@optimus and @finn- he could definitely look up to David as a mentor - Claire Evangeline Slater has taken over his training as he's stationed at Hogwarts with him, but @railynn is currently back in the offices and she is Finn's best friend, so they could be introduced via her at the Yule Ball maybe?

Aerick - Friends in Purifier land? I think they'd probably get on quite well.

Hermione - colleagues & friends? I've always thought they'd be relatively close because they could match each other intellectually and such. And higher-ups in the ministry so definitely working together a fair bit.

Eleanor - probably wouldn't interact in the normal course of events, but the Triwizard Tournament means these are not normal events, and they likely have. A thread at the Yule Ball might be fun?

Irina - we mentioned threading them in the aftermath of the Greydina disaster, if you want to start it when you're ready and not running around England?

Wes - Roxy currently thinks he's pretty cool. I just think this needs to go on record.

Hermione - Roxy needs career advice, because she feels guilty because she wants to do Quidditch professionally, but feels like that's betraying her social justice crusades, and so she'd like to talk to her aunt. An owl, maybe leading into a thread, depending how it goes?

Ophelia - Ophelia is my ball of sunshine but she's a lot of positive bubbliness for some people.  She's always nice to Antonia and doesn't take offense if people don't say hi back or anything, so I think just coworkers for now is good.

Hermione - I've always honestly thought Padma and Hermione would get on well (better than Parvati because I agree with their intellect level being more similar), do you want Padma/Hermione at the ball or at the Ministry?

Eleanor - Eleanor is also a former Ravenclaw so she would have known who Padma was before entering the ministry.  Ella's quite ambitious and with their two departments organizing the Tournament they definitely would have been spending a good deal of time together.  Ella's pretty wrapped up in the Yule Ball because she just got back together with her Hogwarts Sweetheart (<3) but if Padma called her over she'd definitely come and chat!

Aerick and Jesse - fellow purifiers, thinking a thread in the club where Jesse is known to splash out for those who share the same blood purity interest as him. Jesse could be a regular so Aerick knows him from there or previously attended one of Jesses pureblood parties. Could be a private event which is only open to purifiers during "closing time".

Hermione and Jesse - She was his ex boss, could sense something odd about him however he got his work done. Future plot could be her instincts kicking in to monitor him as she heard the slur mudblood used down in Diagon Alley.
