Dusti and Albus were going on a 'date'. Well, when he got there. They were going to go out to lunch in London. But Dusti had gotten to the Leaky Cauldron, where they'd decided to meet, early. And for good reason. Her brother, Raleigh, worked there. Since summer started she'd only seen him once or twice, and that was only the first week. Ever since he'd moved out she hadn't seen him, despite using him as an excuse once or twice to sneak out of the house. They'd never been close, so it wasn't really a surprise that they hadn't seen each other. But now? Now she had a good reason.
Or... a bad reason.
"I'm looking for Raleigh Flint." the seventh year said when one of the servers approached her. The young man shrugged, and motioned towards the bar. Offering no form of thanks, she pushed past him and headed for her brother. It looked like he was just starting his shift. She legally couldn't purchase alcohol yet, since she wasn't 18, but that didn't mean she couldn't talk to her older brother.
"Raleigh." she 'greeted' as she stepped up to the bar and leaned against it.

@dusti "I'm looking for Raleigh Flint." well that was a voice that he hadn't thought he'd hear in this place. he certainly didn't expect to hear it asking for him. he finished what he was doing and moved out to where he could see dusti. he wondered if she was coming to tell him that their parents had finally killed each other and decided to rid them from the other. the small hope dissipated when dusti didn't have a huge smile on her face. damn. "are you trying to make me drop dead from shock?" he asked as he walked to lean against the bar and folded his arms.

Of course Raleigh was surprised to see her. He must be just as surprised to see her as she was to be coming to see him. "If I wanted to shock you, I wouldn't have greeted you so nicely." She retorted to her older brother. It was... strange. Seeing him behind the counter. Working. But, for some reason it suited him. He looked.... Well he looked good. At least better then when he was at home. Probably from not having to deal with their parents on a daily basis. Thankfully her latest bruises had faded by this point.
"I need to talk to you. About River." She jumped right into it. She knew that'd get his attention. Raleigh had always been close with River. He'd protected River like she protected Rusti. That was one thing the two shared in common. "You need to talk to him, knock some sense into him. Something. He.... He's been spending a lot of time with father." That shouldn't have been extremely concerning... if it weren't for the fact that River was always trying to please people. "I don't know what they're doing, Raleigh. But he's changing. He's... He's different." She didn't know how to explain it. River's demeanor..... It was almost like he was turning into another person. And from the tone she was using, it wasn't someone good...

@dusti "If I wanted to shock you, I wouldn't have greeted you so nicely." well she had him there. he hadn't expected her to come talk to him so that in itself was a shock. they weren't the closest family in the world and to be honest he'd been counting on the only person in the flint house to want anything to do with him being river. well that has been his assumption. his mother hated him, his father was indifferent toward him, he and his sisters were distant so that only left the one he was close to, river. "I need to talk to you. About River." the frown that appeard on his face was quick and his face took on a worried turn. he rounded the bar as quick as he could and looked at her. "what's wrong. is he okay? he's not sick is he .. or hurt?" he'd told his little brother he'd always be there for him. he already felt like he'd abandoned his brother when he'd moved out but .. it had been for raleigh's own sanity. he wouldn't have been able to stand his mother for one more moment. "You need to talk to him, knock some sense into him. Something. He.... He's been spending a lot of time with father. I don't know what they're doing, Raleigh. But he's changing. He's... He's different." the frown on his face went from worried to angry. his father had gotten his hooks into river. he'd been afraid of that. he'd hoped that river would keep to himself like he had used to. "do you know what they've been doing?" he remembered back when he'd spent a lot of time with his father. it had resulted in raleigh learning how to keep people out of his mind and a lot of misery.
