Robert Hudson had more information on Anton Laporte than Neville did—understandably so. As an active Auror and a field agent, he would have kept up with the specifics moreso than Neville, who was not active and tended to be brought in on large cases rather than being assigned single suspects. He also had a picture for them to look at. Neville looked at the picture for a moment before Banishing it to his small office down the hallway outside, where he would collect it for later when he returned to Hogwarts. Most of the Order members seemed most concerned about the safety of Hogwarts, which Neville believed was the right attitude to have. Unfortunately, the Order of the Phoenix only ever became active when the Ministry would not or could not take action, which meant that their own actions were throttled by that same Ministry. They could act in secret, but providing aid for Hogwarts…that would be more of a challenge. In the meantime, Harry would do what he could. Including, it seemed, bringing Draco Malfoy into things. It was the right call, and Neville would be seeking out the patriarch of the Malfoy family directly after this meeting. But his thoughts were derailed when Selliah mentioned that Ian Owens boasted about escaping and killing children. Harry’s children. His children.
Magic is thought made real, a combination of willpower and intent. Because of this, it was possible to feel when a witch or wizard was building power for a spell, and to a slight degree, what they were using the spell to do. The more experienced a wizard, the better they were at sensing subtle buildups. But almost anyone could feel it to a degree, particularly when the intent was strong. And at Selliah’s words, the air in the room turned oppressive almost immediately. It was as though the Order had suddenly Apparated into the midst of four angry dragons. Harry, Neville, Hermione, and Ginny were all capable of putting out a murderous intent that dwarfed most other people, due to their experiences and magical skill. Ron and Hannah, who weren’t in the room, could do it too. With the exception of Hannah, they had fought on the front lines longer than most people before Voldemort’s fall, and after that last battle, these three couples and their children had endured more danger and withstood more attacks from desperate Death Eaters than anyone else. To say they were experienced in war was an understatement, and only now was that fact made abundantly clear to every single person in the room. But Neville and Harry’s fury dwarfed that of Hermione and Ginny. Both of them had lost their parents, a chance at a happy childhood, to the Death Eaters. Both had been mistreated by those charged with their care, though in very different ways. Hermione and Ginny could be angry, but they had never experienced the dark hell of isolation, of believing you were unnecessary in the world, that nobody needed you. And because of this, their fury was nearly palpable. Though they didn’t direct their anger at anyone in the room, it was all too easy to look over at the pair of Gryffindors and see instead two demons seeking death and destruction.
Neville actually turned toward the fireplace and had taken three steps before Harry’s voice cut through the red haze in his mind. He paused, looking back at Harry, silently communicating with him. It would be better to just kill Ian now, before he could go anywhere. He was never going to be of any aid to them, which meant he was only a threat as long as he lived. Finally, though, Harry won, and Neville walked back over to stand at his side again. He looked over at Selliah, and when he spoke, his voice was the cold, authoritative voice of a wartime leader, of a senior Auror who expected his orders to be followed and could almost compel you to obey. The warmth and kindness usually associated with Professor Longbottom was gone, and if anyone had been wondering why he was in the Order at all, nevermind standing beside its leader, there likely wasn’t now. “Owens is mad enough to try. In addition to patrols, put constant surveillance on the kids when leaving the Hogwarts grounds for any reason. Ours, and Hermione’s too, they’ll be on that bastard’s hit list. Keep tabs on the Scamander twins too, just to be safe.” He turned to look at Harry. This was an issue of numbers. The adults didn’t have the free time or numbers to watch all the children at once, so they had to find other ways around it. Consolidating everyone in one place seemed to be the best option.
“Should we gather them up at the Cauldron during holidays? After what I did to the last Death Eaters that tried to kidnap Alice, I don’t think they’ll attack there.” Neville had used the Blood Rose on the poor fools who had tried to take his six-month-old baby girl. They had died in pure agony, as the seeds drained their blood and the vines of the rose bushes formed along the veins and arteries of their bodies. And Neville had purposely kept them from passing out so they experienced every last second until their death. He’d left a single survivor to go to Azkaban, so he was certain every single prisoner knew what he would do to them if they tried it. It was an effective scare tactic—until tonight, he’d never caught so much as a hint that his children were threatened.
Then there was the last option. “Or we could bring them here. I’m already in a good position to let them in on the secret.”

Ginny was on fire.
As soon as she heard the word about her children being threatened, she had forgotten everything else the meeting had been about up to that point. All she could see now was red hot fury, burning through her blood and sharpening her vision. She left Teddys side, and swiftly moved to Harrys side, linking her arm through his and clasping tightly. She waited until Harry and Neville had finished speaking before letting her own words flow out, "I think we should bring them here. I trust this manor more than anything, they have every right to know the details of what's going on and know about the Order." She didn't expect an agreeing reaction on those words, but she meant every one of them. When they were kids, her and Harry and the others knew all about the Order but were left out of the meetings. When it came down to it, the children, as they were at the time, were the ones doing a lot of the work and should have been included from the very beginning. Though they had their own thing going, with Dumbledores Army and all, they still should have been better informed of the Orders doings. Ginny felt very strongly about this.
She also felt very protective over other peoples children. As she glanced around the room her eyes fell on several people who she knew had kids of their own. When she made contact with Teddy, she felt a strong pang in her stomach. "If the arse finds out that any of you are helping us, your own children will be in danger as well," she found herself relieved that the majority of the order didn't have their own children at this time, it made for less worry and heartache potential. She made eye contact with Teddy once more and sighed, "Teddy, you are as good as our son in the Wizarding Worlds eyes," she knew that he wouldn't be happy about what she had to say but it was necessary, "you have to be even more on your guard. Or better yet, you need protecting." She spoke firmly and hotly, daring anyone to question her request at giving the grown man protection.
As she made eye contact with Victoire for a short moment, she could imagine all the terrible things these villains could do with her. Being so close to the minster and a part of the family tree they hated so much, this would prove to be very dangerous for her as well. Not too mention Sam Lockhart with his parentage, the villains would take notice. Ginny was starting to mentally assign body guards for every 'youngster' in the room, but they all ended up being in one big jumble of bodyguards over each other which would mean they could never leave the same room as a whole Order. No, best to only focus on a few for now.
She turned to Selliah with a compassionate look, "if he threatened you personally then I don't like you being on your own either, Selliah." Ginny was showing her 'mother hen' of the group side, and she wasn't the least bit embarrassed by that. Every person here was family to her, and there was no way that she could let any one of them get hurt. Even if she had to march up to Ian Owens and kill him herself. Which, as of right now, seemed like a pretty good idea.

He was sitting on a chair and watching everyone speak some he knew who they were others he knew just their job or position, and of course like with everyone he examined them to see if they were a security threat. It was what his mind normally did, it was operated to at once start to break someone down and determine if they posed a threat not to him but the Minister and the Ministry. Unless one of them is plotting political munity of the Minister, its good thought Argus however his eyes turned to Neville who started explaining one of the other people Harry had mentioned was back in the country, Anton Laporte as well as Fenrir Greyback. Then his eyes went to Rob as he spoke more about the man named Anton which now Argus had made the mental note to contact the IA as soon as he could for any more information, the man sounded exactly like a threat to the Minister. Greyback was however not so much a threat, just a beast that needed to be put down and out of its misery. Can this get worse thought Argus and it seemed he spoke to soon as he watched on of the younger Aurors Selliah speak about her recent encounter with Owens at Azkaban.
Almost at right he was leaning in off his chair, compete more focused now. Owens was a threat to many people, and even a few of them were under AG protection something normally not allowed considering they weren’t all Ministry officials. However, Argus ran his unit the way he felt needed, and that was stopping Owens from killing anyone. The more the man kills, the more his insanity will grow and so will his confidencethought Argus, and his eyes were on Harry, Ginny, Hermione, and Neville as Selliah spoke that Owens had threanted to kill their children, to kill them all. He waited as Harry and Neville both spoke, he could almost feel the anger coming from both the dad’s, Neville was one he surely did not want to get on the bad side. Also to top it off, Harry even said that Ezra took credit for the poisoning of some families members of high ranking Ministry officials that solved one case for him but brought a new threat, Ezra was more dangerous now than before, before it was just information and blackmailing now he would attempt to kill. His mind was starting to race on what actions he needed to take now, part of him wanted to throw the Minister in some safe house underground in hole to focus on other stuff. A soft groan escaped his mouth and rubbed his head ”And this is why I drink” he muttered under his breath, not fully meaning to say it at all, but his job just got much harder.
” I’ll place an Advanced Guard member to monitor Sean Owens when he leaves Hogwarts as well. He, Alyssa Nigintgale, and her kids will be his two top targets if he escapes. I’ll have to start taking steps to protect the Minister and the Ministry as well. I’ll look into any outside connections he may have with people, including his guards. spoke Argus his voice was calm and cool, not letting his emotions get to him. He did not have kids however, he felt anger for these people that Owens said he was going to kill their kids. ”I’m more concerned with the safety of the kids if he does escape, are any of us sure what mental state Headmaster Reynolds will be in if this happens? With killings right now at the school, do we trust Reynolds wouldn’t provoke an attack on Hogwarts” asked Argus, for it was starting to become a question in his head that the Headmaster would try to provoke or go after if Owens escaped. His mind started racing back to Ezra and Harry mentioning a letter he wrote to him taking responsibility for the poisons. ”Harry you say Ezra wrote you, what did he say, anything else?” asked Argus looking right at the Head Auror. Why did I agree to this damn job thought Argus as he waited for people’s responses.

Nate was in the comfort of his small cubicle located on the second level of the Ministry of Magic. It was relatively quiet within the cozy space that was his office and Nate had his eyes fixated on an article from The Daily Prophet. It had been a time of urgent emergency in the wizarding law enforcement and with everything that was going on, the Auror Department was in a frenzy. It started off with the murder of Kingsley Shacklebolt, to the string of Auror killings and now two Hogwarts students had been killed to date. No one was safe and people were slowly realizing that. Tension was building and the Minister was doing nothing about it. Soon, though people would begin to realize what was truly going on and maybe then they would take a stand. Nate just prayed it wouldn't be too late when they did.
"Interesting..." Nate commented at the article he had just read about the current Headmaster of Hogwarts. Painted out as a corrupt, power hungry wizard who was hell-bent on fulfilling his own selfish needs, Burt Wick Reynolds definitely seemed like a man who was hated by many. The ramblings of the different sources in the article made the man sound so devious and dodgy that Nate's view about him was completely skeptical. Although Nate knew that not everything in the papers could be trusted, the insight about Burt had him wondering if maybe he was the face behind the deaths at Hogwarts. It couldn't be him, or could it?
Nate didn't see why the Department of Education wouldn't provide a full investigation around the character just to clear things up with the world? Maybe Burt really did have connections in the right places. Maybe he was apart of an elaborate and sinister set-up that nobody knew of, or maybe the guy was innocent...
Closing the paper, Nate put it down on his table and let out a sigh. He ran a hand through his messy hair before checking the time on his wrist watch. "Crap..." he said upon the realization that he was running late. Getting up from his chair, Nate hastily made his way up to the Atrium, located on the eighth floor. He was never one to run late for anything, especially for important events such as meetings. Nate always kept time, but this time, time had gotten ahead of him. As he moved through seas of Ministry workers, Nate kept checking the time on his wrist watch. He couldn't believe how an important event like this just slipped his mind. Ever since the day his boss extended an invitation for him to join a secret organisation known as The Order of the Phoenix, Nate was more than willing to take arms and fight. Protecting the good was his ambition, yet here he was late in his quest to fulfill that very desire.
Once he finally reached the Artrium, Nate found an empty fireplace and stepped inside. "Longbottom Hill." he spoke clearly as he used the floo network and within seconds he found himself in the fireplace of a large home. He could hear voices and as expected proceedings had taken place without him. Stepping out of the fireplace, he dusted himself off and quietly found a seat.

“Bloody hell,”
Drool laid out on the counter of the Leaky Cauldron, red hair could be seen emerging from the far end of the place. A late night had kept Ronald out all night, he hadn’t even been home in twenty-four hours. The Wizarding World seemed to be finding itself in a bit of a rumble again. A rumble that Ron never thought he would have to face again. As an Auror ever since the defeat of Voldomort not much had been happening in the Wizarding World. Not anything that they weren’t able to handle within a few days, but it seemed that the World was about to take a nasty turn. Not only was Ron having to figure out ways to deal with what was going on at Hogwarts, which were items not so easily taken care of, he also had a job at the Ministry that he had to make sure he was on top of as well. Of course, the new shortcomings were much more important, and held a bigger presence in his life than that of a few thieves stealing from local shops. However, he may have taken off a little more than he could chew this past week considering he had just been asleep in the Leaky Cauldron.
Checking his watch he let out a low groan (the same watch he got for his seventeenth birthday), he was late. Late to what would be considered an important meeting for the Order, and he could already see the disapproving looks upon everyone’s faces when he showed up late. He almost assumed just skipping out of the meeting in an attempt not to draw attention to himself, but knew that avoiding the meeting would just cause a bigger stir for him. He really did not want to show up home that evening after not attending the meeting and come face to face with his wife. His wife who could put a bit of scare in him from time to time. That and he knew how important being at the meeting was in these moments, with everything that just happened he wanted to make sure he could do everything in his power to keep his children safe, to keep his family safe, and he was willing to listen to the Order’s ideas, and find a way to take a stand against the cruelty that seemed to find its way back into the world. He would put his life on the line to save the ones he loved.
After quickly sliding out of his chair he asked the bartender if he could use their fireplace, floo-powder would be the quickest way in this matter. “Longbottom Hill,” he announced loudly and clearly, a little bit too much floo-powder might he add because he came out of the fire place wheezing a bit. Dusting off his robes he slowly walked around the place, before arriving in the room where everyone was. He gave an apologetic look as he took a seat toward the ending of the table, giving a small mouthed “sorry,” to Harry, as he avoided eye-contact with his sister and wife. He would certainly speak up about the horror of the world soon, but right now he needed to find himself catching up a bit first.

Harry gave each person that spoke up his utmost and undivided attention, making sure that they knew that he valued their input. As Neville spoke about adding extra security and patrols he could only nod his head in agreement. “Should we gather them up at the Cauldron during holidays? After what I did to the last Death Eaters that tried to kidnap Alice, I don’t think they’ll attack there.” Harry knew what Neville was referring to, for Harry had arrived just after the chaos that ensured when Neville went off on the death eaters that had attacked, just so that they could kidnap Alice. “Or we could bring them here. I’m already in a good position to let them in on the secret.” It was a good idea but what he heard next was exactly what he had been thinking but it wasn’t only Neville who had said that, but Ginny said it as well, which solidified his decision. "I think we should bring them here. I trust this manor more than anything, they have every right to know the details of what's going on and know about the Order." That settled it then. “Yes we will bring the children here during the holidays and if need be we can even bring them here if the and when the situation gets any worse at Hogwarts. We will also inform them of the Order.” Harry said with a tone that was filled with power and authority, which indicated that he had already made the decision beforehand. “Good idea Argus and yes the letter said some other things as well besides him confessing to the poisonings.” Harry replied to the question that was posed to him by Argus, and he had also agreed with the man about putting extra security on Sean Owens and on Alyssa Nightingale, but he was not going to go into detail. And then in came all of the late arrivals or at least two of them. Nathan Devereux one of his aurors, and then the next person to come in was Ron whom he was not surprised at all to see him come in late. “Devereux. What kept you?” Harry asked the young auror, before turning his attention to Ron who had mouthed sorry to him. “Ron have a late night or something? And what do you have to report? Anything new, or odd that you have heard or picked up on lately?” The questions he asked his best mate were simple, that could have multiple answers but he needed to know. “I also ask the same questions to each one of you that are present, I want to hear any and all information that may be beneficial to the Order.”As he waited for his fellow Order members to report, a patronus appeared in the room once more and took the form of a tiger, the same tiger as before, which belonged to Walton. Harry listened to the message that it had for him. “Neville, Walton is on his way with information that is best delivered in person. Said information is from the top.” He of course was referring to the head of the IA David Jones. It was weird but they knew that they could trust Walton to bring said information, and plus Walton had been to the Hill once before. “As we await the arrival of Walton, I want your reports.” Harry stated. “Yes we will bring the children here during the holidays and if need be we can even bring them here if the and when the situation gets any worse at Hogwarts. We will also inform them of the Order.” Bill had been listening to the others speak about bringing the kids here and informing them of the Order, and to be honest he was perfectly fine with it especially once his sister had spoken about it, he knew that there was no way to sway Harry’s opinion, about bringing them here. But then yet again it was not a bad idea since it was the single safest place in all of England just like the rest of the houses of the members of the Order, granted here there were even more protections which made it the safest place in England.
“I agree with the idea to bring the kids here.” Bill began before looking around at the Order and then back towards Harry after he made brief contact with his wife. “As I stated before when I walked in Fenrir Greyback is now back in England, and is currently missing his right arm. We have also gained a very powerful and influential ally. The allies I am talking are the goblins who have pledged full support to us in these troubled times and will do anything and everything to support us.” Bill finished up that portion of his report, and he did have something else to tell the Order but first he needed to wait for Walton to arrive since it would confirm whether or not they had also gained the support of certain French wizards and witches.

I’ll have to start taking steps to protect the Minister and the Ministry as well. Well this was right up his alley, if there were any interviews being held he was ready to step in even if they were only for aurors, which he was not one, but a hit wizard.
Reports huh? Well seeing as how he was new to the Order, Tom had not been given an assignment but he did have some information to share since he had overheard something in one of the local pubs. “Potter the other night I was out in one of the pubs on some business and I overheard several people talking about backing and paying for any expenses of some pureblood scheme to rid the world of everyone except purebloods. And as we can see it has already started with all of these murders taking place. Now I was only able to gather their names since I was working and if I would have made a move on them I would have compromised my position. I only have last names Williams and Havener. Williams is from England, while Haverner is from Germany. Whoever is behind all of this has influence or support outside of England. So it is a good thing we are not just focusing our efforts here but in other countries as well.” He finished up with the information that he had overheard and that he had looked into. Tom would have liked to bring those two in but he couldn’t but he did get the necessary info from the barman at the pub.

The allies I am talking are the goblins who have pledged full support to us in these troubled times and will do anything and everything to support us.” Rob had finally decided to pay more attention as others began to give reports and information on things that they had overheard or done. It was a good thing that they now had the full support of the goblins, who if he remembered correctly hated the Ministry of Magic right now, so he was not at all surprised when Bill had said that they had joined their cause. He knew that with the full support of the goblins the Order of Phoenix would be able to do its job without having to worry about funds, or extra forces, since the goblins would send their warriors if and when they were needed.
“Neville, Walton is on his way with information that is best delivered in person. Said information is from the top…As we await the arrival of Walton, I want your reports.” Now isn’t that interesting a member of the International Aurors was headed here to deliver information to them that came from what he gathered the head of that organization. It was odd but he had been seeing more and more International Aurors watching him as he went about his business, he knew that he was the age to join their ranks if they wanted him to, and maybe that was part of the reason that Walton was coming here.
“Well I do have some information on one Burt Reynolds and his lapdog Vincent Stone.” Rob began in a half serious tone. “Reynolds tends to head on down to the third floor corridor almost every night. I have not been seen as of yet, since the shadows tend to be my best ally when I am following him along with my animagus form, and also some very well used charms to conceal my scent, sound, and also my body. Reynolds spends a lot of time down in that corridor which he tends to head down towards where the Mirror of Erised was and or is, with that gauntlet of obstacles to get through. And as for Stone well he runs off into the Forest and usually disappears in there many nights of the week and on weekends he doesn’t come back to the castle at all. Most times the slimy snake turns into his animagus form as a snake and does what snakes do best, slither off into the dark. And since snakes have next to no scent it makes it rather difficult to follow him sometimes unless there are leaves or something of that nature on the ground that rustle as he passes over them. I am not sure what these men are up to but whatever it is, it is not good for the school and or students, especially during these dark times that we find ourselves in.” Rob informed everyone that was present for the meeting.

"A rather captivating reading piece...You all have my sincerest apologies." Nathan excused himself at Harry's question of what was the cause of his fashionable lateness. Looking around the room at all the familiar faces, Nate was quiet shocked to see such a massive turn up. Never did he expect to see witches and wizards banding together to fight for a dangerous cause such as one like this. Nowadays people were scared to stand up and face the truth, even if it was staring them straight in the face. For many it was too dangerous and risky. The easy way out was to turn a blind eye. Ignoring reality like their beloved minister was simple; pretend like nothing's going on and just hope things dont go south. But like many others in the room that wasn't an option for Nate.
He was a fighter. He couldn't let things stay the way they are now and just pray for a better future - no. He had to do something, big or small so long as it helped someone then it would be worth it in the end - besides it was in his job description. Which was why he was honoured to be in the presence of so many courageous men and women who were willing to risk their lives for the greater good. This was The Order of the Phoenix and he was happy to be in their ranks.
Getting comfortable in his seat, Nate listened to the contributions from some of the members. From the brief snippets of conversation, Nate caught a few topics that had already been discussed in the meeting prior to his arrival. Like the plan to bring 'the kids' to Longbottom Hill for the holidays and the news that the werewolf Fenrir Greyback was back in England without a right arm. Whilst there was more about purification of the world, the talk of the infamous Burt Wick Reynolds captured the ear of Nathan. The report from Robert about Reynolds only fueled Nate's thoughts about the figure really being a bad guy.
Whatever that was happening with all these murders at Hogwarts and the headmaster's suspicious behaviour, Nate felt like there was more to it than what was in the papers and the words of a serious-looking co-worker.
