@magdalena <3 As soon as her legs wrapped around his waist and pulled her closer he realized just how great of an idea this was to have her move in. Nikolai would never regret this decision or contemplate a different one; having Magdalena around was perfect and he'd never want her to leave.
She seemed to be contemplating what she wanted and Niko knew he was hungry as well. And although he was picky, she managed to pick one of his favorite foods! Niko smiled bright. "Sweetheart, that's not silly and childish. That's perfect. I love grilled cheese." Niko gently pulled her legs off of him and he began getting a pan, bread, cheese and butter and turned on the stove top.

Magdalena had made a good choice, apparently. To be honest, it'd been the first thing that came to mind. But, the problem was he pulled away, prying her legs from around his waist and going about his work. She immediately pouted at the sudden lack in contact. "I didn't say you could move yet." She sounded thoroughly put out by the fact. Alas, it was too late, he'd already begun to pull out all the ingredients and getting to work.
Only then, when he was preparing to fix lunch did she finally answer that question he'd asked her earlier. Why she answered it now, she didn't know. Hell, she didn't want to answer it. Because she was trying to stay as far away from Wandlore as possible! It just.... it hit to close to her emotions right now. "They're in the ash tree, just by the pitch." She spoke softly, looking away from him as she spoke.

@magdalena <3 When Nikolai began taking things out of the fridge and Magi spoke he rose an eyebrow, feeling slightly bad about what he did. As he placed the butter and cheese down Niko walked back over to her. He moved some hair behind her ear and kissed her gently on the cheek. "Sorry, sweetheart."
Nikolai smiled and went back to work. The grilled cheese now cooking, Magi mentioned those things again... He scrunched up his face and walked over to the window, looking at the tree near the pitch. He squinted his eyes and then he saw them. "Oh! How...how do you remember that so well?" Niko was smart, but not smart enough where he remembered something like that.

Magdalena's pout broke into a giant grin as he walked back, kissing her on her cheek. Of course she was proud that she'd managed to get him to stop what he was doing and come back for a moment! She didn't feel guilty at all about manipulating him just a little either. "I suppose I can forgive you this time." she smugly retorted.
It didn't surprise her that he managed to spot the Bowtruckles. He was a seeker. His job depended on him being able to spot otherwise difficult to find objects. Bowtruckles in particular we're tricky to find due to their bright green bodies. They blended into the leaves well. His question kept her gaze far from him. "I have a good memory." That was the truth, but obviously not all of it. "My father taught me about them. " she finally finished, her voice barely above a whisper. It was the first time she'd mentioned her father other then the night she'd yelled at Nikolai...

@magdalena <3 Leaning into the fridge to put the items away, Nikolai laughed and shook his head. She was something else. "You'll always forgive me, Magdalena." As he stood back up he grinned at her. He realized just how sweaty he was and that he would definitely need to shower...but they still had tons of unpacking to do. "After we unpack your things I'm going to shower, yeah?" He would invite her to join him, but he wasn't sure if that was too much for her...he had no idea how to do this dating thing. But Niko assumed he was doing okay so far.
Magi's voice was low and Niko became concerned. He walked back over to her and lifted his thumb up to her chin, lifting her head to look up at him. "Magdalena, you don't have to be embarrassed." Niko thought about it, and he wasn't actually sure if it was because she remembered, or because she mentioned her father. Either way, he pulled her into a gentle hug, rubbing her lower back. "I love you."

Magdalena shrugged at his assumption. "Probably." There were probably a few things she might hesitate to forgive him for. "But you can always make it up to me too." She added after with a sly smile. And then he left himself open for the biggest comeback.... she just couldn't pass it up. Running her fingers through her hand, she tilted her head and lowered her eyelids just a little as she watched him. "You still haven't tried the jacuzzi yet." She noted softly. She didn't say anything else about that, but the hint was there.
She was determined not to look at him, but he seemed to have other plans. She almost jerked her head away, but found herself unable to pull back as he made her look at him. "I'm not embarrassed. I'm ashamed." She whispered back. Her father was, according to everyone, a murderer. Her father, who had taught her about Bowtruckles and how you'd only find them on trees that could be used for wands. Who taught all the different wood properties, and all the different cores. And how to read a wand's personality. Who'd, after selling a wand and watching the customer leave would turn to her and tell her he felt they were destined for something great, just from their wand alone. But, when Nikolai put his arms around her, she leaned into his embrace, still sitting on the counter but wrapping her own arms around his waist and resting her head against his shoulder. "I love you too."

@magdalena <3 Nikolai was sure if he ever actually did something wrong he'd make it up to her. However, he couldn't really see himself actually doing something wrong. He was respectful, generous, loyal...all of the necessary things to be in a loving relationship. He didn't comment further, not wanting to possibly bring up things that would not ever happen. Magdalena narrowed her eyes at him and he grinned, his pearly whites showing. "I want my first time to be with you." He winked.
Magdalena's words made his heart break. Niko shook his head at her, not really knowing what to say, but knowing he needs to say something. "Magdalena, don't...there's nothing to be ashamed of. You are...everything I've ever wanted and more. There is nothing about you that you would need to feel ashamed about." He wasn't sure if she was ashamed of being intelligent, or ashamed of her father.

Magdalena raised an eyebrow at his wink and words. "Oh you do, do you?" She questioning, a soft flirtatious hint in her voice. "You know, I could be your first for a lot of things." she added, smiling mischievously at him. At this point she might have been trying to make him blush. She was much more blatant and open about that sort of stuff then Nikolai, as he knew quite well. And she loved how flustered he got when she surprised him.
His words made her smile turn more sincere, though she didn't respond immediately. Nikolai, for some reason, could see the 'good' in her. The part the she'd, for a while, wondered if it still existed. Sometimes she still wondered if it was there. But she knew that Nikolai made her feel... better. Whole. Feeling 'normal' didn't hurt around him. Other people, yeah. Because being normal around them felt empty, and hollow, and suffocating. It was almost like when he was around he was the breath of fresh air she desperately needed. And as long as he was there, she was fine. She nodded softly against his shoulder.

@magdalena <3 Her tone of voice became flirtatious and Nikolai felt a shiver run down his back. He bit his lip and her words made him fluster slightly but Niko wasn't so nervous about it ask anymore; shy but not nervous. He leaned forward, his lips just brushing her ear. "You're my first everything."
Magi didn't speak. Nikolai assumed she understood what he meant and was relaxing her nerves. He kissed her lips quickly and turned around to grab plates. He put the grilled cheese on it and got a knife, cutting them into triangles. Niko brought the plate over to the table and he sat down. "Come eat... Relax, in your new home."

Magdalena grinned as she saw the slightly blush. It wasn't as much as she'd hoped for, but she'd take it. Any reaction was better then none! He leaned into her after, his lips lightly brushing her ear as he spoke. The grin of hers only widened. She chose not to pursue the subject any more though, because if she teased him too much they'd never get any of the unpacking done today.
"Our." she corrected as she hopped off the counter, lightly landing on her feet and following him to the table. She took the seat opposite him, and stretched her legs out under the table to the side he was on, and wrapped her ankles around one of his own.

@magdalena <3 As he walked away he saw her grin and he laughed. She was definitely choosing the right path by not saying anything else on the subject, because Nikolai would've taken her right upstairs.
His eyes watched her walk to the seat and he rose his eyebrows when her ankle touched his. "Yes, our home." Niko hadn't even thought of that actually, that it was both theirs now. But it made him happy. His hand grabbed a grilled cheese and he took a bite of it. "Is yours good?"

Magdalena took one of the slices as Nikolai took that moment to agree with what she'd said, as if it hadn't crossed his mind that technically speaking it was 'their' home now. He'd come home to her after quidditch practice every day. She'd come home from work to him. He'd have to put up with the cats getting into his stuff just to but him, and she'd have to put up with his puppy chasing her cats around and scaring the living day lights out of them. She munched away silently as she contemplated all the ways life would be different with them living together. There were both pros and cons. Like not having to sleep alone. But on the other hand it meant she couldn't blast music in the middle of the night like she used to because he wouldn't probably be asleep. It'd be a big adjustment. But the more she thought about it, the more she smiled.
Nikolai speaking tore her from her train of thought. "Its good. Your a better cook then me." she wished she was teasing about that, but it was the truth. She'd never cooked much growing up, and when she moved out on her own cooking had been the last thing on her mind. She'd been too busy spiraling out of control to think about cooking.

@magdalena <3 His eyes studied her face for awhile. She seemed to be thinking but he wasn't sure about what. Magi's face didn't give away any emotions either, so as Nikolai took another bite of his sandwich his eyes narrowed at her. "What are you thinking about, sweetheart?"
She then made him laugh and he shrugged. Niko wouldn't say he was the best cook, but he knew he was decent at least. Now, his mother on the other hand, was a fantastic cook. He grinned; he couldn't wait for them to meet Magdalena. "My mum taught me to cook. But she's a much better one, wait till you have some of her food." Niko didn't want to freak Magdalena out, so he didn't mention that his parents visited quite a lot.

When Nikolai called her out for being lost in thought, wanting to know what she was thinking about, she grinned. "Lots of thing." she answered, though it wasn't much of one. "But mostly how I can't be totally nocturnal now." Oh he knew how much of a night owl she was. Stay up to 6 am, sleep past noon. It wasn't even just because of the club though. She was naturally more awake at night, and had always had a problem getting out of bed.
Magdalena was smiling up until she heard those words about waiting to try his mother's cooking. Her smile disappeared immediately. She knew that living here meant she would meet his parents pretty soon, but the reminder... Well she was nervous, to be honest! "Have you told them about me moving in..?" she didn't actually know what he'd told his parents about her. Or how much he'd told his sisters.

@magdalena <3 Magdalena's response shocked him. It was also a bit amusing. He hadn't expected that answer, but Nikolai thought it was a good one. "Well, you could always teach your body to sleep... But it's not a bad thing, I'll never force you to sleep, Olli." Niko laughed, curious as to why this was such a big thing for her. He wasn't going to make her do anything she didn't want to, especially sleep.
Uh oh. She wasn't smiling anymore. She didn't look very happy. He gave her a gentle smile, as if apologizing. Nikolai shook his head. "No...I told them about you, but not that you are moving in." Nikolai was very open with his parents and he had nothing to hide... Other than what happened when he was a child. But, he loved Magi, and they heard of her by him before Irina could go tell them about her.
