Viovinnia had been growing a bit stir crazy at her home. She had not spoken to Theodorus in some time and a part of her wondered where her brother could be and what sort of fun he was getting into. It was so like him to not include her in his schemes, of course. Though Vi wasn't worried about him. While she hadn't spoken to him since the kidnapping, Vi knew he was okay. Her parents seemed fine too. Perhaps it was because they all knew that Theo could very well handle his own in a fight and it was unlikely he was taken out without some sort of fight, if he was even taken out at all. Yes, Viovinnia was very sure her older brother was wherever Elaine Dupree had run off to. They were, after all, given specific instructions by their father before attending the school last fall to find out about the higher powers at work in the wizarding world. And find out they did.
To get her mind off of certain... things certainly not a halfblooded Gryffindor, if that's what you were wondering, Vi found herself in Hogsmeade walking down the street to the Three Broomsticks. She had actually never been in the pub before. She had adamently avoided Hogsmeade during the school year, as she found the castle so much more appealing with hardly anyone in it. She imagined, as she entered the pub, that this place was a lot more busy during the school year but found that today it was quite empty. This didn't bother Viovinnia, of course. She went to the counter and ordered a "butterbeer" (it sounded alright, but she was wary,) and then when she had the drink in hand made her way to a table in an empty corner of the pub and made herself comfortable. Perhaps just watching the few people in the pub would get her mind off of the Gryffindor her brother. Yes, certainly. She was far more concerned with that.

Ondina hadn't expected to see Vi in the Three Broomsticks. The girl was meeting up with Cassius, but that wasn't for at least another hour. Ondina had a tendency to arrive extremely early though, so hence her presence in Hogsmeade already. She'd just walked into the Three Broomsticks to get a drink when she spotted the fellow Slytherin. Ondina and her other friends had never managed to convince Vi to join them for a Hogsmeade trip during the school year so you could imagine her surprise as seeing her. Both eyebrows raised in surprise and a moment later she was grinning. "I think I'm hallucinating." Ondina stated as she approached quickly. Not asking permission, or seeing if Vi had company, Ondina plopped down in the seat opposite her friend.
"So? What managed to finally convince you to come here?" She asked.

Viovinnia had just brought the new drink to her lips for a sip when she heard the sweet voice of a fellow Slytherin. If Viovinnia's back had been turned, perhaps she would have choked on the drink but as it were she simply looked up at the blond with her grey eyes, setting her cup down at the very moment Ondina Weasley sat down across from her.
Vi had never thought in a million years she would find a worthy enough Weasley to spend her free time with yet here sat Ondina and Viovinnia was not peeling away, disgusted. No, Ondina had certainly proved herself a worthy snake. From her involvement in the Purifiers to her scene she had caused in the Great Hall with the Malfoy and her own cousin. Vi was a fan of the devious mind that was Ondina's.
The young Nott shifted in her seat a bit and straightened up. "If you must know," she began, closing her eyes a moment in what was an extra long blink. "I needed to get out of the house. To have a drink." She gestured to the cup in her hand with a nod. Vi was not one to make "friends" as much as she was allies. And Ondina was certainly a worthy ally, considering they both played for the same team. There weren't many of them left at the school now that her brother and the others had gone, and Merlin knew that Mathieu was next to worthless - so Vi would certainly settle for the company that was Ondina. And she could actually be civil with her too, so there was that. But she would never in a million years tell anyone she was trying to get a Gryffindor off of her mind. As far as everyone else knew, Vi just didn't do relationships. Save her betrothal to River.

While Vi sat up straighter, Ondina slouched ever so slightly as she rested a foot on the bench below her and her chin on her knee. "Well, I wouldn't say 'must'." She said with an innocent smile. Her eyebrows were soon raised as she got an explanation. Rather vague, but had she been expecting more then that? "Hasn't anyone ever told you not to drink alone? Especially when you can have company like myself." cocky, confident, and slightly teasing, Ondina grinned. Motioning towards one of the waiters, the Slytherin ordered her own butterbeer that was quickly placed in front of her.
"So? Heard from your elusive brother yet?" She lowered her voice just enough to avoid being overheard. Since Kings cross the Purifiers had been rather quiet. Ondina wasn't complaining though, summer was supposed to be fun and relaxing. Being too active could pose a problem for the students involved with the group and create suspicion.

As Ondina slouched in a more relaxed position, Viovinnia thought that perhaps the only real difference between the two girls was the upbringing they had both had. Vi had been raised in a much more strict and traditional pureblood home whereas she was certain Ondina had grown up around a much more relaxed setting with the Weasley family, or the "blood traitors" as she had heard them referred to many a times growing up. She had, however, never officially met one until she attended Hogwarts. Ondina was one of the few who didn't fit their regular stereotype. There were so many of them now that they had their very own class-group.
Vi had to admit, Ondina was entertaining company for a Weasley. She certainly was different from her cousins and Vi appreciated that (as much as Vi could, that is.) The right side of her mouth curled up in a half smirk at Ondina's comment, always appreciating a cocky blonde like herself. "Then by all means," Vi said a bit sarcastically, for Ondina had already made it apparent she wasn't going anywhere.
Ondina's next question got a real, full fledged smirk out of the young Nott as she looked down at her butterbeer. "No," she said simply. Blinking once, she then looked up at Ondina. "What about you? Heard from any of them?" She raised an eyebrow at her. Vi wasn't sure, but she had heard that Ondina sort of had a thing for the male nurse. She had never heard much else aside from that the girl maybe thought he was cute. Vi rarely played into the old gossipy topics girls her age tended to talk about, and it was only a rumor that seemed to have surfaced after her breakup with that Malfoy boy. Either way, it wasn't Vi's business to pry.

Ondina had never thought she'd befriend a 'Nott', She'd heard the name, of course. There are a lot of well known names from the Wizarding Wars, Nott being one of them. Heck, Viovinnia hadn't even attended Hogwarts their first five years, and transferred to the school halfway into their sixth. That meant that their friendship was considerably short, only half a year old. But that didn't change the fact that they'd been fast, and close friends. Well, as close as two manipulative and secretive people could be. Given a good enough reason they could easily turn on each other. But their interested had, thus far, always been in alignment.
The girl nodded at Vi's explanated she hadn't heard from her brother, and went on to ask her own question in return. Slowly an impish grin stretched across her lips. Had she heard from anyone? Well, maybe more then heard from.... "I might have." Well, that was a resounding and definite yes. There wasn't any doubt in that mischievous tone. "And maybe a little more then just 'heard from'." While Ondina was going to keep her relationship with Cassius a secret from most people, she wasn't worried about other Purifiers knowing. It wasn't like any of them would turn the two in.

Viovinnia had only been at the school a few short months but she had found a great interest in Ondina after Vi had heard of her very public breakup with Scorpius Malfoy and her falling out with her cousin, Rose. Vi could respect a black sheep like that, especially when that black sheep was part of the Weasley family. Over time, Vi had realized that Ondina and she shared quite a few of the same view points and from there, it was history.
The young Nott sat up more straight in her chair when Ondina spoke. She raised an eyebrow and leaned forward slightly toward her fellow blonde Slytherin. "'More than heard from?'" She repeated, lowering her voice. She shook her head slightly at Ondina, indicating she wanted more information from Ondina. What could she possibly mean? What did this Weasley know that Vi didn't?

Ondina slowly smirked at her friend’s immediate interest. Ondina couldn’t keep an innocent expression. ”Well, I might have gone on a little vacation with one.” She admitted quite smugly. She didn’t give a name, not feeling like it was necessary. Vi was clever. She’d piece it together rather quickly if you just let her think about it. ”I also ran into Nikolaj. A few weeks ago.” That actually was a more innocent subject. Seeing Cassius had it’s perks. While most of the student Purifiers didn’t have much contact with the adults, Ondina could get information out of Cassius. She was in an ideal position to get information about the Purifiers plans on the outside. Especially now that a good number of them had left the school, including Elaine, one of the masterminds.

At Ondina's little confession, Vi smirked but raised an eyebrow in interest. The last she had heard of Ondina's exploits with another person of the opposite sex had been with Scorpius. Vi just got the feeling from the smug tone in Ondina's voice that this "person" Ondina had gone on vacation with was, indeed, a male. And Vi found herself wanting to pry further. "Oh, really?" She asked, putting the puzzle pieces together. "And where to, may I ask?"
When Ondina mentioned Nikolaj next, Vi's eyebrow remained raised but her face grew serious. "Oh?" She asked again. Viovinnia knew Nikolaj to be the only Lestrange to have joined their ranks. A shame, really, since the majority of the school had convinced themselves that his younger sisters were the culprits behind all the killings. No matter, though, Vi thought. She had heard that Aurora was living with Nikolaj this summer... perhaps that would be enough to convince his younger sister to join the better cause. "And what did our dear friend have to say?"
