hello there, my name is virginia fox but you can call me ginger. i'm 23 so that makes me an alumni at Hogwarts, where I reside in ravenclaw house. You could say I'm intelligent, knowledgeable, & witty but I personally think that I am quiet, clever, and vengeful. People say I look a lot like kelsey chow, but I don't really see it...

Ginger is biracial, though not in the way most people think. Her mother is Native American, while her father Caucasian. Due to her recent transformation though, she is on the paler side.
spicy foods, star gazing, reading, owls, painting, caffeine,
sunlight, meat (she's a vegetarian.... or at least was.), small spaces, being alone, the cold, the look people give her when they find out she's a vampire.
ginger wants nothing more then to find out who turned her, and make sure they pay for what they've done. She's always had a dream of living high up in the mountains, with amazing views over looking the valley below. Now though, that seems impossible.
vanilla, coffee, campfire smoke, and ironically ginger.
obviously sunlight has become a recent fear. the vampire that turned her
Virginia has never been a loud, or outspoken girl. During her school years, she was the quiet timid girl that only spoke up in class when she was asked, even when she knew the answer. She always preferred to watch and listen. If you do draw attention to her, you'll find her to be just as shy as she initially acts. She's very hesitant, and cautious in both speech and actions, and hates attention. She'll freeze up if attention is drawn to her, and heaven forbid you put her in front of crowd. She'll probably faint or throw up from stage fright before she even gets out a single word.
Ginger is extremely bright though. With an eye for detail. She's meticulous and thorough. But she lacks determination and ambition. She's never thought highly of herself or her skills. Nor has she really aspired to achieve much. Well.... at least until now. Being turned into a Vampire has finally given her something to aim for. But revenge isn't exactly a good thing to aim for.
She's self conscious, with low self esteem. Because of that, she tries very hard to be as normal as possible. To basically make sure she doesn't draw any sort of attention to herself. To just... blend it. She doesn't like being different. At all. She keeps her secrets and differences closely guarded because of it, and even people she trusts are rarely privileged with her secrets.
Virginia's parents weren't married when she was born. Nor were they planning on marrying, or having children. It was a short lived, and passionate courtship. In the end, they went their separate ways , and a month later Evelyn found out she was pregnant. It wasn't the ideal situation. Evelyn wasn't in the right situation to raise a child though. She was struggling to make ends meet as it was. So, after giving birth to her daughter, she sent the infant to live with her parents. Ginger spent the first three years of her life in her Grandparents care. That was when her father entered the picture. He'd finally been told about her existence and demanded that he gain custody. Since her mother wasn't in the picture it was easy to convince the courts to sign over custody. Almost immediately after gaining custody her father received a job opportunity in Britain, and moved over seas with his daughter.
Ginger had never been a normal child, but her grandparents hadn't thought her... abilities strange before. They were quite serious about their Native American ancestors, so they saw her abilities as blessings. Her father though? He wasn't as accepting. Of the coincidences that always seemed to go in her favor. Or when things would move without her touching them. He was always... suspicious. And when she was eleven his suspicions were finally confirmed. A representative came to their home and explained that Virginia was, in fact, a witch. Her father agreed to send her to Hogwarts almost immediately.
Her first night she was sorted into Ravenclaw. That first year was a whirlwind of emotions and experiences. Learning as much as she could about an entirely different world. Magic. Creatures. She'd never been any happier. Her father was less thrilled when she returned home that summer will all her stories and books, but he dealt with it. Each year after that was the same. Before she knew it, she was about to graduate and still hadn't decided what she wanted to do. So, she took up a position at Flourish and Blott's.
Virginia worked there for several years. She was closing up the bookstore one night when she was attacked from behind. She never saw their face, but the pain in her neck was unbearable. She woke up hours later in St. Mungos... obviously she couldn't keep her job. It just wouldn't work. After.... adjusting to her new life she found a job at the 'blood bank'. She still hasn't told her father. He was never okay with her being a witch to begin with, how would he handle her being a vampire? Never aging again? He'd never understand. So, she told him she was going to America, to get to know her mother's family better. She hasn't seen him since.
And then the murders... Some of the students she remembered meeting throughout the years while employed at Flourish and Blott's. It was terrifying. Muggleborns, just like herself. And the kidnapping. Again, students she'd met over the years. The Wizarding world was being thrown into the fire. But she kept her head down low, like she always has.
