Andy and Phil moved together like they'd danced together a thousand times, but they hadn't. It was just so natural. So seamless. Soon the song ended and he was pulling her close, touching his forehead to hers and asking her to walk with him. She nodded, letting him lead her out of the ballroom.
She didn't look back.
She didn't pay attention to where they were walking, just clasping his hand for dear life and letting him lead the way. She reached her free hand up to wipe her eyes, finding herself hoping that her makeup didn't get all messed up. But it was magical make up, so they were probably in the clear. Either way, what did it really matter?
"I can't-" she stopped, another crying sound catching in her throat, "I can't believe you're really here. I don't know what to say," she confessed, squeezing his hand.

@lestrange The couple walked out of the ballroom into the cool air of the Hogwarts grounds. This was home. Everything here was familiar and comfortable. Brazil had been an amazing experience, and Phil was glad he went, but here... this was where he belonged. Next to Andy. After a few minutes of walking in silence, clasping each others hands as if anything less would be disastrous, they stopped. Phil turned to Andy at her words, taking her other hand in his. "I have been dying to tell you for weeks. I was actually really impressed by me not telling you. I almost did once." he said thoughtfully. He pulled her into a hug, closing his eyes in the embrace. "I missed you so much, I can't seem to believe you are here with me." he said softly.

Andy let out another small laugh, allowing him to pull her into a hug again. She wrapped her arms around Phils shoulders and pulled him tightly against her. "I miss you, missed you," she muttered, burying her face in his neck again. She pulled him and took several steps backward, slowly, until her back was against a wall. They had turned a corner to a less trafficked area, but she didn't really care if people saw her anyway. After another few close moments of holding each other, she pulled back again in order to look into his eyes. She moved her hands to both sides of his face, "I'm slightly furious at you," she said, but with a smile, "but this is the most amazing thing that anyone has ever done for me. You're the most amazing person I know," she bit her lip and looked down at his.
Then she let out a nervous laugh, "why am I so afraid to kiss you? It's like I think it won't live up to the hype..." she muttered, her eyes pleading with his. She wasn't sure what she was pleading for, though. Maybe for him to take control, maybe for him to never leave her, probably both.

@lestrange Phil never wanted to let go of her. And he was pretty sure he wasn't about to. Andy pulled him forward until she hit a wall, for some reason it felt more private there. "You can be as mad at me as you want, just as long as you can be mad right here." He said, leaning into her left hand. Then she broke eye contact, looking down as if embarassed. He was really wishing she hadn't just looked down, He didn't want to miss a moment of memorizing her face. When she looked back up at him her eyes seemed to be begging him. Thankfully her words let him know what she wanted him to do, otherwise he may have sat there for a while. "If it doesn't... we can practice til it does." Phil said with a smirk, taking his hand and bringing it to the base of her neck, the other to her chin. "After all, they say practice makes permanent." Then he leaned down and gently touched his lips to hers.

Andy chuckled as he said that she could be mad as long as she stayed right here. "Deal," she agreed, pressing her hand against his cheek as he leaned into it. At his words about 'practice' she couldn't help but smirk along with him, suppressing a giggle.
"After all, they say practice makes permanent," and then those familiar, warm lips were back on hers. It felt like it had been a hundred years, and yet only a few minutes since the last time they had kissed. She remembered it, too. It was when they were saying goodbye before he went to Brazil.
But now, now he was hear. She moved one hand back to his hair and let the other catch the back of his neck, anchoring his lips to hers. She let out a happy sound, but not one that required their lips to break apart. She had to break away, though, to let out another breathy laugh, turning her face to press her cheek to his.

@lestrange "Where's that mistletoe?" Phil joked as he held her there in the courtyard. She felt just like he remembered, she sounded just like he remembered. But something tickled at the back of his mind. There was something, just something small, but it was off. Whatever it was, it was going to have to wait. "I just want to stop time so we never have to do anything that will take us apart." He said, a little of his anxiety sinking it. While he had been in Brazil he had wanted to be with Andy so badly. Now he was here, in this perfect moment, it felt like something was lurking just around the corner to spoil it.

"Where's that mistletoe?. Andys lips released a longing sound when he said that, and he kissed him on the cheek quickly. Then he spoke again about how he wanted to stop time so that nothing could ever take them apart and she nodded, moving her head so she could look into his eyes again. "You have no idea," she said, moving her hands to the collar of his shirt and pulling him back toward her to kiss him again. "So, let's go. Let's go somewhere away from anyone else... at least for a while, but we can pretend it's forever," she suggested, her eyes closed and her forehead pressed up against his.
But it was still there... that lurking, that horror. All the things she'd done. All the things she had to tell him. But those could wait... those had to wait.

@lestrange Everytime she touched him he felt a jolt of joy, as if he was soacking up everything he had missed out on. "Done. Let's go. Right now." He said against her lips, He pulled back, his hands on her neck, thumbs stroking her cheeks. "Let's go." he said as he stepped back, dragging his hand down her arm until his fingers locked with hers. He looked back at her and shook his head, he was way too far away from her, he had been for to long. He wasn't about to let anything get between them. So hepulled her up to him, wrapping his arm around her waist and taking her other hand in his. "Actually... I don't care where I am as long as it is with you."

Andy didn't want him to pull away from her, but he did, saying all the while that they could go. He stroked her cheeks and she leaned into one of his hands, nodding absentmindedly. She would go anywhere, do anything if he asked her too. He took that step back and panic set in her eyes, hating how far away he was, but at least their hands were clasped.
It didn't last, though. He clearly felt the same way she did and was soon pulling her hand and she followed willingly, clasping the front of his dress with her free hand while the other held his. "I don't care either," she whispered. She kissed him again, this time with more gentleness but no less urgency. "Tell me something... something that I can hold onto forever, Phil," she pressed her forehead against his, "tell me anything and I'll believe you."

@lestrange Phil held her next to him, relishing her kisses, wondering how he got so lucky. In Brazil the guys there hadn't actually believed Andy was real, and if he hadn't been writing her he might have started to bleieve them. "Forever?" he shifted so he was standing in front of her. They weren't making it very far away from their previous spot on the wall. "That is too short. If I could spend forever with you it wouldn't be long enough." He leaned down at kissed her again, matching her intensity. "I'll give you one of those every day, you can have a collection." He whispered, adding a kiss at the end of his sentence to seal the deal.

Andy nodded as he clarified 'forever', her eyes pleading and wide. She bit down on her lip, her eyes shaky and misty with tears again. It was a miracle, that Phil was there now. She wanted to scream and shout it out to everyone, tell them all the good news. But she also wanted to keep him all to herself and never, ever share him with anyone or anything. She wanted to stand here in this green dress, his favorite color, in his warm arms, and just evaporate into nothing together.
Forever was too short? She let out another shaky laugh, letting him kiss her again and relishing in that kiss. Then he said she could have one every day, that she could make a collection. "Only one?" she whispered, even after he kissed her a second time. She cleared her throat, shook her head, and looked at him again, "come on. We came to dance and I got this nice dress," she kissed him again, "we should dance," she added, but she didn't make any motion to go anywhere.

@lestrange The moon peeked out from behind some clouds, shining its pale light on the couple. A slight breeze ruffled the pair, had it been warm that breeze may have been pleasant. Unfortunately, it was December and warm was a distant memory. Phil shivered and wrapped Andy tighter in his arm. "Okay, maybe more than one, but at least one." He promised with a smirk. Was his promise wrong? For some reason she looked like she was going to cry again. He wished he could just squeeze the sadness out of her, hold her until there was nothing but happiness. She suggested they go inside and dance, and while the winter wind blowing encouraged them, that meant people. "We could dance out here." He suggested, beginning to sway back and forth. Even as he said it the wind picked up again, whipping his hair around and chilling him to the bone. Sighing he smiled down at her. "Maybe we should go in. " He would have suggested another place, perhaps the greenhouse, however he knew his dad had auror's posted all around the grounds and they won't make it to the greenhouse without being turned around.

Andy was grateful for the light of the moon, but she didn't bother to look up at it. It was getting chilly, though, and he wrapped his arms around her to keep that chill out. He agreed to more than one kiss a day and she nodded, smiling but her eyes were still sad.
He suggested they dance out there and she let him sway with her, until the wind came back and he sighed, suggesting they go inside. "Okay, yeah, let's go but..." she started to move toward the Great Hall again, slipping her arm through his and taking his hand, "maybe we can dance here for a few more songs, dance with mum and dad and whoever else once or twice and then..." she turned toward him, her feet stopping again, and her free hand reached up to clasp the collar of his shirt, "then we go somewhere alone. Like Gryffindor tower or some classroom," she suggested, then her cheeks burned with warmth.
"I mean, if you want. I also want you to promise me something," she paused again, her eyes swimming with tears once more, "promise tonight will only be full of good things. Sweet moments and happy words. Nothing else. Nothing else. Please? Promise me?"

@lestrange Andy grabbed his collar, stopping his step toward the school. Phil didn't mind the distraction but found himself blushing right along with her at her suggestion. "a--a classroom sounds nice." he managed to say, though why he was so embarassed about it he wasn't sure. Maybe because this was so far beyond anything they had ever done before, dating out in the open, maybe it was just in reaction to her adorable blush. But he didn't think to much on it, her next words changing the mood. He cupped her face in his hands, locking onto her eyes. "How could tonight be anything but sweet? I promise, Andy. Nothing but love." he said hoping she could feel the sincerity behind his words. He stood there a moment longer, searching her eyes for the thing she was hiding from him, the thing she didn't want to talk about. But Phil was a man of his word, he wasn't about to break his promise. Whatever it was, it could wait. "Come on, beautiful. If we don't make an appearance in the great hall soon, dad is going to come after us and then we will never make it to a classroom." he teased, kissing the end of her nose.

He stuttered. Oh, he stuttered. She almost squealed with complete and utter delight at that. At how unbelievably precious to her he really was. She loved that blush on his cheeks, the sound of his voice, the way his breath smelled. She wanted to run her fingers through his hand and pull him closer than ever, disappearing together and never coming back.
He asked how tonight could be anything but sweet and that stabbed her just as hard as his stuttering a moment ago made her feel warm. The same intensity, but possible emotions. He promised, though, nothing but love and she breathed out, nodding with relief. "Love," she agreed, fiving him another soft nod.
Beautiful, he said. He kissed the end of her nose, suggesting that they go before they get reprimanded. "I think he expects us to evaporate, Phil," she said with a soft chuckle, making the necessary steps to move toward the Hall again.
