Maria didn't really get this whole 'dating' thing. She liked Viola. More then she'd liked anyone else, but it was still such a foreign concept. Saying Viola was more then just someone she liked to chase, or a friend with benefits. Because Viola wasn't either of those. But what were they then? That was the real question. What did being Maria's partner really mean? Sure, Maria knew what to do, it wasn't that much different then what she did with most people. But she didn't really... get it. If that made sense. It was this extreme confuse that had brought Maria out to the lake today, to try and make some sense of it all. With a heavy sigh, she ran her fingers through her hair and plopped down on the snow covered grass near the end of the lake. She didn't feel the cold at all beneath that heavy and thick coat that was part of the Durmstrang uniform. She could be out here for hours before she'd really feel the effects of the weather.
Obviously Maria didn't sit there for hours. She'd been staring straight out at the lake for only ten minutes when she heard the crunch of snow behind her and turned her head to see who it was. Elias, probably. Or Viola. When she saw who it was those both eyebrows rose high and a broad grin appeared. "Are you coming to join me, Margaux?"
