-Takes place in May-
Ondina had decided to go home for the weekend for one purpose. To find a muggle library and do research. She and Cassius had been talking about going somewhere during the summer. Just the two of them. So, they were trying to decide where to go. Hence her need for a muggle library. To avoid anyone that might actually know them, they'd decide to avoid the wizarding world as much as possible. So, on Saturday morning, Ondina told her parents she was going to Diagon Alley and headed out.
She got to the library a few hours before Cassius was supposed to arrive. He still had work to do, after all. And so, to pass the time she browsed the aisles of books, grabbing anything that looked interesting. Soon, she had a table in a back corner, and it was completely covered in books. Two dozen at least. Some were stacked on one side of the table as rejects, others in another stack that she hadn't gone through yet, and the rest were scattered across the table as she sorted through their content. And then there was a note book and pen off to the side, with ideas written down. Not wanting to draw attention to herself, she'd chosen note to use parchment and quills on this particular outing. And she'd discovered that she loved pens. You didn't have to worry about ink pots, and you could get them in all sorts of different colors! Why didn't they use pens at school? They'd make like so much simpler!
Before Cassius was even supposed to arrive, she already had a page of ideas jotted down, and she was even more confused then before on what to do. Folding her arms on the table, she rested her head on them and closed her eyes. This was a lot harder then she'd first thought...

Cassius was a little freaked out by this whole meeting in public thing. Not that he was ashamed of Ondina, no way, but it was a bit inappropriate for them to be... seeing each other. In a romantic capacity. Still, it did ease his mind a little that they were going to meet at a Muggle Library, somewhere no one was bound to recognize them. Plus, wherever they decided to go this summer would have to be a muggle heavy place anyway, so they may as well research popular muggle places to go. He arrived a little late for no real reason. He was mostly just thinking too hard about all this. He tried to shut off that part of his brain as he entered the library. It didn't take long to find her, surrounded by books with her head on her arms. He smiled at the sight of her, chuckling darkly as he approached her. He swung around behind her, leaning down to brush her hair aside and kissed her lightly on the back of her neck. "Tired already?"Ondina Nell Weasley

Ondina hadn't meant to doze off, just planned on a short break until he got there. It felt like only a moment ago she was closing her eyes. It could only be Cassius, she recognized the way he brushed her hair and kissed her neck. She'd recognize him anywhere though. The way he caught her attention, leaving her constantly wanting more. She wanted to know everything about him. She smiled, not opening her eyes on moving quite yet. "You're late"
A few moments later and she finally opened those green eyes of hers, looking up at him. "You know that saying It's a small world?" She paused, slowly sitting up and stretched her arms. "It's crap. Don't believe it for a second. These are just some of the things I've found." She motioned to the books and notebook in front of her.

He knew she'd call him out on being late, and he didn't hold that against her in any capacity. She turned to look at him, finally, and he kept a hand on her shoulder as she vented about the world not being small by any means. He glanced at her pile, her notes, and then back to her. "I know there is a lot to look at, but I'm sure there are very few things that we will like," he said, hoping that would cheer her up. He pulled a chair over and sat down beside her, his hand rubbing her shoulder and back the whole time. It was oddly exhilarating to be able to touch her in public like this... which is why he pulled his hand back then. He didn't want his attraction to her to distract from what they were trying to do. He knew he wouldn't be able to keep his hands off for long, though. Especially since there wasn't anyone there they had to hide from. "Okay, let me see this list..." he said, reaching over to take her notes. "So, what are your top three so far?" he looked to her. Ondina Nell Weasley

Ondina could see in Cassius' eyes what he wanted to do. How he was somehow managing to restrain himself. It was cute, how he was trying to focus on the task at hand, and it made her smirk absolutely wickedly. She was extremely tempted to do something. To ruin all is efforts for self control. But now wasn't the time for that. She'd just have to wait until they were done. Or needed a break. Which ever came first.
"That's true. I've already gotten rid of quite a few definite no's." She pointed at the rejection pile she'd made. Most of the titles seemed to be relating to exotic destinations that, while beautiful, had a tendency to lack one common feature. First world accommodations. As he took the list, she grabbed the next book on the table, one she hadn't touched yet. "I don't know. There are plenty of places here in Europe, but that's just.... so boring. We can go see those anytime." She thoughtlessly flipped through the book as she spoke. It was a travel book for the United states. She stopped on one page, narrowing her eyes as she glanced it over, then flipped it. It was about National Parks. "Boring." She kept flipping. "Do you have a top three?" She asked, glancing at Cassius out of the corner of her eyes, curious on if he'd thought of anything, or if any of the ideas on the paper stood out to him.

He was not surprised at what her definite noes included. He leaned forward as she flipped through the next book, "I agree that Europe would be a big waste of time, and probably not the safest route in avoiding unwanted eyes," she said. She stopped on a page of some United States national park and tossed the book aside, claiming that it was boring as well. Then she asked if he had a top three and he caught her eyes and instinctively leaned forward to kiss her cheek quickly before turning back to the pile. "Let's see... America and Canada are both boring and Africa would be not so glamorous, for the most part. Russia is a little... freezing," he chuckled, moving even more books into the unwanted pile. Then he paused, tilting his head back toward her . "What about Asia somewhere? The climate is generally inviting and most countries are rather advanced. I think we could easily find a nice hotel there," he spoke quickly as the idea came out of his mouth, "I'm sure there is some kind of muggle attraction there that is rather popular, no?"Ondina Nell Weasley

That was true. Staying in Europe had a higher risk of them being caught. Though unlikely, it was still possible. The point of this getaway was so they could go somewhere and be... open. To not have to hide. "Europe is out then." She agreed. As he continued down the list, she shrugged. America and Canada, as she'd said when she tossed the book, were boring. What was so special about them? Africa was already in the no pile. Russia... well, that had still been up for debate. "Some parts of Russia get warmer then here." she corrected, raising an eyebrow at him as she propped her head in her hands and elbows on the table.
Asia though. There was an idea. She turned to look at the books scattered across the table and searched for any on Asia. The first one she spotted was about Japan. She snatched it up and started flipping through the pages. She stopped momentarily as he continued speaking though, slowly letting her gaze wander back to him with a smirk. She turned in her chair to lean towards him and kiss him on the cheek, she didn't pull away immediately though, lowering her voice to a whisper. "If the hotel is too nice, I don't think we'll be seeing many muggle attractions." Ondina pulled back then, looking extremely smug after her bold statement. Turning back to the table, she kept flipping through the book. "Are you thinking modern muggle attractions or more historical?" Without skipping a beat she was back to business.

He rolled his eyes as she called out that some parts of Russia get warmer than here. "That's not the point. The people there have hearts made of ice, too," he chuckled. Not that he really cared about people being cold to him, but he didn't really want his vacation to be dealing with all that. Plus, he was apparently racist against Russians? Or something. Either way, he wasn't going to Russia! Suddenly that smirk was on her lips and she was leaning toward him. He had barely registered the kiss on the cheek when her voice dropped to a whisper, "If the hotel is too nice, I don't think we'll be seeing many muggle attractions." His eyes were suddenly wide as she pulled away, smug, and then moved on as if she hadn't said anything remotely suggestive at all. He opened his mouth but then closed it again. His heart was beating loudly in his ears and he wasn't even sure he heard what she said next. Something about modern or historical or something? He looked down at the book she was flipping through, then back up at her. "Erh-yeah. Yeah, that sounds great." He was 100% sure that he hadn't actually answered her question. Ondina Nell Weasley

Cassius' reaction was probably one of the best thing she'd seen in a while. That flustered and speechless look was a rare treat, one she was incredibly proud for causing. It was his own fault though, he'd left himself open for it. And he knew that she jumped at every chance he gave her. She didn't look up at him immediately, just let her remark sink in, and see how long it took for him to regain his composure. Usually he was pretty quick. But that suggestive comment had been quite a bit more then usual, so it was no surprise that when he did manage to respond,, it was entirely unfitting to her question. She stopped mid page turn to look at him, head tilted enough that her blonde hair fell into her face. She didn't move to brush it side.
That smirk was back, though it was far too innocent. "That wasn't a yes or no question." She commented, as she finally tucked her hair behind her ears and propped her head in her hands with her elbows balanced on the table. "You look a little flustered, Cass. Something on your mind?" That innocent grin turned wicked for a moment as she teased him.

It wasn't a yes or no question. Great. He had proved that he wasn't really listening. Then she leaned toward him, elbows on the table and that perfect jaw of hers in her hands. She was teasing him with that question, that much was clear. He glared at her for a split second before leaning forward as well, his hand finding her knee under the table and resting on it. 'Yeah, something is on my mind," he admitted, leaning closer to her until their faces were only inches apart, "I'll tell you all about it in that hotel room," his voice was low as he teased back before closing the gap between them and kissing her. After a moment he pulled back again, a playful smirk catching his lips. "Now, what were you trying to ask me before you so rudely hijacked my thoughts a moment ago?" he asked, not removing his hand from her leg or pulling back. He liked being this close to her, that was no secret! Ondina Nell Weasley

Ondina just grinned at that glare she got. He was so easy to tease, and he never failed to react. And that made it all worth it. Because the more she teased and tormented him? The more she saw that dormant side of him. Just like she had her own hidden personality. Neither of them had any trouble seeing it in the other, it was one of the things that had initially attracted them to each other. Bringing it out though? That was the tricky part.
There it was though. She saw the way his expression changed just so slightly as he leaned closer, his hand finding her knee and his face so close that when he spoke his breath warmed her cheeks. She only had time to flash a smile before he was kissing her, which she gladly returned immediately. It wasn't nearly as long a kiss as she wanted though, so when he pulled back she scowled. Well, pouted and scowled at the same time. "Rudely? I put it quite nicely, thank you very much. Besides." She smirked wickedly as she paused for a moment. "You don't sound like you are that upset by my 'hijacking'." Quickly she pressed her lips against his once more. Briefly though, just stealing a kiss before finally pulling away.
"Japan. Let's go to Japan." she announced.

He knew he was easy to tease, he had always been that way, but she was just better at teasing him than anyone else had been. He wasn’t surprised at her scowl when he pulled back from the kiss, she often scowled when he did that. He chuckled at her next words and when that smirk appeared he was already leaning toward her before she even mentioned the ‘hijacking’. Then they were kissing again, briefly, before she claimed that Japan was where she wanted to go. He sighed, his thumb gliding back and forth on her knee, ”you can hijack me anytime,” he said, even though that comment was already one whole kiss ago, but he had to say it. Then he raised his eyebrows at the books in front of them. ”Well, what’s in Japan?” he lifted both hands in order to sift through the books on his end until he found one about Japan and opened it. ”Lots of… video game attractions… video games. I’ve heard of that,” he muttered, flipping through the pages a little more. ”Did you get any ideas out of Harper? Subtly, obviously,” he had suggested she ask her muggle savvy sister. However, Ondina wasn’t exactly that close to Harper… in fact, the girl seemed to drive Ondina crazy from what Cass had gathered. Ondina Nell Weasley

Ondina grinned at his words. His reaction had been slow, but she didn't mind. "Anytime?" She questioned, an eyebrow raised as she propped her elbows on the table again with her head in her hands.
As the conversation shifted back to Japan, she turned back to the books. "I got a couple ideas out of her, but she got a little over excited in the end so I gave up." Harper, like her Grandfather, was obsessed with muggles. She'd followed his footsteps even down to her career choice, working in the exact same department at the Ministry. "But she did mention something called 'theme parks', that are all over the world. I think she mentioned Japan somewhere in her long rant about them. So.. Should be one there?" Whatever the heck theme parks were. She wasn't sure if Harper's excitement had been her usual 'Muggles are awesome!' or if it had been a more normal thinking of them being great in general. "I flipped through some books earlier, and it looks like there's a lot of cultural sites as well."

He narrowed his eyes and nodded, repeating the word one more time, ”anytime.” She had that way of staring him down that often made him forget what he was doing previously, but he had to force himself to focus here. He wasn’t surprised that Harper wasn’t the most help in the end, she was a bit hard to channel. Still, he liked the idea that Ondina mentioned. ‘Theme parks’. ”Hmm… one second,” he left her at the table, briefly, to ask if there was anything that would help them with this theme park thing in Japan. The librarian gave him two books and a couple of ‘Disney DvD’s?’ He brought it all back to the table and set it down. ”Apparently one of the parks is called Disneyland. Based off some movies? Sometimes I feel really out of the loop,” he admitted, sitting back down. Really, it was strange that they didn’t learn more about muggles in their society… well, in their defense muggles didn’t know anything about them. ”Anyway, he said it’s easier to look up stuff about it on that… computer over there,” he pointed. Ondina couldn't help that smug look as he repeated the word 'Anytime'. He did know that she was an opportunist, right? Which meant giving her that kind of free reign really did mean she'd.... well, take any chance she got! Actually... maybe that was his plan all along. "I may just have to take you up on that..." she softly retorted.
She shrugged as he wandered off, flipping through the books she'd gathered, discarding any that didn't have something to do wit Japan without a second look. The book she had open happened to be travel guide when Cassius came back, his arms full. He must have gone to get some help. Looking up from a picture of an immense and serene garden, she raised an eyebrow. Disneyland?" It sounded.... familar. Why did it sound familar? Probably something from her childhood, and her grandfather. He loved muggles after all, and her muggleborn, or raised, relatives hadn't helped that obsession. They'd taught him how to understand it. And then he said movies, and it clicked. "Ah! I know what that is!" She didn't mean to sound so.... excited in that moment, and almost blushed. Instead she looked away, scowling, annoyed at herself as she forced herself to calm down. "When I was little, my Aunt Hermione would put them on." She didn't elaborate why, it was obvious. Ondina hadn't been allowed to play outside with her cousins. So, her aunts and uncles had found other ways to entertain her. In the case of Hermione, that meant muggle movies. "They're like plays. Only you can watch them whenever you want. A lot of muggles make a career out of acting."
And then he pointed at the computer. A device Ondina had been avoiding. She scowled again. "Easier said then done..." she muttered. She'd never used a computer in her life. And to make it even more aggravating? She'd seen a child, a child using it earlier, as if it was the easiest thing in the world.
