"Hm..." Magdalena thought, considering his words carefully. "You could be a little nicer." She finally added after the moment of contemplation. A good mix between them though? They were both stubborn as oxes. Between Nikolai's quick but cold temper and Magdalena's wild and reckless behavior... "Hopefully they take after some of our more redeeming traits." Lord have mercy if their child took after the other traits... Well, Lord have mercy on Nikolai. He already had issues handling her wild fire tendencies, a child taking after that, especially a daughter, just might bring out a very interesting side of Nikolai.
Heavens, he was excited about the exterior decorations and she laughed. "Okay, okay. Inflatable decorations. But inside first!" She grinned. He'd already wrapped the tinsel around the tree. Feeling far less productive then she should, she unwrapped the top of the tree and bolted around her boyfriend to wrap him in the tinsel instead. "Just as pretty as the tree!" Christmas decorating apparently brought out her silly side...

@magdalena <3 Nikolai laughed. "I could, but would you really like that?" Niko tried to be nicer, and in all honesty, he had done quite a good job since they had first met. Everything Magdalena had done and said to him when they first met agitated him to no end and he was incredibly rude to her. Although, it was what he think made them bond more than anything, was the arguing. "Hopefully." Immediately Nikolai imagined a dancing, talking back, angry little girl and he made a disgusted face. "Honestly, they better get good traits." He shook his head and went back to the decorations.
He nodded his head. Of course inside first! But his jaw dropped when Magi took off the tinsel that he had just put up and wrapped it around him and instead of the tree. "Magdalena I am not a tree!" He glared at her and took the tinsel off of himself angrily and put it back around the tree. "You're a nut job." Nikolai grumbled to himself and grabbed more tinsel and threw it at her, smirking. "Your turn."

Magdalena shrugged at his question. "I might if it was just a little nicer. Not to much though. Because then it'd make me sound like a jerk whenever I wasn't being nice to you." She smugly retorted. She would be the first one to admit that she could be a snarky little brat when she wanted to, but so could he. It was probably that shared trait that made them work so well together. Because neither of them would take any sort of crap from the other without returning the favor.
Thinking about what this baby would be like when they were born was.... strange. Magdalena wasn't great at planning for the future. Looking ahead, trying to decide what she wanted to do, or where she wanted to be... She was just too caught up in the moment to really put much thought into it. But here they were, talking about what this child might be like... "Just not your jinxing skills. They better not have those!" She teased.
At his protest Magdalena grinned widely and giggled, skipping a few steps away. "Could have fooled me!" She taunted. His glaring and angry expression had absolutely no affect on her, and she just continued to grin childishly at him, and it only grew when he called her a nut job. "Takes one to know one!" She retorted in that same giddy, happy, voice as before. Though she gasped as he threw the tinsel at her. Catching it, she threw it right back, grinning. "No, you're the one in need of some decorating!"

@magdalena <3 Nikolai shook his head, smiling slightly. He knew he had been a bit nicer, hell, he wasn't yelling at her anymore. They weren't arguing to the point he left with slamming doors. They had gotten a thousand times better, and Nikolai knew it. He hoped Magdalena did as well. "I think where we're at is good so far, don't you, Olli?" Nikolai winked.
Nikolai's jaw dropped and he brought his hand to his chest. "Oh, how rude, Magdalena! I'm so offended!" He dropped his hand and moved over to her, grabbing her by the waist. He got down on his knees and stared straight at her stomach, speaking to the baby inside. "Now, you listen here, baby Krum, you jinx anyone you want. And I'll be proud no matter who it is." He grinned wickedly and kissed Magi's stomach before standing back up and kissing her lips. "I love you."
His arms crossed and he rose a brow, staring at her as she danced around all goofy. "You acting like this is making me remember that jinxing day much more now...I recall you acting the same exact way." Nikolai glared at her as she threw the tinsel back and shook his head, wrapping it back around the tree. "Make yourself useful, get the ornaments would you?"

Magdalena laughed. Good where they were. Yeah, probably. They somehow made things work, despite being both confrontational people. Well, Nikolai was confrontational, Magi was ridiculously stubborn and hated admitting she was wrong. Either way, When they'd met at Club Indigo for the first time, and the day after they'd left a bad impression on each other. Somehow they'd managed to change that outlook, a feat she didn't even understand still. As he put on an act of acting offended though, Magi rolled her eyes and planted a hand on her hip. She opened her mouth to shot back some snarky response, but he'd already moved, dropping to his knees in front of her and holding her waist tight. The look on his face made her laugh again. He looked so intense, as if he could see and speak with the baby inside, and then even proceeded to speak to it. Even though she still thought it was hilarious she stopped laughing and just smiled. Her heart fluttered just a little, and she couldn't help but feel... Well happy. Even though her life wasn't turning out in anyway like her parents had wanted, or how she'd ever thought it'd be. But despite all her mistakes and problems she was glad that they'd lead her here. Resting her hands on Nikolai's shoulders she shook her head. "Hey, don't I get a say in this?" She asked, though it sounded like she was scolding him as he leaned towards to kiss her stomach, then stood up and finally kissed her. Leaning forward into the kiss, it was much shorter then she'd wanted. "I love you too." She answered as she met those gorgeous eyes of his.
Magdalena made a face, and then stuck her tongue out at him. Who cares if she was acting silly? "What way? Happy?" She teased. And happy she was. Unusually happy today. Eh, it was the hormones probably. They'd been doing weird things to her emotions lately, and there had been some serious mood swings the last few days especially. At the next command of getting the ornaments she finally shrugged and stepped away from the tree and decorations. "In a minute. I need hot chocolate." Of course. Always with the hot chocolate. "And if you promise to actually drink it, I could make you one too, I suppose." she added with a grin.
Heading into the kitchen she got down her favorite hot chocolate mix, and the kettle. Filling it with water she was just about to set in on the stove when a sharp, almost blinding pain shot shot through her right side, right under her ribs. Immediately Magdalena gasped, her free hand moving to press against the spot, as if it'd stop the pain as she dropped the kettle. Thankfully it'd already been over the stove, so it landed with a thud. Not enough to actually break anything, but enough that Nikolai would have heard it at the very least. Magdalena didn't care though. Her eyes squeezed shut and her nose scrunched a little as she pressed even harder on the spot on her side. "Dammit...." She cursed under her breath. It wasn't the first time she'd had a similar pain. In fact, it had been frequent enough that she was positive it was normal symptom... But that didn't change the fact that it hurt like hell.

@magdalena <3 "You can have a say, but I'm sure this baby will listen to me more on that part. What kid doesn't want to be told they can do whatever they want?" Nikolai chuckled. He knew he would've loved that freedom as a child. But that would've never happened. Being a Krum could be hell sometimes, but Nikolai also loved being a Krum. His smile widened after the kiss ended. If it was up to him, he'd kiss Magdalena forever. But unfortunately, they had to breathe.
She was insane. What was up with this sudden burst of happiness and energy? "Yes, happy. It's very unusual of you to be acting so happy!" That sounded terrible, but it was true. With the pregnancy, she was in a lot of pain and had a ton of nausea. She also rarely slept as it was, but her insomnia got much worse with the pregnancy. So while seeing Magdalena bouncing about and laughing and giggling was a good thing, it also made him worried. What was she doing to make herself so happy? Magi mentioned hot chocolate and he chuckled, "Of course. I'll take one! And I will drink it!" It wasn't his favorite, but for her, he'd do anything.
And then he heard a big bang. Eyes widening immediately, Nikolai dropped the box of ornaments on the couch next to him and turned quickly to look into the kitchen. He ran in frantically, looking around. She was still standing, but holding her side. Oh no. What was wrong? Was she okay? Was it the baby? Nikolai ran over to her and began looking her over, his hands moving every which way. "Are you okay? What happened? Did you burn yourself? Is it the baby?" His words came out of his mouth a thousand miles a second, so fast that he wasn't sure Magdalena even processed every question he asked.

Magdalena didn't notice Nikolai's frantic arrival into the kitchen at first. Focusing on her breathing she forced herself to take slow, deep breaths. Inhale through the nose, out through the mouth. It didn't help much withtge spasming pain in her side. Only when he spoke did she notice his presence and sharply nodded. "... Fine..." she forced herself to say, her force straining just a little as she pressed harder on the spot at her side.
Another few deep breaths and she lowered her hand from her side. It still hurt, but it's turning into a constant throbbing instead of intense stabbing. Her eyes finally opened and she had to blink a few times to clear her vision, her eyes having been watery from the pain. "It's... okay, Nikolai..." she managed to add, though her voice wasn't very convincing. She took a step away from the stove, and cringed at a sudden sharpness to the pain. Why did being pregnant have to be so uncomfortable?

@magdalena <3 His eyes widened, partially with fear and even more with anger. This was the wildest thing to him. Magdalena, in pain, yet pretending like everything was fine. "Fine?! You're not daft, Magdalena! Stop lying." He growled, and with a wave of his hand he summoned a chair over to them, putting it underneath her. "Sit. Now." He knelt down, glancing at the area where she was in pain, and placing his hands around her stomach.
"Our appointment with the Healer isn't until mid-January. However, I am sending her an owl. We need one as soon as January begins." Nikolai shook his head. He wished he had become a Healer himself sooner, so he could have more information as to what might be going on or what was wrong with the baby. His hand went up, wiping a tear from her eye. "I will let you know what the Healer says. She might have to make a visit." Nikolai grabbed a quill and paper, and began to write...
