Heaven had fallen to Earth, opened its golden gates and sounded the trumpets at the pure beauty at such a wonderous place. Each foot that stepped in Honey Duke's knew what Charlie felt when he stepped into the marvelous wonder known as the Chocolate Factor that Willy Wonka owned. Truly, any inhabitants that found themselves drawn to the sweet syrupy temptations of candy was truly a child in a candy store, no matter the age they were. The sweet smells that watered the mouth as the nose instantly took long drawn out breaths to savor such a smell that should be outlawed. Just the smell alone would cause obesity but man was it savored by all who passed by the doors daily on their way to work or home.
If this was so wrong, she never wanted to be right. Each magically defined candies called to her, teasing her with a non-existent finger that pulled at her nose and lured her into what exactly was her comfort food, her temptation, her muse, and her addiction. Each candy creation she wanted to treat it like her sticky ickey or her sweet oowy goowy. Careful fingers moved along the aisles of aisles of treats that would rot teeth from the inside out.
She had told him to meet her here so she could satisfy her sweet tooth with numerous of candies that would stick to her teeth and also stick to her ribs. Chocolates filled the bag around her wrist as her eyes scanned the devilish teasing temptations that would send her straight to hell if it was a sin. But it would be worth it. Keen as can be, her eyes moved through the names of the candies that had been created for the enjoyment of all sorts. The way to her heart was through this shop and anyone who knew her knew her major flaw was candies.
He had written her an owl, reached out to her during the summer and she gracefully accepted the invitation to hang out and talk. Since summer had started, she had fallen to feeling alone, though she had her father and brother around her. But, it was not the same as being around friends. Finally, after much convincing, her father granted her request to go out, stretch her legs, and enjoy the summer with the friends she loved more. It was summer for crying out loud, it was to be enjoyed.

The Monsters walk among us Hogsmeade, similar to Hogwarts, was Grey’s home away from home. The quaint little town that bordered the school was probably where he would find himself someday, long after retiring, raising a family, all that fun stuff. In the meantime, he had to be satisfied with the dorms in Hogwarts and his tiny bedroom back home, neither of which afforded him any peace or comfort on his own. It would be one thing if the Slater house was small, or if his sisters had to share a room, but no. They each had their own rooms, and enormous ones at that. That’s why the tiny closet-like space that he was permitted back home wasn’t really his home, whereas Hogwarts was, despite it being a wee bit drafty sometimes. A little mid-winter breeze through the stone halls never killed anyone, at least not that Grey was aware of. The weather out right now was anything but the chilly breeze that Grey longed for. He didn’t have anything personal against summer, but he liked feeling the cold nip of the morning air and the foggy mist of his breath. That was what the middle Slater child feel alive. Unfortunately for him, he had agreed to meet Kyle in Hogsmeade for some reason, and he had yet to see his friend anywhere in the town. It wasn’t like that was impossible, just bizarre. Grey had already spent the majority of his time in Hogsmeade at Zonko’s, seeing if there was anything there on sale. He had been to Diagon Alley a few times during break, checking out the Weasley’s shop, but not finding anything that interested him. Becoming bored increasingly faster, Grey trolled around the town, and for the first time, didn’t see someone he knew. He could only assume that most students would keep away from Hogsmeade during the summer break, instead going to beaches or vacation homes. Hogsmeade was only a wonderful destination during the school year for the ninety-nine percent. Ambling through Hogsmeade, Grey finally made it to Honeydukes, the only shop that he hadn’t pursued yet today. Opening the door, he was blasted head-on with the sickly sweet smell of sugary sexiness siphoning its way through his nostrils. On a normal day, Grey would have abhorred the smell, equating it that of burnt plastic, but today was different. There was something enticing about the coolness of the candy shop and the concessions were dragging him in before he could even think about turning around and leaving. Where had he gone wrong in his life to never realize that Honeydukes was, quite possibly, the greatest thing in existence? This was the meaning to life, and now he could die a happy man. Perplexed by the rainbow of candies that lined the walls, Grey practically floated through the store, unaware of his surroundings. He didn’t really want to eat anything, it was more like he was just taking it as he went, absorbing it through his skin like plants did with photosynthesis. He had never been struck with awe before like this, and the multitude of raw sugar to look at completely baffled him. All thoughts of finding his friend were gone at this point as he continued to drift back and forth amongst the aisles, looking for something to take home. MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

Every heart that I held before, I was sure to break it.
Sugar, spice, and anything that is nice. These are all things that made Kyle happy as he could be, seeing as how he enjoyed sweet and spicy things and well those things were nice to him. An odd idea to think of when going to a candy store because usually that saying was used in reference to the female gender. “Well I do like females and they are sweet just like candy, in a good way. So I guess it’s not to far off being alright to use that saying for candy too.” He thought to himself as he strolled down the alley toward Honeyduke’s Candy Shop. He was headed this direction because his two good friends Nastia and Grey were going to be there and Kyle was not going to turn down a chance to meet up with his friends. The last week had been quite the drag for him and he was itching to get out and have a little fun.
Nastia had said that she was going to invite Grey and Kyle both to come help her pick something out at Honeyduke’s. Kyle was not quite certain what kind of things a friend would need help picking out at a candy shop, however he only lingered on the thought for a moment while he cheerfully strided closer to the store. Either Nastia had a sweet tooth that she needed to eliminate with absolute prejudice but couldn't choose the killing treat, or she just wanted some company. Both of these possibilities were alright with him, he smiled to himself as he made his way through the large front entrance.
The sweet heavy air blasted him in the face as he stepped into the shop and his feet took rest on a deep soft purple carpet. The air alone was enough to crack a tooth from the almost sickly sweet aroma that wafted here and there. The smells of chocolate and fizzy sodas slowly drifted from the “Create Your Own Float” bar. The smells things sweet and sour and all sorts of colors and flavors sat in a massive tube ripe for the harvest filled to the brim with ”Every Flavor Beans”. Kyle walked farther into the shop where he found his favorite section of them all. A large plastic tree stood in the centre of an aisle where chocolate frog boxes hung from little metal clips attached to the branches. ”Almost as majestic as the rain forest itself, but not as deadly or as foul smelling!” He said laughing as he stood trying to decide which boxes he wanted to grab.

Sweet dreams are made of this.... Who am I to disagree? The lyrics slithered through her mind as instinctively, her beautiful voice carried out in a hum. Her world had been nothing but chaos, one kick me after another. But, in such a sweet temptation as this, her mind could not even focus on the world, of the possibilities and the fears. Right now, her mind was filled with sweet thoughts, of childhood memories, of dreams that soar high and lifted above the sky and among the stars. All anxiety of the unknown fell silent, locked away in the dark taverns within her mind that were never accessed. Beautiful hues glisten in the glass of the assortments of jars containing the sweet sin that eased the soul, rocking it into sweet harmony away from the horrors of reality. Careful motions, delicate fingering, she removed the lid to open the jar filled with the sweetest of her deepest desires; Chocolate. Carefully, her fingers grabbed the tongs and grabbed the goodies that had always been her favorite since she was young, that held the most memories that she treasured most and would do anything to keep them from ever leaving her mind. Memories of joy, laughter; of love and hope for a bright future surrounded by those she loved and loved her in return. It is true, those who hurt you most have the same blood that runs through their veins as you do. Life lessons had not been so nice to her but, she kept them close to her heart, allowing them to harden her being to protect her from being harmed again. But, she cannot think of such thought when surrounded by such joy as cavities that would rot her teeth from the inside out. One, two, three.... She lost count, just loading the chocolate clusters into her back with few other treats that she had managed to round up and placed into plastic bags secured with a twist tie. Satisfactory, the tongs left next to the jar as the lid was replaced to secure the freshness of the everlasting chocolate that would not last long for her. Eyes fell from the goodies and rested on the watch that rested against her wrist, taking in the time as she waited for her company. Extending an invitation to not only Kyle but his friend, finding company much needed with her right now. Her father had left for Russia to finish transferring all things needed to join the parliament here in London to be close to his daughter. She had declined going, wishing to stay and enjoy her summer among the people that she knew the most. But, she got quite lonely being by herself, even though the hired help was there to help secure activities for her to do, but it wasn't the same. A sigh, eyes moving back to the choices, letting her mind move through each one, finding the answer if she would ever crave such flavor, if not, she moved on to the next. grey xavier slater@ktmccartney

The Monsters walk among us Grey’s absorption process, of the numerous candies presented before his eyes, left him enamored with what lay before him. He had never really had a sweet tooth, preferring spicier foods that left him feeling like he had been kicked in the face a few times, but it was hard not to develop a new love for candy when standing in the glorious sugar palace of Honeydukes. His love for hot and spicy took its toll with the many different kinds of masochistic sweets that left the user in various stages of salivated stammering and almost always slightly shocked at the Scoville scale of intensity that now emanated from their bodies. The soft spot he left inside his heart for these demonic confectioneries would ultimately lead to Grey’s utter demise someday, but he was able to snap out of his stupor just as his hand dipped itself into a jar of spicy death. Jerking his hand out of the jar as it scrapped the top of the candy pile, Grey rubbed his eyes, trying to clear the delusions of grandeur that Honeydukes had placed over him. Now, on normal occasions, a simple eye rub with one’s hand would be an effective way of waking up, clearing your eyes of anything that could be irritating them, or help moisturize them after drying out. On this wonderful summer day, Grey had made the terrifying mistake of rubbing his eyes with the hand that had just been stuck inside a container of Honeyduke’s hottest commodities. Searing hot pain quickly spread across both of his eyes, and it felt like a million toothpicks were slowly being driven into his head. Only able to utter out a few mumbled words as he started to trip over himself, Grey was about to head down a road of excruciating pain. Feet tangling up almost immediately, he fell forward into what could only be assumed was a large candy display. The sound of shattering containers and pieces of candy smashing on the ground around him was the one of the most terrifying and depressing things he had ever heard. All that candy...he had wasted all of it. Trying to push himself back to his feet, Grey ran head on into another shelf, this time causing everything above him to tip over on top of his head. Could this day get any worse? As the last of the shelf clattered to the ground on top of Grey’s body, he could only imagine what was going to happen next. His eyes were searing, like they were on fire, and he was sure some kind of glass container had broken over his head. He wasn’t sure if it was blood trickling down his forehead or a viscous melted chocolate, either way, something was quickly covering him and he didn’t like it. All he could do was lie as still as possible under the shelf and hope that someone would get him out of it before anything else fell down. Somehow, this sweet day had suddenly turned sour.
