@lestrange Phil wasn't so sure he was going to be able to devote the correct amount of focus to socializing at the ball. Not now that he was thinking of classrooms. But he would give it a valiant effort. He made sure to stay as close to Andy as possible as they walked toward the great hall. "I don't know, evaporating might be kinda wet. Maybe we should just dissapear instead." He cocked his head as they walked, his words penetrating his thoughts. "I guess that is the same thing, huh?" He gave a small chuckle, and lead her through the doors. "Whatever we do, it will be as good as disapearing." He concluded.

Andy let out a low chuckle as he spoke of evaporation being wet. "But evaporating sounds like it'd be better for the environment," she said, lifting a finger to tap the end of his nose. "Either way, it'll be together. And that's the most important part," she told him. The music overcame them as they stepped into the ballroom and she bit her lip, turning toward him to take both of his hands and walk backwards toward the dance floor. It was an upbeat song playing, and Andy pulled him close to her as they were enveloped by the crowd. Not that she really noticed the others. "What is this... a swing?" she guessed, squeezing his hands as she slightly raised her voice over the music and the crowd.

@lestrange <3 Phil chuckled at her comment, tilting his head slightly to look at her. "Evaporating would be better for the plants. you are right. We better evaporate." He kissed her finger as it pulled away from his nose. How was it possible that he loved her more now than when he left? Or even how he could love her more right now than he had a few minutes ago. "We can do anything if we do it together." he said with a smile. He had said that to her once before, he meant it then, and he meant it now. As the music lead them thorugh the ballroom, Andy taking both of his hand and pulling him onto the dance floor. Phil enjoyed her closeness then felt his head start involuntarily bobbing to the music. "It is a swing. Lindyhop to be exact." He grinned. He favorite. He pulled Andy to his side, took her hands in the propper grip and began stepping and kicking to the music, leading Andy with a firm grip.

Andy knew talking of the environment would get to him. She giggled again when he agreed to the evaporation process. Though Andy didn't know what he was feeling, she was having the same thoughts he was. How was it possible to love him more now than she did five minutes ago? The acceleration of her feelings for him seemed to change from even before he was gone. Sure, back then she loved him even more every second, too, but it wasn't this bad. It was hard to explain.
Then he said those words. "We can do anything if we do it together,". She almost stopped, but somehow her feet kept moving. She just nodded at him, smiling in agreement, while her insides were disintegrating with the guilt.
Dancing would help. Dancing was good. She laughed when he knew exactly what kind of dance it was. She led him take the lead, of course. She laughed again as he pulled her close and started to do the steps, "okay, okay... I know how to do this. Just need to find the rhythm," she said, listening to the music. Soon they were moving as one, her still letting him lead.

@lestrange Phil lead her through the steps, trying to recal the different moves he knew. His mind was lagging a little bit, something to do with the timezone difference. So he just settled for the basic and a few spins. He didn't want her to be too far away anyway. When the song ended, he clapped along with everyone else. Turned to face Andy he pulled her close, just as the next song started. "How much longer of an appearance should we make? One song seems like enough, right?" he asked, even as he began swaying to the music with her. They would probably dance a few more, but, he wanted Andy to know that what ever she had planned... he was willing. His dad might not like it if they disappeared again so soon though.

He suggested that once song seemed like enough and she chuckled. She was glad that swing was over, and glad that Phil pulled her close for the next song. She looked at him, bit her lip, and shook her head, "I could dance with you all night, as well as sneak off and snog with you all night, as well as start your violin lessons tonight," she joked, chuckling again. "But I think it's best if you lead. I'm a little too jumbled to make rational decisions. Could be dangerous," she smirked, lifting her face up to meet his for a kiss.
She didn't want to stop kissing him, but she also didn't want to stop looking into his eyes. What a dilemma.
She was so in love, it made her chest ache. She wanted to just disappear into him, into them. She moved her hands from his grip to place them on either said of his face as they swayed. "I love you, Phil. I don't know if I can say it enough," she said softly, as if this was some precious secret.

@lestrange Phil met her kiss, whispering against her lips "I'm fine making decisions. Though, I am not sure either one of us is far from the clouds at the moment." he confided with a grin as he pulled back slightly. As her hands slipped from his and rested on the side of his face, he sighed, closing his eyes for a moment. How could he miss something he had never really experienced? Before he had left for Brazil, they knew that they loved each other, or at least they thought they had. Something had changed in their letter's though. And this feeling he had now, it was new, and yet he had missed it terribly. "If there is a limit to how much you can say it, you certainly aren't close to it." He answered in the same tone of voice as she had said it. "Tonight, I think "I love you" is the only real words on my mind." People moved off of the dance floor and regrouped as another song started. Phil glanced around, he hadn't even been aware of the music for the entire song. Weird.

He spoke against her lips in a whisper and she just wanted to melt completely into that feeling. He said that neither of them were that far from the clouds and she chuckled, smiling at him as he pulled back. Then, he said that she wasn't even close to the limit of 'I love you's, if that even existed, and then said those were the only words that were coming to his mind. "Then let's..." she paused, moving her hands from his face to take both of his hands. "Let's just keep saying it and keep showing it. Come on," she tugged on his hands and backed off the dance floor.
Once they were free of the crowds, she took just one hand and led him back to the common room in silence. There weren't many people in there, and they could find a nice corner to sit in 'alone' without being completely alone and giving into whims of the moment. She found a couch back in a study nook and gently sat on it, pulling him down to sit with her. She bent her knees so they were up on the couch, resting on his lap, her feet underneath her, her dress like a large blanket. "Now, what were you saying?" she whispered, leaning into to kiss him.
