The Monsters
walk among us
Proud of Rai and Finn? Of course he was. Those two goofballs had managed to get into the auror training program. If they could do that, than anyone could. He nodded his head, smiling to confirm to Andy that he was happy of what they had accomplished. Thinking of them as always being irresponsible and screwing around wasn’t giving the two of them enough credit. They were both successful and smart on their own, it was only when they were together that the craziness escaped. In other words, since they were always together, it was always like that. He was lucky enough to see both of them when they weren’t though.
He laughed as she asked if he had experience punching brothers. “Not exactly,” he said with a chuckle. “Ask my younger sister though, because she does now.” Grey pointed to his eye, the one that Addi had punched him in. It made all the difference in how he saw the things around him, that concerned both him and his sisters. Things were clear now, the only thing that remained was figuring out how to fix everything, especially if it didn’t seem to want to be fixed.
Luckily the conversation turned to the paper though, since he didn’t really want to focus on his family right then, even though he had kind of pushed it forward. That seemed to happen a lot lately. “Mostly. I guess the best way to explain it is that I’m the club captain, even though that’s not the title.” Yet it was. Everything about the paper ultimately fell onto him, especially if something went wrong. Which it didn’t if he could help it. “But I lead everyone else where to look for articles, help them write things, edit, and assign certain sections to those I think can handle it. I used to do all the Quidditch stuff before I took over editor-in-chief.” If only he could go back to those days. Things were just too busy now in the club to be able to handle his own segment. The added weight of the tournament was enough as it was.
