Adrian might be gripping her wrist and waist to tight, but he'd been desperate, as if she might slight away at any moment. Lily hadn't complained though and he honestly didn't care. She was the one being a brat and running off like that, knowing that he was prone to chase. As sad as it was, that was probably a werewolf trait. He chased things, but especially Lily.
The kiss was almost savage. Hungry, wild, harsh, and possessive. It was almost as if Adrian had given in completely to the part of him that recognized Lily as more then just his best friend. The part of him that was just as wild and untamed as the kiss. The part of him that considered her his pack, and refused to permit anyone to take her away. The part of him that... Well even Adrian didn't understand completely. He wished he could, sometimes. That he could make sense of those chaotic and possessive emotions. But whenever he was with Lily he didn't care anymore what those feelings were. He just gave him to those instincts fully and completely.
When she broke the kiss, he actually growled, his eyes flashing with annoyance. Rusty? That annoyance didn't last though, because her hand moved to his neck and he tightened his grip around her waist, knowing exactly what was about to happen. Obediently, he took those steps back, letting the girl push him back against a tree rough enough that bark bit into his back. He ignored it, because her lips were against his again. Finally. Releasing her wrist, he wrapped the hand around the back of her neck to hold her in place as they kissed, his other hand still clamped tight around her waist. He wasn't letting her go now that he'd caught her.

Lily didn't mind when Adrian held on tightly. Whether physically or otherwise. She was just as obsessive as he was, just less possessive about it. At least openly. She was fine with being treated like... well, like they were a pack, a team, bound together. It was just how it was, and there was no reason to argue with it.
She couldn't help the smile that graced her lips when he growled, but went on with her little act anyway. Soon they were kissing again, and Lily didn't even worry about if she had hurt him or not when she slammed him into that tree, kissing him like she was starving and he was the only thing that would satisfy her. Well, wasn't it kind of like that? He released her wrist, which almost made her annoyed for a second but soon enough his hand was at the back of her neck instead, holding her to him. Her hand behind his neck was still against the tree bark and her other hand found his chest and clutched the front of his shirt.
She growled in between kisses, laughed, and let her hands find whatever parts of him they wanted to. Her arm was bleeding a little from the scrape on the tree, but that was a non issue for her. She didn't mind a little pain, especially for the sake of exploring whatever madness had overcome them for the moment.
Then, after lord only knows how long, she bit his lip one last time before looking into his eyes, pressing her forehead against his. "Okay," she said, breathless, "not rusty," she pressed a hand against the tree beside him, her arm resting on his shoulder.

The bark on the tree was really starting to hurt but Adrian didn't care. They'd never kissed like this. Never this intense. Never this long. It wasn't awkward though, it felt natural. It felt completely and totally normal, as if both of their wild sides were calling to each other with an insatiable hunger. Even kissing so roughly for as long as they had already didn't seem like enough and he groaned when she pulled away again to say he wasn't rusty. Why'd she have to keep doing that? It was probably for the best though, they'd been out here longer then anticipated and Adrian was hungry.
With little regard for what she might think he lightly pushed her away and stepped away from the tree. "I'm hungry." he explained. He'd rather stay out here and keep doing... whatever this was, but hunger trumped everything else. "Raid the kitchens?" he suggested as he draped an arm over her shoulders and steered her in the direction of the school.
