Lily a handful? Maybe two hands, or three. Cordelia felt a little bad for her parents having to deal with that when she was growing up. She couldn’t imagine bouncing off the walls 24/7, let alone doing that in general. There was a good chance that if her parents ever met with Lily’s, they could have made a swap between the two of them. She was sure her mum and dad would have enjoyed a child that was a little more outgoing, energized, and not afraid of thinking of looking at someone the wrong way. Then again, the Potters were probably the only ones truly equipped to handle her at the end of the day. “She’s fun. Helps me get o-o-out of my shell.” Merlin knew she needed that.
They approached the front door to Dervish & Bangs, Cordelia grabbing onto the handle and pulling the heavy door open with all her might. Why did shops always have heavy doors? “They have s-some cool things that could work for p-presents.” But she was only interested in the film that may or may not be there. It was a nice little secret that she had stumbled upon one day. “Anything else?” Cordelia pondered the thought for a few seconds. She couldn’t recall the last time she had purchased anything other than film, candy, and food. And that was in general. “I d-don’t think so?”
