from. Still, the madness around him got his adrenaline pumping and his blood boiling. He was ready for anything.

She was easy to find, considering she was on her way to him just as he was on his way to her. He was lucky he didn't really run into any of the madness as he ran toward the dungeons. He had been decent enough to inform Caroline that he was going out to help, and to put as many protective spells around the Hospital Wing as he could before leaving. Finally, he saw her, lost in a group of Slytherins running about. Great. He slipped back into the shadows, sure that she was going to head his way.

And she did. He waited there so he could stop her when she got close enough...

Of course the school was under attack.

And of course the only thing Ondina wanted to do was get to Cassius. She didn't care if anyone saw her either as she started to make her way through the chaos towards the hospital wing. That was when one of her housemates spotted her. Grabbing the girl's arm, they tried to force her to leave with them, saying it wasn't safe, and so on. Tsking, the girl yanked herself free, fixing them with a dirty look. Her wand was now in hand, which essentially was the reason they left her alone, taking off and leaving her to whatever fate was in store for the girl. Not a very courageous bunch, Slytherins. They'd save their own necks given a choice. Ondina was no exception as she finally turned back down the hall that led to the Hospital Wing. This part of the castle hadn't fallen under attack yet, the hall eerie quiet...

She didn't see Cassius hiding in the shadows whatsoever.

She was coming this way and Cass waited until she had barely passed him before reaching out and catching her wrist, "come on," he said, pulling her toward him and down the hall a ways before opening a door and slipping inside. It was a small room being used for some light storage. He pulled her close to him, wrapping both of his arms around her. He breathed in deeply before pulling away and placing one hand on her shoulder and the other laced in the hair at the base of her neck. "I'm not surprised that you're just fine. You are fine, right?" he raised an eyebrow at her,

Ondina hissed out a surprised gasp when she felt someone grab her, again, from behind. Only this time? When she heard Cassius speak though she relaxed, letting him pull her along without a fuss. The corridor no longer seemed quite as cold and empty with him there, but they couldn't stay out in the open like this. Cassius seemed to know that already, and was leading her through a doorway, the door closing swiftly behind them. Hm, she'd never noticed this room before. No surprise there. The castle was full of mysteries.

She grinned as he pulled her close, the girl pocketing her wand finally and leaning into his embrace, her arms wrapping tightly around his waist. "I'm fine, despite you scaring me half to death." she teased, raising up onto her toes to lightly kiss him. "You're in one piece too, I see."

He sighed with relief after she kissed him, saying that she was fine even though he had scared her. At her next words, he nodded. "Yeah, let's stay that way," he suggested, reaching back for his wand and flicking it toward the door. A small clicking sound indicated a lock, not that it would really stop the bad guys but hey, it was a start. He breathed again, not pocketing his wand. He was going to keep it in hand until all of this was over. He looked back at her, his hand sliding up and down her arm. The motion made him feel comforted and he hoped it had the same affect on her. As he made eye contact with her, he found himself smiling until he gripped her forearm and pulled her close so they could kiss again.

He pulled back after a moment and glanced around the small room. "May as well get comfortable," he said, sliding his hand down to her hand and clasping it, guiding her toward the shelves. After a few moment of looking through, he managed to find some pillows and tossed them on the ground. "This is one of the house elves closets. They're generally hidden from students but I know where some are," he admitted, moving to sit on the pillows and tugging her hand towards him.

Ondina grinned when he stated they should stay in one piece. "Good idea." That grin widened a bit as she heard the door lock. It was just her reaction now, her heart beat racing slightly with excitement everytime she heard the sound. Because it meant it was just her and Cassius. And they didn't have to worry about anyone else. Sure, they were literally hiding from the intruders, but that didn't mean they weren't together....

"What do you think is going on out there?" She asked as he pulled away from kissing her. She wasn't ready to move yet, wanting to stay there, arms wrapped around him. But he had a different idea, pulling away. She tsked, slight disgust in her voice as the contact went to just a hand hold. She'd tolerate it... for now. "Well, if they're normally hidden, we shouldn't have to worry about being found." She commented. House elves. Personally she found them extremely annoying, and had little interest in the creatures. But, they had their uses....

She sat next to him, throwing her legs over his own to get comfortable. "I had an.... interesting chat with a friend of yours, by the way. A few days ago." She finally mentioned. "Desirae Rousseau." She hadn't had a chance to mention the conversation she'd had with the Ravenclaw before now. Since they obviously weren't going anywhere... Better now then never!

He sighed as she asked what was going on out there but didn't respond until they were sitting down, her legs thrown over his. He slipped his hand out of hers in order to put an arm around her whereas his other hand rested on her calf, this thumb gently siding back and forth absentmindedly. He was about to answer her question when she brought up Desirae Rosseau. A friend of his. He looked over at her, his eyes wide for a moment before he slipped into a casual smile. "Awe. Well. She told me she wanted to talk with you," he said. Desirae had mentioned it a few days back and Cassius said she should just go ahead and do what she wanted. Well, it seemed like Ondina had been... informed.

"As for what's going on out there, I think it has to do with what Desirae talked to you about. Though, I'm not sure if it was planned by our people..." he shuddered at the thought, "our people. It sounds so juvenile. Anyway," he leaned forward, his hand now stroking her leg from knee to ankle rather than just this thumb, "I am a part of it." he said.

Ondina couldn't help but grin at that surprised look he worn for a moment, finding it incredibly adorable. But she kept grinning at his soft touch.She leaned into him a bit more, lightly resting her head on his shoulder. "She knows about us. And I thought we were doing a great job at being sneaky." She pouted a bit at the thought. How did Desirae know? Cassius wouldn't have told her, would he? No, he wasn't the sort to do that. So how..... She'd figure it out someday.

Ah. So they were behind it. Or this group that Cassius and Desirae were a part of. "Well, if you're one of them, why are we hiding?" she asked, honestly curious by the idea. He said it hadn't been planned by them.... So that meant there were others. Both in the school and out. She turned her head a little so she could look at him then. "I didn't give her an answer yet. I wanted to hear why you're a part of it first."

Cass sighed, nodding as Ondina explained that Desi knew about them. "Desi has... a way of getting information. I actually don't know what it is, exactly, but she has some kind of spies in the castle. It's really sneaky, whatever it is," he blew air out of his lips and gave a little shrug. It was something he was curious about, but didn't really care to investigate. "Trust me, we're being careful," he said, wrapping his arm tighter around her as he did.

Then he asked why they were hiding and he rolled his eyes. "I think they've gotten mixed up with a crowd they weren't ready for. Honestly, it's kind of funny," he chuckled at the image of Elaine freaking out over how big this had gotten and how it wasn't in her control at all. That chuckle turned into more of a laugh then he let it die down, lifting his hand off her leg to cover his mouth for a moment before placing it back on her leg. He kissed her nose, "I'm a part of it because they're a bunch of crazy kids who are going to cause a riot. I don't think their cause is really that interesting, and I'm positive they'll fail, which makes it even more fun," he laughed again.

"Spies?" She repeated, eyebrows raised. What sort of spies? Now she was really curious. She smiled again as he stated they were being careful. "Good. Because I'd hate to lose you now that I've finally got you." While Ondina was normally a flamboyant and very open person about her love life (Everyone had known when she and Scorpius were together, after all.), this relationship was quite different. She knew if anyone found out, anyone that cared, they'd be in huge trouble. The school wouldn't tolerate the relationship. They could expel her, but they were more likely to fire him. That would mean she couldn't see him... And she wasn't about to let that happen.

"Mmmmm." was her only 'response' as he spoke, the girl reaching up to run her fingers through his hair, tugging playfully on a few locks. "So you just want to watch them burn." she scrunched her nose as he kissed it, but couldn't help but grin his laugh. It was the one that made her shiver, a slight chill running down her spin. She'd quickly grown to love the feeling. "You're much crueler then I first thought." She tilted her head up to kiss him, a little rougher then the light kisses they'd shared up until that moment. It was short though, the girl pulling away with a wicked grin. "And if you get caught in the flames?"

She finally had him? He scoffed at that, shaking his head. "You have no idea," he half muttered, tightening his grip on his arm around her again. He almost felt as though if he didn't hold her close then she would suddenly evaporate as though she were never here. The feeling was ridiculous, of course, but that didn't stop him from keeping a tight hold around her. Not in any sort of painful way, but enough to make sure she knew how much he wanted her. Right there. Unmoving.

As she played at his hair he couldn't help but chuckle a little, leaning his head closer to hers. As she said he was cruel he bowed his head slightly, then she kissed him roughly and he smiled against her lips. He wanted more but then her next comment caused him to give her a faux glare first. "Oh, I won't get caught. And if I do, I'm taking you down with me, kid," he said, pulling her back toward him for yet another kiss. His hand wrapped around her legs until it was sliding up behind her back and in one swift motion he was lifting her onto his lap, all the while still kissing her.

The he stopped, looking up into her eyes now, "so? Will you come play with us, then?"

She had no idea? Ondina lifted an eyebrow, tugging a little harder on one of those locks. She knew. Because she'd always felt that connection. Ever since first year. A strong, uncontrollable drive to be near him. Maybe that was why she first started to go out with Scorpius, to try and forget what she felt for Cassius. Yes, it had developed to actual feelings, but they'd never been nearly as strong as Cassius. Heavens, she hoped he wouldn't let go of her. She wanted to stay like this forever. Just them.

She grinned as he glared at her. "I like when you're angry." She commented sweetly, her hand remained entangled in his locks, but shifted to the back of his neck. Ondina would had said something else, probably some witty comeback to him calling her a kid or taking her down with him. She wouldn't mind that, to be honest. But she wasn't given a chance, the man pulling her back in for a kiss, and into his lap. She grinned against his lips, giggling just a little but refusing to pull away until he did.

"If you're there, how can I say no?" She whispered, her other hand had found it's way around his waist as she slowly kissed his cheek. Once, then again. She didn't pulled back though, her lips close to his ear. "Didn't we already decide that if we burned, we'd burn together?"

"I like when you're angry." This comment of hers warranted another chuckle from him. She did that a lot, actually, made him laugh. Not many people could get away with that. He could laugh at people, sure, but no one actually made him laugh. Not like this, at least. He continued to chuckle too as they kissed and tugged and pulled closer. Then, at his question, she whispered the most wonderful words. That she couldn't say no if he was there. He closed his eyes as she moved to kiss his cheek, bringing her lips to his ear.

"Didn't we already decide that if we burned, we'd burn together?" He felt his entire body shudder at that and he nodded, letting his head turn slightly his lips found her neck. He kissed there then worked his way down her shoulder to her hand, which he lifted with his own to kiss and then make eye contact with her. "Perfect," he muttered kissing her hand once more before gently pulling it toward him, placing her hand on his chest. "Then let's burn." And, of course, he was kissing her again.

Ondina felt his shudder. Couldn't have missed it, considering she was in his lap and so close she could faintly feel his heart beat. She felt it quicken at her words, and it made her smirk. He didn't speak immediately though, but his nod was answer enough. Before she could pull away though, she felt a soft brushing on her neck. She sighed, tilting her head to the side to expose the skin to him. She knew she wanted to be with Cassius. More then anyone else. Why else would she be so willing to go... wherever this 'group' would take them? Why else was she so willing to risk... everything? Just so she could be with him.

She closed her fingers on the front of his robe, where he'd so strategically place it. Grinning she kissed him back, shifting just a little in his lap to make it a little easier.

Ondina lose track of time. Of how long they sat there, kissing. Maybe it was morning already. She didn't care. They'd stay there forever, given a choice... Fate wouldn't have it though, and there was was suddenly an explosion much closer, close enough that they'd feel the ground shake. She pulled away just long enough to stare at the door, her gaze more then a little murderous as she waited, holding her breath to see if it would happen again...

Leave it to explosions to ruin the moment. Cassius jumped, staring at the door just as she did, his grip on her tightening. After a moment of silence he breathed out, "maybe we should move," he suggested, but he didn't move an inch. Not yet. He lifted a hand to turn her chin toward him and kiss her once more. Just then, another explosion sounded off, and this one was much closer. "Yup, time to move. Come on," he said, standing and taking her hand. With the flick of his wrist he opened the door and was peering out. The hallway was clear of people but there was a soft light around the corner, as if fire was finding it's way through.

He yanked on her hand, pulling her swiftly the opposite direction. Where would be the safest place to take her? They literally had no idea what was going on or where these people were coming from. They could be coming from all directions for all he knew. He bit his lip, turning another corner and stopping to catch his breath which meant that Ondina probably needed to catch hers several strides ago. He pulled her closer to him, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry," he said, lifting a hand to place on her neck and into her hair. "Are you okay? Can we keep moving?"
