Slogging through all of these questions was far more draining than he would have expected. Set aside the fact that they were almost all related to relationships to some capacity, Grey had had enough of it all. The love potion was done with and he could move on with his life. Thankfully it had been snipped before the Yule Ball, because there probably would have been a really good chance that one of the letters would have been from him and asking about Ondina. That was a disgusting thought. If she wasn’t such an entitled little brat, there would have been some redeeming qualities about her. Grey frowned as he flipped the last of the letters into the discard pile. He wasn’t sure if that was still a little piece of the potion telling him to think about her that way, or if he actually believed it. Just to be safe, he’d have to remember to take more than the normal amount of the antidote with dinner. Could never be too careful.
Grey leaned back in his chair as Lyla described her process of sorting through the questions she was going to use. It all sounded good to him. He wasn’t exactly fussy on how she went about the whole thing, just that answers the readers wanted to see were there, and it dragged in more viewership than past editions. They had been hyping this one up for a while, so there was a good chance it would be a hit. Especially if all these letters were an indication of it. “That works for me,” he said, standing up. “I’ll leave it to you then. Once you have a draft, let me know and I’ll look over it before submitting the final for the next edition.” Grey headed towards the door, pushing it open and waving over his shoulder before stepping out into the hall. “Good luck.”
