open! <3 The first week of her grand opening had gone very well. Celia had decided that she had taken a good chance in opening the store in Hogsmeade instead of in London. With all of the students there on the weekends she had plenty of business and many sales; especially from all of the teenage girls. A few guys had been dragged in along with their partners and Celia could tell a lot of them were shocked to see the men's side of her store. She liked to surprise people in that way and thought it brought in a lot more people to buy.
It was fairly later in the day now, mid afternoon and the rush of lunch time had definitely tired her out. Celia didn't get many breaks herself during the day especially when her cashier's were off or didn't come in during certain hours. Thankfully there was only a person here and there in the store currently, so it gave her some time to fix any clothing that had fallen or become unfolded in the process of teenagers filing in and out. She ended up at a table with men's shirts flown around everywhere and she sighed but kept that smile on her face.

@jill10 Hogsmeade day! The greatest of days of the week. That meant she could do whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted, and more than likely get away with it. Having students all over the place in Hogsmeade allowed her to skip around to the different stores, pestering owners and friends alike, however she saw fit. A good portion of the morning had been spent hunting down Adrian, but her super alert nose didn’t indicate that he was around the town anywhere. There were other Greybacks here and there, as usual, but none of them were her Greyback. If she didn’t find Adrian by the end of the day then she’d tag along with one of them instead. They were all equally fun and enjoyable in their own rights.
Whistling to herself as she made her way down the street, Lily eventually came across a store that she didn’t recognize. The sign read ‘C’est La Vie’. That was French right? She knew English, obviously, and had worked on her German over the last year, so it couldn’t be either of those. The outside of the shop didn’t really indicate what kind of store it was though, and curiosity getting the better of her, Lily headed towards the door and stepped inside. Upon entering, she was surprised to see that it was a clothing store, and rather nice stuff at that. She didn’t really care about super fancy clothes, more content with stuff that was breathable and easy to move around in, but some of the clothes in here were still pretty nice. Walking towards the closest table with clothes on it, Lily flipped through a few pairs of pants. They were reasonably priced, which considering her family, was probably more than most could say. Still, it was quite an interesting store to have in Hogsmeade, especially considering it looked like it would fit in on a muggle street.

This was shaping up to be an interesting day at Hogsmeade indeed. After following her sister to an extremely sketchy not sketchy meeting, Jamie had exited the Three Broomsticks with a lot on her mind. Normally she liked to digest that kind of stuff for a little longer than a few minutes, but she was worried that, due the circumstances of the Hogsmeade trip (and who she wasn't going to be seeing today) it would just drag her down into a dark place that she didn't want to be in. Jamie was walking down the streets of Hogsmeade once again when she realized that one of the shops was different. Considering most of the shops she frequented were at least a decade old, that threw Jamie for a loop. She was debating whether or not she was going to go in, when a flash of red hair confirmed her choice. Lily was going to be inside, which meant that there was an adventure to be had. Since she didn't have any other plans for the rest of the day - and she had just been thinking about how little she saw Lily at Hogsmeade - Jamie followed her sister inside. "Lily!" She called out as she stepped inside. Jamie grimaced a little to herself when she realized that this place likely wasn't accepting of loud voices, and then slunk a little further inside, eyeing the woman who was near the men's shirt table, in case she was going to be reprimanded for her inappropriate volume.

The bell above the door rang as it opened, and Celia waited a moment before she turned to see yet another red head. There were many of them here, which she found slightly amusing. It was either a very common hair color among this generation, or they were all related in some way. The girl made her way to the pants section of the store, and Celia folded a few more shirts quickly. A song was playing over the speakers quietly, loud enough to hear but soft enough that speaking in a normal tone was feasible. Celia knew it seemed unusual to have a store such as this in Hogsmeade of all places, but she was able to keep an eye on her youngest cousin as well as do what she loved nearby Hogwarts. But the even more positive thing was the decently priced items and the good quality of it all.
As she turned around to go speak to the red headed student, another girl bounced it, shouting the name Lily. Celia's eyes widened slightly, assuming that was the first girl's name. The blonde quickly moved closer to Lily, and Celia laughed quietly to herself. Putting down a shirt, she walked over to the two of them with a smile on her face and her hands in her pockets. "Hello you two! Welcome to C'est La Vie. Is there anything I can help you find?"

@jill10 & @jamie Lily had managed to find a pair of pants that she kind of liked, amongst the numerous piles of them on the table in front of her, when she heard the bell from the door jingle open behind her. There hadn’t been too many other people in the store when she bounced in, so she didn’t think much of looking back towards the door when the new person came in, even though the bell jingle basically screamed at her to pay attention. And she finally did when it was accompanied by her name being shouted over the top of the music. Her head whipped around to see Jamie standing before her. She thought she would have noticed sooner, but the music and smell of the store seemed to mask all that wolfiness that they tended to give off. Interesting. Definitely a way to hide if she ever needed to. “Jamie!” Lily reciprocated with a half-yell, enough to get a few heads to turn. She hadn’t really needed to yell since they were only a few feet away from each other, but where was the fun in that? “I didn’t know you were in Hogsmeade today. Was it for Will?” Lily couldn’t think of any other reason for Jamie to be wandering around on her own at this point in the day. Well, she wasn’t alone anymore!
Just after finishing her question, a woman approached them from a little ways away. Lily vaguely recalled seeing her standing to the side when she had entered, but didn’t really think much of it. “Hi!” She responded happily as the woman welcomed them to the store. That meant she was a worker, right? Lily looked at Jamie, then down to the pants in her hands, and then back to the woman before deciding that she did need help after all. “Is that the changing room in the back?” Lily inquired, noting that there was a sign above it that practically said it was one. “Because I’m definitely going to need to try these on after the Christmas I had this year.” Laughing at her own, awful joke, she went off in the direction of the changing without hearing the woman’s answer. “I’ll just leave you two to chit-chat away while I have a wrestling match with these lovelies!”
[OOC: figured you two could get a few posts in between while I'm off in Puerto Rico until Sunday So Lily is gonna be in the changing room for a little bit haha]

Jamie smiled to herself when Lily yelled in return, even though the distance between them that had necessitated a yell in the first place was closed. Leave it to her sister to seem happy about something that was, by all accounts, an everyday occurrence. When Lily said that she hadn’t expected Jamie to come to Hogsmeade, the Hufflepuff shrugged. Even when she wasn’t doing anything, she’d rather be doing nothing in the village than at the Hogsmeade. “Will and I broke up.” Jamie told Lily softly. “I’ll tell you later.” It wasn’t something Jamie was trying to make horribly public, especially considering how short-lived the relationship was and the reason for the breakup. When the woman came over to ask them if they needed anything, Jamie let Lily answer first, since she had something in her hands and was more likely to actually end up being a customer. Jamie smiled a little at Lily’s comment about Christmas – Jamie hadn’t gotten Lily clothing, though, just a book, so she couldn’t even say that it was wrong.
When Lily left for the dressing room, Jamie turned to the saleswoman that had been assisting them. “I’m not here to buy anything.” She said, slightly awkwardly. “I just came in to see Lily. I’m Jamie, by the way.” Jamie added, since she was referring to her sister by name already.

The red head, Lily, was full of joy. That was Celia's first observation of her at least. "Yes, the changing room's are right there. My name is Celia, just let me know if you need any changes!" She laughed at the young girl's joke and turned to look at the blonde next to her. CC was under the impression that she'd be getting to know a lot of the faces that came into her boutique, especially those whom were students. If they liked her clothes, it was a great reason to splurge your money every weekend.
"It's nice to meet you, Jamie! And that's perfectly alright." She laughed. The two reminded her of herself and Eleanor. "I'm assuming you both go to Hogwarts? Are you in the same house?" Celia smiled brightly. Most of the students didn't wear their school robes to Hogsmeade, since they were allowed to dress in their regular clothes. She always took advantage of that, especially wearing some items that she had sewn up herself in her free time from classes. "If you are to change your mind on buying anything, though, I have a wonderful blouse in mind that would look amazing on you."

Jamie nodded when the woman – Celia – directed Lily to the changing rooms. Even if that information wasn’t useful to her, the woman’s name was. Jamie liked knowing the names of the people she was talking to, which was why name tags were her favorite invention ever. Normally Lily was better at this sort of socializing thing, since she had exactly zero inhibitions, but Jamie liked to believe that she was charming in her own way.
Celia said that it was nice to meet her, and Jamie’s shoulders slumped a little in relief when Celia said it was fine that she wasn’t planning on buying anything. Some stores got snooty when they learned that someone wasn’t intending to buy, and it was nice not to be kicked out immediately upon hearing those words. “Yes, we’re both at Hogwarts, but we’re in different houses. I’m in Hufflepuff, and Lily’s in Gryffindor. We know each other through my brother.” Jamie added, in case Celia was wondering how the two girls happened to meet when they were in two houses and a year apart. “Unfortunately, it’s not by choice. I’m broke.” Jamie said, forcing a laugh so it wouldn’t be so awkward to admit her financial situation. “Maybe I’ll come back some day when I actually have a Knut to my name.”

Oh, so totally like her and Eleanor. Granted, Cyrus wasn't her brother but he was close enough. Her actual brother was out of Hogwarts now, too, only leaving the youngest of the four of them still there. "That's wonderful. I have a cousin still going there, she's a sixth year Ravenclaw. Claiborne Ellsworth? My brother graduated two years ago, so I'm not sure if you two would know him." Hogwarts was a large school, and the two girls here now were in houses that neither Celia, Cyrus or Claiborne had been in.
Celia gave Jamie a small smile. She knew what it was like to have no money, especially while still in school. They had no way to actually make money since they couldn't work. CC rarely was able to get anything unless her parent's gave her money, but they wanted to teach her what it was like to not have everything handed to you and to make your way up to the top. She did so, and was grateful for that life lesson, but still felt for the blonde in front of her. "Well whenever you do have some money, your first purchase here is 20% off."

Celia said that she still had a cousin at Hogwarts, and Jamie bobbed her head as she listened. “I don’t think I know her…” Jamie said, trailing off. She didn’t have many friends in other houses besides Gryffindor, and of course the people she knew through Quidditch, but she wasn’t sure if Claiborne played. “You might want to ask Lily when she comes back though.” Jamie suggested. Since Lily was in the same year as Celia’s cousin, she was more likely to know the other girl. Then again, Jamie didn’t know whether or not Lily was friends with many Ravenclaws.
When Celia said that Jamie’s first purchase at the store was twenty percent off, Jamie was stunned. “I – thank you.” She stuttered out. “Hopefully that’ll be soon.” She added. “I’m graduating this May.” Jamie said proudly. And she was hoping – praying, really – that when the springtime came, she would be able to impress a talent scout enough to get an offer to be on a Quidditch team. Even if she wasn’t going to be making a lot of money right off the bat, Jamie wouldn’t mind coming back to C’est La Vie to repay a little kindness.

Celia laughed with a little wave of her hand. "Oh that's quite alright. She can be a quiet one sometimes." She wasn't sure which year the two girls were but assumed they were of the older bunch. Though Celia could be wrong as well. There were many times that people thought Eleanor was much younger. And Lily and Jamie both looked like they could pass as fourth or fifth years if they dressed down a bit to match. Celia knew her and Eleanor might've tried that. "I'll make sure to ask her."
"Oh of course!" Celia had learned long ago in France that when you have lower prices, your clothing sells quicker. Even if it is amazing clothing, if it is way too expensive, many people can't imagine spending so much on one pair of jeans. And while in Paris she always had deals going on and coupons for people to use to be able to buy more for less. "That's exciting! Any plans for afterwards?" She winked and laughed.

Quiet one? Generally those were the ones that Jamie liked to pay attention to more, since few others would, but being pulled into the whirlwind that was the Gryffindor sphere of influence had made it more difficult for her to do that lately. “If you get the chance, you might want to ask Claiborne about us, too.” Jamie said. She didn’t mean to toot her own horn, but most people had heard of her, mostly because of Quidditch or her family.
Plans for after school…well, that was complicated, even if it seemed straightforward. “Well, it all depends on how spring scouting goes.” Jamie said with a nervous laugh. “I really want to be a Chaser for the Holyhead Harpies, but I’m not sure whether or not they’d want me. If that falls through, I have a fairly good hand for potions. And if I really need anything…” Jamie sighed. “I could ask my siblings, but I don’t like to do that to them.” And then there was her mother, but Jamie would like having to ask her mother for help even less.

Her eyes widened a bit at her comment on asking Claiborne if she knew Jamie and Lily. She would the next time she saw her, but she wasn't sure when that would be. As far as Celia knew, Claiborne was still in the dark about her cousin being back. But she was sure she'd find out soon enough with her new boutique not that far away and from Eleanor. Celia still needed to pay Cyrus a visit, but whenever he wasn't busy was most likely her best option.
Jamie spoke, and Celia grinned. So she wanted to play Quidditch! Now that Celia got a better look at her, she had the build of a player as well. "I'm sure they'll want you." Celia smiled. "My cousin Cyrus Ellsworth plays Keeper for the Appleby Arrows. From what he's said, most of the teams are always looking for extra people in case of fall outs or people getting hurt." It was good that Jamie had other plans behind this one though; she knew many people who didn't unfortunately, and sometimes they ended up in worse places than when they started. "I'm sure if you need it your siblings would always help. I would for my brother."

Jamie shrugged. She hoped that people wanted her, but hanging her hat on her skills and not trying her hardest to get noticed wasn’t something that she was willing to do. “I know of him.” Jamie said, nodding when Celia mentioned her cousin. The Arrows weren’t a team that Jamie had really considered joining…but if she was honest, the Harpies were the only team that she really, really wanted to join. When it came to the subject of her siblings, Jamie sighed. “I know that they would, but I want to be their sister, not their burden to bear.” Jamie said, unsure whether or not she was making any sense. “Besides, I’m one of the oldest. I’m supposed to be taking care of them, not the other way around.” Because really, it was Max who was always trying to give her things or offer her mother as a stand in, and while Jamie appreciated that, she didn’t want the youngest Greyback to feel like Jamie needed any help. And when she got to be a Quidditch player, and had a salary, anyone could bet that Jamie was going to be spoiling all of her siblings rotten. She just had to hold on a little bit longer.

That was the one person Celia had assumed that Jamie would know of. Cyrus was on a team with very well known players, mostly because of their last names and their parents, but he was even one who had a famous last name. Celia had gone to many of his games, not all, but most of them and there were always an insanely large amount of people. "I will say it's good that you have back up plans. Some things work out and some don't, and it shows that you've thought outside of the box into every possibility." Celia smiled, glancing over to the dressing rooms. Lily hadn't asked for her help yet, so Celia assumed she was doing fairly well with the clothes she was trying on now. "I know how you feel. I've only got my younger brother and I feel like I should be the one taking care of him. But...sometimes you had to let other people take care of you. It's a good feeling."
