@clodagh <3 Tommy needed to go to Horizon Alley for two specific things; a toy for his nephew Blaise, and some items he needed for his guitar. Cleaning things and a few more picks as he seems to continuously lose the ones he has. It isn't done on purpose, but they always disappear. He misplaces them, and he also shouldn't leave them around for his nephew to find, because then he definitely never finds them again. Blaise is only twelve, so Tommy has been putting a lot of thought into what to get him as a gift. Maybe even some small musical item, let him follow in the path of his Uncle Tommy.
It was mid afternoon, about three o'clock, and he stopped quickly to get some coffee. He knew after he'd finished his shopping he'd stop for a bite to eat. Honestly, he was already hungry but if he stopped and sat down he wouldn't want to finish after he'd really just want to go home. Tommy had just left the music store, his picks and cleaning supplies in a bag, when he stood outside of the toy store, glancing through the window and sipping on his coffee. Hmm...a twelve year old. What do they even play with?

Clodagh was realizing how much she disliked winter. The colder it got, the shorter the days became. It wasn't winter quite yet, but already the sun was setting earlier and earlier. She was running late today, dashing about trying to finish her errands as fast as possible. Before she'd returned to England she'd checked the sunset and sunrise times, so she'd know what to expect, and she didn't like it. Sunset was just after 4pm. So, she needed to hurry. Currently she was in Horizon Alley. There was a special apothecary on the street she used to make her forced transformations more comfortable. It wasn't that they were always bad, just that they weren't exactly comfortable when forced. Her arms were full of paper bags, and she was rushing down the street when something stopped her. Just a few feet away from a very familiar, and sorely missed face. "Tommy? Tommy Jakebson? Is that you?"

@clodagh <3 His thoughts were abruptly interrupted by his name being spoken twice. Twice? What was that about? His nose scrunched, and his eyebrows rose, and Tommy turned to the right to look at the girl standing there. Ah...Chloe? No...it was an unusual name, not one that was very common. Clodagh! But Tommy couldn't recall if she went by that or not. He smirked at her. "Why it is me! Clo, if I recall? Clo Fitzpatrick?" There it was. The more he said her name in his head, the easier it was to remember her. They had been in the same house at Hogwarts, Ravenclaw. How could he forget that face?

Clodagh started to smile as he looked at her and said her name. Well, nickname. People always had a problem with her full name. Her parents were old fashion like that, and given all the Fitzpatrick kids traditional Irish names- to match their accent probably. Clodagh in particular had gotten a tricky one to get right if you didn't know how to pronounce it. The pronunciation was 'Clo- da', Okay, it wasn't really that tricky, people just made it tricky by over thinking how it might be pronounced. According to her father they'd almost named her Blathnaid, the pronunciation even harder to figure out, but only at the time of her birth had they reconsidered. Now, she was extremely grateful for that moment of clarity they'd had. At least now she only had to correct people half the time on her name's pronunciation.
That growing smile turned into a grin and she took a few steps closer. "You haven't lost your sense of humor at all, I see!" She noted happily, all from that first thing he'd said. "Oh, right, yeah, that's me." she awkwardly realized after a moment, and her grin turned sheepish. "It's been a long time, how have you been?"

@clodagh <3 "Well of course I haven't! Why would I? It's my best quality, you must remember." Tommy grinned goofily. Clodagh and himself had both been in Ravenclaw House while at Hogwarts and they had been friends as well, losing touch not too long after school was over. He put his hands into his pockets and yawned. It definitely had been a long time. He was twenty six now, so almost ten years. Wow...ten years since he had been at Hogwarts? That all seemed so crazy to him. Almost twenty years from receiving his letter. Now that just made him seem old.
Tommy licked his lips. "I've been good and bad. Life's definitely thrown crazy things my way in the past eight years. I'm a musician now, travel on my own mostly." He didn't have a band, he was a one man kind of guy, singing and playing as one. He didn't mind it, and it was much less stressful without having other friends trying to figure out music and other things. "What about you? How are you?"

Clodagh continued to grin, though took a moment to look over her shoulder at the fading sun. She still had a bit of time before sunset. She'd need to keep a close eye on it. But right now, it wasn't the biggest worry. All she had to do was get back to the Leaky Cauldron. It wouldn't take an hour to do that. Looking back at him, she shifted the paper bags in her arm onto her hip. "Of course I still remember! How could I forget? You always knew how to make someone laugh." Her included. Why had they lost touch after graduating? Well, to be honest, Clo had lost touch with most her friends. That's what happened when you decided to pack up everything you owned and travel the world for several years. Tommy was probably the first 'friend' she'd seen since returning to London.
Clo freed one of her hands to tuck a strand of her hair behind her ear as he spoke. "A musician? That's great! Seeing any success? Where have you been traveling?" Bombardment of questions. She was way to good at that. Thankfully she managed to stop herself at two. "I've... actually been doing the same. Traveling. Starving artist. Well, writer." Among other things, but she wasn't going to give him the details of her misshapes over the years. Especially the most recent...

@clodagh <3 Tommy gave a big grin. He was glad that was how people remembered him, as the funny one. The one who people enjoyed being around. It was exactly what Tommy had hoped to be remembered for, and not for anything bad. Being known as someone bad was a good thing for others, but not for a Jakebson boy, not at all.
"Yes, quite a bit of success! I've got one album out so far, only about ten songs on it, but it seems to be getting bought off and on." Tommy wanted to get many more album's out, but right now he was just starting out and he had to be patient. Not only that, but since he had cut down on traveling since his brother was killed, his career was put on hold unless he could get a few gigs around here in London. "I've done quite a bit of traveling yes, America, Australia, all around Europe. It's been amazing. A writer, eh? Have you traveled anywhere?"

Well, it looked like Tommy had been seeing more success then her! An album! "That's amazing!" She hadn't heard of his album, but that wasn't a surprise. Not considering how she's spent the last seven years. "It might be easier to say where I haven't been." She answered honestly, and smiled sheepishly. She'd spent so much time travelling, the only place that she'd stayed for more then a few months was Louisiana. But she wouldn't consider it home in anyway. Especially considering her exit. "Came back for my sister. She just graduated. I don't think you would have known her."

@clodagh <3 Tommy grinned. He supposed it was pretty amazing, but definitely nothing like some of the other wizarding musicians out there. There were plenty of bands and artists that were doing ten times better than he was. However Tommy felt like he was doing fairly well for being in his mid twenties. At least he was doing what he loved. Clodagh apparently had visited many places and his eyebrows rose, a smirk placing itself on his lips. "Well look at you, little miss travel bug. Must be nice being in so many places!" Tommy hopes to visit many more places soon, but as of right now the death and grieving of his brother is much more important. "No, I don't think so. My brother should though, he teaches there."

Clodagh took another moment to check the sun's position. Getting close, but wasn't bad yet.
She blushed out of embarrassment as he called her 'travel bug'. She'd always been a bit shy, and embarrassed easily. She rubbed the back of her neck, trying to hide the embarrassment and smiled meekly. "It it- was. Traveling is probably the closest thing to home I have - my parents are Magizoologists. Spent most my childhood on the road. Hogwarts was the first time I stayed somewhere more then a few months." She didn't know why she explained that. They'd been friends in school, Tommy probably knew all of that about her. But, it had been several years. He could have easily forgotten as time went on.
As he mentioned his brother taught at Hogwarts her eyebrows raised. "Really? So does mine - well, one of them. Karney, the oldest. He teaches Care of Magical Creatures. What does your brother teach?" Now that she was thinking about it... Didn't he have several brothers? "You have other brothers right? How are they all doing?" Obviously she didn't know about what had happened to the second oldest, Casey...

@clodagh <3 Now that she mentioned her parents, Tommy was beginning to remember more about her. Having traveled a lot after Hogwarts, there really weren't many people he remembered from Hogwarts or friends he had that. Unfortunately, having traveled so much, Tommy felt bad that a lot of his friends had wanted to see him and he couldn't. He wished it had been different, but it wasn't and there wasn't anything he could do about it. "Ah yes! Maybe you could recommend a next place for me to travel."
"He teaches Defense Against the Dark Arts, and he's actually the Deputy Headmaster." Tommy always loved having Calex as a role model; he was an amazing man, and amazing teacher and father, and he always loved so amazingly and deeply. Tommy knew it was hard on Calex after his wife died, Tommy's sister-in-law, but now that Clo had mentioned the rest of his brothers, Tommy nodded, a small smile on his face. "Yes, I've got a few others They're all doing great...however, my other older brother, Casey, was killed in the Kings Cross Attack." Tommy kept his tone gentle but not too quiet. It was something he had begun talking about more and more lately, so it wasn't so upsetting for him to say it out loud.
