What happened? Short answer: he had no clue. “I don’t know.” Royal said, hoping that how much that bothered him didn’t show in his voice. “As far as the healers could tell, something hit me in the head, and something else cut open my arm – they don’t know if it was magical or just a part of the train station – and…that’s really it.” Beyond what the healers had told him, Royal didn’t remember anything for maybe ten minutes before Jake had pulled him out of the rubble. Even after that, things were patchy. He remembered talking to Jake, and to Parvati, and to Victoire…there was someone else, too, but Royal couldn’t remember who, which was frustrating. “I didn’t forget who anyone was.” He said, brow furrowing. He had recognized Jake, hadn’t he? Royal huffed out a short breath. He hated not knowing things, especially when he was there for all of it. The only thing about the conversation that managed to make Royal smile was Victoire’s comment about him loving her the most. “They all knew that before, anyways, Vic.” He teased, shoving her slightly. Royal paused for a moment. Was he allowed to say that he loved Victoire, now that she and Teddy were together? He could add that to the long list of things he wasn’t sure about anymore.

As Jacob laid himself across her legs, Odette rolled her eyes at him. Boys. Odette winced visibly when Royal explained that some had cut him. The thought of debris from the station cutting his arm? She felt a chill rush through her body. "That's awful," she shook her head. Odette had been out of the country when the whole ordeal had occurred, but knowing that her friends were all there when it had happened... it was an awful thing. And even worse to know that people were hurt.
"I'm just glad you're back home and you're safe." Odette said firmly with a nod. "I'm glad all of you are safe. I... I really don't know what I'd do without you guys," she said, looking around the room at each of them. "You guys have been my family for as long as I can remember. And I love you guys." She smiled softly at her friends. Even if she had a real family now in her half brothers and sisters, nothing could replace the love she felt for each of the people in this room right now.
@jacob @teddy @victoire @royal I figured we could perhaps begin to wrap this up in the next few posts? Up to you guys!
