@magdalena <3 She shook her head and he rose his eyebrows at her, wondering why she did so. However she stayed quiet again. This was all beginning to get nerve-wracking for Nikolai, and he wasn't even the one playing the piano. But he had no doubt in his mind that she would, or that it wouldn't sound good. From what his sister had said, Magdalena was a wonderful pianist, and Nikolai was itching to hear her play. It didn't matter what song, just as long as she did it.
The notes played and echoed off the walls. Her eyes glanced back up at him, and he smiled at her. She played a few more notes and he felt a rush of happiness through his body. Nikolai didn't want to sit on the bench next to her as he wanted her to have full capability of it all. Instead, her turned his body and leaned his elbows on the top of the piano, his head resting in his hands. "Keep going."

Magdalena opened her eyes when he spoke, urging her to keep playing. She met his gaze for several silent moment. IT was almost as if she couldn't speak right now. And she couldn't not really. She couldn't put her feelings into words. But.... She could put them into notes, she hoped. She smiled, and nodded. Only after nodding did she look back down at the keys in front of her. She scooted the bench a little closer, and raised her other hand from the bench to brush the keys. Even though she hadn't playd in months, she could still remember each key. Her fingers remembered them. And her mind was already racing through all the sheet music she knew by heart to decide what to play. Claire de Lune was a good choice, that was the one Irina had mentioned to Nikolai. But.... It didn't feel right. Not right now.
As if having a mind of their own, her fingers started to play. It took her mind a moment to catch up and realize what she was playing. Soffia La Notte. She was playing it slow, her fingers struggling just a moment to fall back into their old habits. But as she continued to play, she fell back into that old rhythm. The room had been tactfully designed, meant for music. She made mistakes, of course. She was out of practice. But she didn't care. Because playing felt..... it felt like a weight was lifted off her shoulders.

@magdalena <3 Magdalena stared at him. Nikolai was so unbelievably confused. He wasn't sure what was going on in this girl's brain. He loved her and all but jeesh! It would be nice if she spoke instead of just watch him with that smile. Nikolai kept his own smile on his face as these thoughts ran through his head; he didn't want Magdalena to think he was upset with her, because he wasn't.
Finally. She finally let the song flow through her fingers. It wasn't familiar to Niko, but it was beautiful. And although she may have messed up a few times here and there, it wasn't known to Nikolai. He couldn't tell. Not only was he not musically inclined but he didn't know how the song was supposed to go. His eyes looked her up and down, and he bit his lip. Gosh, she was the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen. Nikolai swallowed and continued smiling, just wanting to give her a hug.

Magdalena letting out a slow breath as she played, before drawing one, as if drawing in the music with the breath. She'd forgotten how much she loved to play. It'd... hurt to play before. Because it just reminded her of her mother. But now? Well... Now it felt right, and perfect. Sitting here, playing, Nikolai right there.
The song was over to quickly. It wasn't a short song, which was why she was so surprised when her fingers stopped moving and she realized she'd finished the piece. Her eyes widened just a touch as she stared down at the keys, still surprised that her fingers had stopped. But then, she looked up, and saw Nikolai. She quickly stood up from the bench. It was like a whole out of body experience. Nothing felt like her own right now. Her body just moved, and did what it wanted and she was left playing catch up. She quickly approached him, put her hands on his cheeks and firmly kissed him. No warning, no words, just kissed him. Only then, when she pulled away did she manage to find her voice once more as she stared into his eyes. "I love you, Nikolai Krum."

@magdalena <3 When she finished, Nikolai let his own slow breath. He felt whole, like everything was okay again. And Magdalena seemed to feel the same, even better than he did. Magi then immediately stood up and walked over to him. She grabbed his cheeks and kissed him. He shut his eyes and rose his eyebrows but kissed her back deeply. Niko let his hands set on the small of her back and pulled her into him gently. Magdalena pulled back and Nikolai huffed at her, but soon smiled. "I love you too, Magdalena Ollivander." Her name was so beautiful, he rarely used her full name, nor did she and he wished she was more happy with who she was.
Nikolai took a deep breath and looked around. His eyes rested on the books. "Did you look at the books, Magdalena?" He wasn't sure how she'd feel about things on wandlore in her space that he built, but he hoped she wouldn't be angry.

Magdalena loved the way he said her name. Her full name, excluding her middle name. But the way he said it, it sent a chill down her spine, and she grinned. She loved him. Totally loved him, heart and soul. And every day she spent with him, she loved him even more.
She leaned into him, just taking a moment to enjoy the perfection of this day. Being here, with him. In this beautiful space that he'd created just for her. When he mentioned the books, she raised an eyebrow, turning her head to follow his own gaze to the bookshelf. She let out a breath as she saw the titles. She stayed there, in his arms, the pair leaning against the piano. "I see them..." She managed to say. She wasn't sure how she felt, to be honest. They.... They were familiar. She recognized a few. It was both a comfort and a pain. She looked back at him, her head tilting. "No matter how hard I try, for some reason you make it.... Normal to be me. But up until I met you, I didn't want to be me anymore." She admitted. He made her want to be Magdalena Ollivander again.

@magdalena <3 "You don't have to read them now, or anything. I just wanted to make sure that you knew they were there..." He trailed off with his words, not knowing much more to say about them. Magdalena didn't move, she kept her stance at where she was with him, just looking at the books. Nikolai assumed she'd know some of them as he was sure her father had a few around her childhood home.
His thoughts were brought back to her when she tilted her head at him. Niko smiled softly. "You know...I feel the same way. Sort of. I don't know the Nikolai I would've been before all the stuff that happened to me as a child. I'm assuming that since I've met you, I'm slowly becoming him."

Magdalena nodded. She didn't know if she was.... ready to read any of the books. But having them there.... Well maybe soon she would. Maybe she'd manage to open those books that, in many cases, were authored by her own family. Ollivander had been one of the biggest names in wandlore for generations. Before meeting Nikolai, she wouldn't even consider anything with wands. She so strongly ignored them. All of that determination started to break though when he first asked her to look at his wand. Since then, it'd been slowly sneaking back into her life. So subtly that she almost didn't eve realize it.
She shifted, so her arms were around his waist. She leaned into him as he spoke. "I love the Nikolai you are now, and whoever it is you become. As long as I get to stay here with you." She responded confidently.

@magdalena <3 She leaned into him and he wrapped his own arms around her shoulders, hugging her tightly against him. Nikolai rested his head on top of hers, breathing in her hair deeply, loving the scent. He let out a slow breath and smiled. "You will always stay here, Magdalena. Always." Niko moved his hands so that they were underneath her arms, and he lifted her up gently and sat her down on top of the piano. He tilted his head, looking into her eyes. "You're beautiful."

Magdalena rested her head against his chest, turning her head to the side. Her eyes stared at the magnificent haven he'd created for her, and she let out a content and happy sigh. Nikolai made her feel whole and strong. He made her realize that she shouldn't run anymore. Yes, they argued. They got on each others nerves. But they just came back together, unable to stay away. And each time she loved him even more. She tightened her arms just a little as he spoke and smiled. She'd be content holding him like this all day, given a choice.
Nikolai was the first to move, shifting his arms and lifting her up. She braced her hands against his shoulders as he lifted her, though she wasn't afraid of being dropped. He'd never unintentionally dropped her up until this point. When he set her down on the top of the piano and gazed into her eyes she smiled even more, meeting his gaze without hesitation. "You're amazing." She countered as one of her hands moved to the back of his neck and pulled him towards her to press her lips against his. It was a slow, and loving kiss. She wanted him to know just how much she loved him, especially right now.

@magdalena <3 Nikolai smiled at Magdalena. He was ecstatic that she was happy with what he did for her. The second Irina had mentioned Magdalena and playing piano, is when he began planning what he wanted to do. It hadn't been too difficult, the hardest part of it all was trying to get it done without her noticing or realizing something was going on. Thankfully, she went shopping a lot, so it gave him a lot of leeway to do as he pleased. It was a beautiful place, and Nikolai was sure she'd be spending a lot more time in here than he would've thought in the beginning.
His heart surged with love for this woman. Nikolai never thought he'd ever feel this way about...well, anyone. He never imagined he'd get to this point in his life where he just wanted to do everything for her. Where he wanted to put his whole heart and soul into making this one person happy. But here he was, doing just that. And he was happy. That was probably one of the biggest accomplishments he'd ever endured; happiness. Niko felt a spark when she brought his lips to hers, and his palms rested flat on her thighs, squeezing them gently. He kissed her back, his emotions full of love and care, with a small smile on his lips.

Magdalena didn't know how long she kissed him. Just that she didn't want to pull away, so she didn't. She kept kissing him, her free hand covering one of his own. She wasn't forceful, keeping the kisses sweet and loving.
Finally though, she broke the kiss, but didn't pull away. Actually, she shifted just a little where she sat so she could wrap her legs around his waist and pull him closer. "How did you pull this off without me knowing...?" she finally asked. She knew she'd been out a bit lately, but she hadn't thought he could do something of this scale without tipping her off.

@magdalena <3 The kiss lasted awhile. It was passionate and caring and Nikolai never wanted it to end. Magdalena had become his world in the matter of only a couple of months and it wasn't like anything he'd ever experienced before. Niko felt like a completely new person and it was all because of her.
Magi wrapped her legs around him and pulled him closer, to which Nikolai moved his hands from her thighs to her waist and locked his fingers together, smiling at her. "Well, I assumed you wouldn't walk past those trees over there. And I had people just apparate into that area instead of having to walk in the backyard to build it. It was easier than I thought, actually." Nikolai looked up at her, his eyebrows raised.

Magdalena tilted her head, a coy smile on her lips as he explained himself. "Sneaky." She said softly, and tightened her legs a little. "What if I wanted to feed the Bowtruckles though? Would have ruined your whole plan." she added. To be honest, she had actually been considering it. She'd picked up their favorite food while she'd been out today even.

@magdalena <3 Magdalena's legs tightened around him and he grinned devilishly at her. Nikolai tilted his head and bit his lip, curious as to what he'd actually do. Probably have a bit of a mental breakdown, but he wasn't going to let her know that...not now at least. "It would have ruined it! So I'm glad you didn't, those Bowtruckles are fine, I think." Nikolai grinned at her, teeth and all. He leaned forward and kissed her quickly. "You have no idea how glad I am that you like this, Olli."
