@georgiana Lance couldn’t help but snort when Georgie mentioned not being able to get a tattoo. Those had age limits, didn’t they? Piercings weren’t really attached to the whole social stigma thing as much as tattoos were, at least from how he understood it. Maybe England was different from South Carolina in that regard. “I think a tattoo would suit you Georgie,” he tried to say with a straight face, though a giggle or two escaped through it. “You might get taken more seriously that way.” Lance had seen his sister in action before, and she was definitely a force to reckon with. A tattoo would probably only outline her power even more.
Even with his joking though, it seemed like she had caught onto him. Cold feet was one way to put it. The other was that his brain decided to be indecisive at the last second. Choosing a piercing was one thing, and there were numerous kinds that he could get, and then actually stepping through the door was another. Right now he only had a vague idea of what he wanted, and he could easily walk away from the shop at any second if he truly didn’t want a piercing. “A little,” he muttered, staring up at the sign for the parlor. “But I said I’d do it, so I will.” Lance reaffirmed, stepping up to the door. Taking a deep breath, he entered.
It hurt like hell. Why couldn’t he have gotten an ear piercing? That was simple, and probably didn’t hurt nearly as much as the one he had gotten. Apparently the indecisiveness that he had before entering the store earlier was still in effect when he stated that he wanted a piercing to the employee inside. Somehow they convinced him that a lip ring would look good on him, so here he was, in the streets of Diagon Alley with a brand new lip ring and a throbbing pain in his mouth. They said it would go away eventually, but damn it hurt. The hardest part was keeping his tongue away from the part of the piercing that was inside his mouth. Every time he accidentally tapped it, he was reminded that there was now an extra extension of his body, and the pain only served as a deterrent from talking.
He believed he had manned up for it though; no tears of pain or backing down at the last second. That would have defeated the purpose of completing an item on his bucket list. Georgie hadn’t complained about stealing from the man earlier, so he wouldn’t either. Hers had a lot more legal ramifications too, whereas a piercing was something that could easily be removed if he decided he didn’t like it anymore. “How much do we have left?” He asked Georgie as they walked down the street. “Might as well get food if we have enough. Make the most of the trip. I’m sure they already know we’re gone.” The fun part was going to be returning to the orphanage later on and getting reprimanded for leaving the property. The lip piercing would probably get some disappointed looks, but having money that wasn’t theirs would be the worst part about it. Lance could claim he had some left over from the previous school year to get his piercing, but Georgie having a good chunk of money didn’t seem as believable to him for some reason.

Georgie’s eyes widened slightly when her brother said that a tattoo would suit her. That was more than she had expected from her brother, especially since she had brought the idea up as a joke more than anything. “Keep it in mind for after I graduate.” Georgie said with a half-smile. After she graduated, Lance would already have been working for a year, so maybe they’d actually have money – their own money – to spend on frivolities like tattoos. Georgie was going to need at least that long to come up with a design that she liked, anyways. If she was going to be permanently marking up her body, she wasn’t going to do it with just any design, and if she was going to go for the more serious look, as Lance assumed she would, then that would narrow down her ideas quite a bit. While flowers and sunsets were pretty, they didn’t make good tough-looking tattoos. Georgie wondered briefly if tattoos required water. If they did, then maybe getting one wasn’t such a great idea… But that wasn’t her main concern, since Lance admitted that he was getting nervous about the whole situation. Georgie reached out to touch his arm gently. Sure, it would suck if they weren’t able to get his piercing and the money was stolen for naught, but she also didn’t want her brother doing something he didn’t want to. Lance said he wanted to go through with getting a piercing – or at least that he was going to keep his promise to go through with it – so in the store they went.
--- Georgie was impressed with her brother. He had gotten something stuck through his lip, and he hadn’t even cried. Lance was being rather quiet, but Georgie figured that was at least in part due to the fact that he needed to relearn how to talk with something hanging off of his lip. Georgie had to admit, it was a little mesmerizing to look at. The simple metal loop caught the light in different ways as they walked down the street, and it was just… cool. Almost as cool as Lance himself was, and that was difficult to do. Georgie had paid for the piercing before they had left, obviously, and was more than happy to count their change when Lance asked how much was leftover. “Two Sickles and a Knut.” She answered. The place had asked for three Galleons for the piercing process, but the piercing itself – that was, the lip ring – had only cost them a handful of Knuts. “I think it should be enough to get us some fish and chips.” Georgie mused. The food at the orphanage was good, but nothing like Southern comfort food. Fish and chips from a street vendor was the only thing that came close to having as much flavor as American food, and Georgie was more than happy to buy them each a packet. “Are you sure you’re up to eating?” It seemed like it would be a difficult process, with the new lip ring and all, and Georgie didn’t want Lance hurting himself.

@georgiana That was a decent amount of money, considering what they were allowed to have on their typical outings to Diagon Alley. School shopping and the money allotted for the school terms was a different story, of course, but even then, scrambling to keep enough money through the fall term for Christmas presents had always been a struggle. He couldn’t understand the reluctance of the orphanage to allow them full access to their account, though he supposed it had something to do with not blowing all of the money at once. In a year’s time, that wouldn’t be an issue. At least, he hoped it wouldn’t.
Lance hadn’t expected the actual piercing process to cost as much as it did. If only the wizarding money here was as simple as the dragot was back home. Then again, nothing had truly been simple since they came over seas, so it made sense that this wasn’t any easier. At the mention of fish and chips, Lance could feel his stomach rumble. Now that he thought about it, they probably should have eaten beforehand, that way he wouldn’t have to suffer like this. He knew that eating was going to be fine eventually; all they had told him was to make sure he washed out his mouth after each meal and before sleeping, which was to aid the healing process. Though magic could do the majority of that, he was kind of intrigued by the idea of getting a piercing and going through the same process as muggles. Obviously that meant more pain and a longer healing period, but it got him to the same end result regardless.
“I’ll probably just get a drink,” Lance responded, wincing slightly as he did so. This was going to take a while to get used to, that was for sure. Eating was probably out of the question right this moment, though he was sure he could manage it later that evening, or even the next day. As long as his lip didn’t swell up to the size of a balloon. So far it was looking good; slightly puffy with the additional bonus of the pain, but that would apparently end in the next day or two. The only caveat was that he needed to remember about the piercing being there. It was more than likely going to get caught on a shirt or two at some point during the remainder of its time on his face. That was the last thing he wanted to happen. “Any place in particular?” He asked his sister. There were plenty of restaurants in Diagon Alley, and they were married to staying in the magical district since that was the only money they had. Muggle London probably had better food for cheaper.

Lance said that he was only going to get a drink if they went someplace to eat, which Georgie could appreciate. She was worried about her brother, and if he wanted to do something to minimize his discomfort, then he could damn well do it. When Lance asked if there was any place in particular she wanted to go, Georgie tried to think of someplace that had more than just water and sodas to drink. “There’s a smoothie place about three blocks down, I think.” She suggested. A smoothie would be more filling than some other drink, too, so if Lance wasn’t feeling up to eating at dinner time he wouldn’t starve to death. “There’s a fish joint right next door, so you can get your smoothie while I get my food?” Georgie asked. Ordering their food in parallel would make the process faster, which Georgie wasn’t sure she wanted – staying out of the orphanage as long as humanly possible seemed to be a good idea – but she knew that they would be missed soon, and she didn’t want to get taken in by magical law enforcement officials for running away or something like that. If only the orphanage staff realized that she and Lance always came back… then they’d be allowed to go out more easily, Georgie thought. In any case, they probably did want to be fast, even if they didn’t like it. “Or, if we wanted to be even worse children than we already are, we could go to Fortescue’s…?” She suggested, somewhat hopefully. The ice cream parlor could make milkshakes, too, she was certain, which meant that Lance could still have something. Besides, finishing their day of gallivanting by eating ice cream for lunch? That sounded much more fun than just eating fish and chips, even if fish and chips were greasy and amazing and exactly what Georgie was craving. She could get over just about any craving with a good scoop of chocolate ice cream.

@georgiana The pain from this thing was probably nothing compared to getting a tooth removed. That was more than likely a constant throb for a few days, whereas the piercing would hopefully be good by the end of the day. Slightly tender, sure, but nothing he couldn’t handle. Showing his weakness in front of the younger kids at the orphanage would lead to relentless teasing. Lance didn’t want to make them think that was an okay thing to do to someone. He and Georgie were the oldest ones there, so they had to be good examples for everyone else. Obviously they were pretty good at breaking that, if today was any indication of things that had happened in the past. There would probably be some kind of reprimanding, but they were old enough now that keeping them cooped up constantly was a little silly, and thus, the punishments wouldn’t be too bad. If Lance had to guess, he would say that they would have to do cleaning or something of the sort. He didn’t mind. Anything to help those that had helped them.
In regards to the pain though, getting something to drink was starting to sound better and better to him, and while he was hungry, that could wait until he was positive that his lip wasn’t going to ache. Georgie brought up that there was a smoothie place right next the restaurant that had fish and chips, and Lance could feel his stomach grumble at the thought. Smoothies were almost solid food, and healthy as long as he got the right kind. He pondered this idea as she went on, mentioning going to Fortescue’s ice cream shop instead. Lance completely forgot that there was a piece of metal sticking through his lip now, and bit down on it contemplatively. Wincing again, he was reminded that this was going to be a process. “Ice cream is ok…” He said slowly, lip starting to ache again from his own idiocy. “A smoothie sounds better though, to be honest.”

Georgie watched Lance as they continued to walk down the street, wishing that she could read her brother the way she could read a book. She wondered if it was a family thing to be closed off with their emotions, or if that just happened as a result of being abandoned. It wasn’t like there was a difference between the two, though, since half their family was probably dead and the other half was walking down the alley right now, having been abandoned as children. She couldn’t see much of what he was thinking, though Georgie presumed he was mostly preoccupied with the foreign object that was now in his mouth. That presumption was proved somewhat incorrect when Lance bit down on his lip and winced, probably because he forgot that the piercing was there in the first place. He said that ice cream was okay, and Georgie shrugged. She wasn’t going to force him in one direction or another. Since he was the one who had just had something sharp poked into and then through his lip, he definitely got the first choice when it came to getting their food. “Smoothie for you, fish and chips for me it is, then.” Georgie said with a decisive nod, glad they were already walking in the right direction. “You can take a Sickle and I’ll keep the Sickle and Knut?” Georgie suggested, assuming that her meal would be more expensive than Lance’s smoothie. “We can meet up out here and come up with a game plan for our excuse?” She wasn’t sure if they ought to even try excusing themselves at all, but since they were “role models” (which was a supremely bad idea, as far as Georgie was concerned), admitting that they had done something wrong was probably for the better.

@georgiana He was somewhat glad that his sister decided for the both of them. The inability to think about anything other than the piercing was strong right now. That was better than forgetting about it, like he just had. Lance figured that was going to go on for a few days, maybe a week max. Eventually it would become another extension of his body, similar to a backpack or something. It was strange that wearing a bag on his back would end up feeling more natural than not having one there. Going out and about with it on was like not wearing a part of his outfit. He felt naked almost. Today he hadn’t had the time nor the need to bring one with him, but the lip ring was taking its place, and would until he decided he had enough of it and took it out. For the time being though, it was now another part of who he was. He was hoping it would add a little personality to him. Having a story about breaking out of the orphanage, robbing a man blind, and then getting his lip pierced would go down in history for years to come. “Works for me,” Lance agreed. A smoothie couldn’t cost more than a Sickle, could it? That would be like highway robbery. Lance simply shook his head as Georgie said that they would meet back up after getting their food to discuss their exit strategy for all of this. There was no way it would go unnoticed, especially with the additional metal on his face now. “I was planning on being straight with them about it,” he shrugged. “But yeah. Meet here in ten?” Lance took his Sickle and headed towards the smoothie place. Most of that time was going to be spent staring at the menu. They probably had a couple dozen flavors. The question was, which one did he want to remember the pain of his new piercing with? [OOC: we'll keep it going for the sanctity of the AC]

Lance agreed to her plan, which was good, because Georgie was a touch too lazy to bother thinking of a new one if he objected. He said that he was going to be straight with the orphanage staff about what they had done, and Georgie shrugged. That made the whole ‘making up an excuse’ thing easier. And they had already lied quite a lot for one day, with the pickpocketing and everything. If they did get punished, it wasn’t like there was much that the orphanage could do. They could keep them from going to the next sanctioned trip, but the joy of getting the entire building to themselves would almost negate the disappointment of being cooped up while everyone else was outside. Georgie was left to ponder the ramifications on her own when Lance entered the smoothie shop, though she nodded before her brother left to show that she had heard him ask if they were reconvening in ten minutes. She could just as well ponder her punishment in line, though, and since Georgie already knew what she wanted, she wasted no time in getting in the long line to order fish and chips. Practically everyone in front of her was getting her same meal, which meant that there was a chance that she would have to wait even longer while they cooked a fresh batch. Georgie sighed. She was not feeling the Hufflepuff patience today, because she was hungry.
Luckily, she managed to squeak by without having to wait for anything to finish frying, though the person behind her in line wasn’t so lucky. Georgie stuffed the few Knuts she had received in change in the pocket of her robes and then accepted the cone of fish and chips. She had watched them salt the chips liberally, so she knew she wouldn’t have any problem with blandness. Luckily, the place had free cups for water, so she wasn’t going to end up horribly dehydrated from all of the salt and grease. Georgie grabbed one and filled it to the brim before exiting the store and returning to the appointed meeting place, searching the crowd for her brother.

@georgiana He had spent at least half of the appointed time to get food staring at the list of smoothies. The cashier’s patience was probably wearing a little thin at this point, because he was also the only customer in there. His neck was arched in an uncomfortable position, courtesy of the odd angle that the menu was hanging at above the order station. How could there possibly be this many kinds of smoothies? Deciding on one in ten minutes seemed almost impossible. There were standard flavors – ones that he had seen back in the States and in muggle parts of London, and then there were the typical magical flavors. Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Smoothie? No thanks. Lance preferred not to be subjected to a potential maelstrom in his mouth, should his smoothie turn out to be an earwax and charcoal flavored combination. He had already been adventurous enough today when it came to getting the lip piercing and robbing a man.
Finally he came to the conclusion that a strawberry and banana smoothie was the way to go, and ordered one. The cashier had been tapping their foot on the floor impatiently the whole time, and Lance couldn’t help but think that it was unnecessary. That was their job, right? He would have killed to have a summer job that allowed him to make a little money for himself and Georgie. The Sickle he had was more than enough, and thanking the worker upon getting his drink, he exited the store. Lance was almost positive that he had a few minutes to spare until he was supposed to meet his sister again, and taking a quick glance at the fish and chips place, he could tell that she would need the remaining time. Not that they were in a rush or anything. At this point, they had the rest of the day to kill time if they wanted to. If their absence had been noticed at the orphanage already, then it wouldn’t really matter when they came back, as long as it was by dinner. Leaning up against a wall where he had a clear sightline of the store Georgie was in, Lance took a small sip of his drink. The first bit that touched his mouth stung slightly, which he had anticipated would happen, but the numbing cold of it set in almost immediately after that. Sweet, sweet relief.

Finding Lance in a crowd proved harder than Georgie had originally thought. Even though there weren’t that many people, everyone that was there was an adult, and Georgie was suddenly acutely aware of the fact that she was a solid four inches shorter than most of the people in the alley. Just when she was about to get frantic, Georgie noticed that Lance was right across from the store where she had purchased her food, leaning against a wall and sipping on his smoothie. He looked thoroughly engrossed in his smoothie, and if Georgie had to guess, it was because he was trying to find a way to drink it without accidentally irritating his lip piercing. That didn’t matter, though, because Georgie had found him. She hurried across the street, and sat down next to his feet, leaning her back against the wall. She sat the plastic cup of water on the ground next to her and balanced the cone with the fish and chips between her knees for a moment while she straightened herself out. This probably wasn’t the most sanitary place to enjoy her meal, but the fish and chips were practically street food, so whether or not the area was sanitary was beside the point. “What flavor did you get?” Georgie asked, glancing at her brother’s muddy pink smoothie before biting into the first of the chips. It was still extremely hot, and Georgie shifted the cone of fish so she was holding it in one hand, using the other hand to fan her mouth rapidly. Despite the heat, Georgie didn’t spit the chip out – she was dedicated to it, and it was good, both perfectly cooked and perfectly salted. Britons sometimes seemed to have a hard time with the concept of flavoring, except for when it came to fish and chips. Georgie swallowed one, and considered the rest of the cone before popping another chip in her mouth. The results were similar, with the fried potato immediately scalding her tongue, but once again, Georgie determined that the food was definitely worth the burns she was giving her tongue. Georgie suddenly remembered the water and took a gulp of it, which had the immediate effect of cooling her mouth. “I’m surprised no one’s asked us where our parents are.” Georgie added idly. They were old enough that it wasn’t alarming that they were alone, but people still tended to get touchy when they saw teenagers on their own.

@georgiana The best part about the smoothie wasn’t the first sip, nor the second. It was the fact that he could take a sip, hold the chilled liquid between his bottom lip and teeth, and relish in the icy wonderland that it created in his mouth. Turning his mouth into a numbed mess made him realize that he needed to make this smoothie last. There was no way he would be able to get one again for a while once they returned to the orphanage, and he certainly didn’t have enough money on him to snag another before they went home. The time he had with this smoothie would be short, but quite possibly one of his greatest memories of all time by the end of it. Who would have guessed that frozen liquid fruits would save him from his pain in this manner? Taking another small sip of it, so as to not drink it too fast, Lance held it up against the inside of his lip once again. As he did so, he watched as Georgie suddenly appeared in front of him through the crowd and eventually took a seat next to him on the ground. He continued to swirl the liquid around in his mouth until it became warm, finally swallowing it only to answer his sister’s question. “Strawberry and banana,” he said cautiously, hoping it wouldn’t hurt to talk this time. There was a little twinge of pain, but nowhere close to what it had been like earlier. The smoothie was working!
Lance continued to take another sip of the smoothie every couple of minutes or so, now fully engrossed with watching the crowd walk by as Georgie worked on her food. Diagon Alley was the same as always in the summer; bustling, hot, and way too packed for his liking. Even though school had just ended, he was more than positive that he had seen signs on some of the shop windows indicating sales on supplies. Too bad they didn’t have direct access to their money right now, or else he would be dragging Georgie around to get their things for the next year at a significantly lower price. Money was going to be everything in two short years, and saving as much as possible was important if he wanted to get his own place and bring Georgie with him. The orphanage couldn’t hold onto them forever. Lance was snapped out of his thoughts as his sister commented on the fact that they hadn’t been asked about their parents yet. He simply nodded his head, still watching the masses move by. “Figure it has something to do with the term just ending,” he mused. “I’ve seen at least a half-dozen people I know on their own already.” Lance was positive they hadn’t seen him, but he had seen them for sure. An encounter with a classmate would be an interesting way to talk about the new piece of bling on his face. He was sure that was going to be a hot topic for a while upon returning to Hogwarts. Who had ever heard of a Hufflepuff with a lip ring?

It took Lance more than a little while to answer her question about what flavor the smoothie was, and Georgie watched intently. She could see the muscles of his mouth twitching, but she couldn’t figure out why until she saw his throat bob in a swallow. He had been swishing the smoothie around in his mouth, if she had to take a guess. That was smart, since he had gotten the drink for its chilling powers. Sipping it like normal would have been all well and good, but it wouldn’t have maximized the effects of the chilliness. Lance said that he had gotten a strawberry and banana smoothie, and Georgie nodded her head in approval. She didn’t know why it looked like such a strange color – maybe it was the angle she was looking at it from? – but she had been a little worried that the color had indicated that it was some sort of dragonfruit-lychee-gauva mess. Georgie didn’t have a clue what any of those fruits tasted like, but she could see all of them being thrown together just to create the most pretentious sounded smoothie in existence.
Lance seemed to like watching the people in the alley. His focus was elsewhere. Normally Georgie would have begrudged him that, but since he had just had something forcibly poked through his lip partially because of her goading, she would let him have this time. He said that the fact that school had just ended probably had something to do with the lack of scrutiny, and Georgie nodded, popping another chip into her mouth. The food was starting to cool down, which was good, since Georgie was beginning to feel a bit of the summer heat. She hoped that she didn’t get sunburned – normally she was fine for a couple minutes at a time, but the Hufflepuff had to admit that she was more than a little pale and burned easily. “Thank Merlin I haven’t seen that many people I know.” Georgie muttered. She hated interacting with most people from school. The only one she would maybe want to see was Max, and that was still a big maybe since her friend always seemed to insist on buying her things when they went shopping together. “Good job being antisocial like me.” Georgie added. She figured Lance hadn’t talked to anyone, since their classmates had a habit of making the simplest conversation unnecessarily long, and if Lance had gotten roped into talking to someone, he would probably still be there, instead of beside her.

@georgiana Lance snorted as his sister stated she was glad that she hadn’t seen anyone she knew yet. Since he hadn’t been planning on talking much after the piercing was done, he was also kind of happy about not encountering anyone he knew. There were already going to be tons of questions about the piercing later today when they finally returned to the orphanage, and definitely when school started back up again. He wanted a few moments of peace and quiet from it all. Georgie had done a good job about it so far. It was probably pretty obvious that it hurt, considering he was talking slowly and wincing every now and again. The smoothie was continuing to chill it out though, so the last few sentences had been a lot easier than he had thought they would be. Hopefully that was a sign that it would be a quick healing process. He smiled slightly, despite the tiny stab of pain, as Georgie added that he was doing a good job at being antisocial as well. That wasn’t too hard when he didn’t want to talk. “Even I need a break from being a Hufflepuff sometimes.” And lord he knew that. There were times that he wondered if being an American and their common tropes was what ended up with him and Georgie both in the house. Talking to people and getting around conversations did come naturally to him, but it wasn’t like he enjoyed doing either of those 24/7 like some of his housemates. He was pretty sure the same could be said for his sister. Lance wanted to say that it wasn’t too hard to be like her, but he knew it wouldn’t roll off the tongue as easily as it sounded in his head. “That’s what school is for though. Being social.” He took another sip of his smoothie. “And right now is summer, so screw all that.”

Georgie laughed louder than she had all day when her brother said that he needed a break from being a Hufflepuff. She was pretty sure that she was absolutely the worst Hufflepuff when it came to being nice and sweet and social. Lance ought to consider himself lucky that she liked him, otherwise she probably would have abandoned him a long time ago. As far as Hufflepuff traits went, Georgie really only had the ‘loyalty’ part down-pat. If anyone tried to hurt her people, there would be hell to pay. But her people only included Lance and Max, so it was pretty damn difficult for most people to see that. No one was rude enough to tell Georgie that she didn’t belong in Hufflepuff, but she was pretty sure that was what most of them were thinking. “I bet even Helga Hufflepuff needed a break from being a Hufflepuff.” She told him. Even the most extroverted of people needed down time sometimes, otherwise they got all huffy and angry. Georgie saw that way too often – their house mates would push themselves to the limit of their niceness and then be a storm when they got back to the dormitories and could be by themselves a little bit. Lance said that school was for being social, and Georgie shrugged, biting into a piece of her fish. She wasn’t going to become any more social when they got back to school, unless someone gave her a really good reason to. “Screw the world when it’s summertime.” Georgie repeated with a snort, taking another bite of fish. “Good life advice, Lance.” Georgie licked the grease off her fingers. She was down to her last piece of fish, and from the slowness of his sips, Lance wasn’t intending on finishing the smoothie before they left the alley. Georgie considered eating overly slowly so they could stay out as long as possible, but at this point she was only delaying the inevitable. She took another bite of fish, savoring the silence and the last minutes of alone time with her brother.

@georgiana If Helga Hufflepuff needed a break from being herself, then that meant all Hufflepuff’s should be allowed it from time to time. It wasn’t like they were supposed to be pigeon holed into their house traits – if anything, that was simply a basis for sorting them, and from there they were expected to grow. Lance tried not to smile at that thought, knowing that he had discovered the grand secret of Hogwarts. Too many students fell to the ideologies and vices of their houses; Gryffindor and Slytherin being some of the worst offenders, though Ravenclaw wasn’t that far off at times. As for Hufflepuff? Lance like to think they just went with the flow. Wherever the wind took them was where they ended up. Maybe it was a little too laissez-faire at times. He knew he could be one of the worst of them all at times, but the fact remained that he was aware of his identity outside of Hufflepuff. Not many of his housemates could say the same. Grinning as Georgie imitated his feelings about social interactions outside of school, Lance took another sip of his smoothie. It was going to be a while before he finished it, especially if he continued at the same pace that he had been going at. “I try,” he grinned. Noting that his sister was getting close to finishing her fish, he stayed silent for the remainder of her meal. There was solace in watching crowds walk by without any interference. It happened on occasion at the orphanage, but never to this extent. Another kid would always interrupt it eventually. “Ready when you are,” he finally muttered after biting down on his straw. They needed to go back eventually since the orphanage was home. Someday they wouldn’t have to do that, and Lance was looking forward to it. [Go ahead and end :3 ]
