Cecelia hadn't expected to spend much time at the carnival, but after her adventures with Andy, she discovered that it was actually kind of fun. She had considered asking Grey to come with her, but considering the amount of other couples at the carnival, she was glad that she hadn't. Cecelia was still trying to figure out how to survive on her own and all of that. She loved having friends - and more than friends - to lean on, but being able to stand on her own two feet was something that she had been fighting for ever since the previous April. Wandering from game to game, Cecelia didn't find anything that particularly caught her attention... Except for there was a photo booth. Cecelia was eager to do that - she couldn't remember the last time she had gotten a photo taken of herself. She sat and posed for the photo, and then waited to the side for the photo to print. When she was handed the photo, Cecelia's heart dropped. It was... a wanted poster? Suddenly she wasn't having such a good time after all...

Dustin loved carnivals. He especially loved this one, because he was really hoping to see one of his sisters at the carnival, and surprise them by just being there. Dustin hadn't yet seen one of his sisters, but he was hoping that if he stuck around long enough, he'd run into one of them. He just needed to occupy his time until that happened, and that meant playing games, as one did at a carnival. He was looking for something to do, and had scoped out the perfect path that he could take to get the most out of the carnival. That path started with the easiest thing: the photo booth. It was a short line, which was good, considering that some of the other games seemed to be clogged with Hogwarts students looking for something more exciting than sitting and posing for a photo. Dustin was content to do that, though, if only because it would be good press for the Falcons if one of their players was seen hanging around and having a good time, like a normal person. He made an appropriately brooding face when the picture was snapped, not even bothering to look at the photo before he shoved it in his pocket and began running towards the next game.

Carleigh decided to go to the carnival to see what the fuss was all about. She came upon a poster board that had many wanted pictures. She found one that she liked and decided to step up for the picture. Once it was done this is what it had looked liked.

It seemed like everyone and their uncle was going to the carnival, and Emmy was no exception. She hadn't been in Britain for all that long still, and she was curious to see whether or not the carnival was anything like the ones her aunt and uncle had taken to when she lived in Baltimore. It quickly became apparent that since this was a magical carnival, there were quite a few differences. Emmy wasn't sure whether or not she liked all of the changes, but she supposed she didn't really get a choice in the matter, since the thing was already set up (and there wasn't a booth for complaints, sadly enough). Luckily, it seemed that some things seemed to transcend culture, including photo booths. Emmy was more than happy to sit for a picture, and was surprised to see how fearsome she looked when the photo came out. Maybe that was why she could always lure Rory into doing whatever she pleased. Emmy tucked the photo into her pocket and then continued on. Now if only she could find a stall that sold crab pretzels...

Some would say that living with George Weasley made every day a carnival - and they would be right. However, Fred was interested in going to a legitimate carnival anyways. The games with his dad were more 'will you explode if you eat this piece of candy?' variety and less 'have some innocent fun' variety. Not that Fred minded, most of the time - possible explosions were definitely his scene - but it was nice to have some fun and be able to relax while doing it, instead of constantly checking over his shoulder to see if he was about to be pranked. Currently it seemed like the lines to the various games were long, and Fred was not put in Hufflepuff for a reason - he had about zero patience. He decided to go towards the one area without a line - a photo booth. When Fred sat down, he was told to look menacing... but honestly, had Fred Weasley ever looked menacing before in his life? The result ended up being more 'less happy than usual' than actually menacing of any kind. Fred was just too hysterical to be a wanted man, he supposed.

It felt weird to go to a carnival, Georgie thought as she wandered through the maze of booths and games. It was all so happy-looking, and Georgie wasn't particularly happy herself. Her mother had just left again, and if she was honest, Georgie felt a bit... adrift. She didn't want to talk to either Louis or Lance for fear of burdening one of them further. They both had better things to do than listen to her complain about her already-evident abandonment issues. The carnival was supposed to be a distraction, but no matter how many tokens she traded in for paper tickets, Georgie's heart wasn't really in it. She kept trying, though, bouncing from game to game until she felt like she had done every single one in the carnival at least twice. She moved on to the other activities, like number guessing games and... the photo booth. Georgie sat for a picture, but it was obvious in the photo that her mind was elsewhere. Oh well. Maybe she could send it to her mother to prove that she wasn't just sitting around moping all day. Georgie moved on, not giving the booth a second glance.

All of her students were talking about the carnival, which had made Imogen wary of going. From the way she had heard it described, the carnival was one step below organized chaos. Imogen didn't like chaos of any kind, and she didn't like it. After her brief foray earlier in the week, Im agreed with her original impression that the carnival was hardly worth visiting again... yet here she was, once again wandering around. She wasn't sure what about the carnival pulled her, but there was just some sort of energy that sang to her, and encouraged her to stay. She didn't play many games, mostly watched shows and tried different foods that she didn't normally get to sample. When she passed by a photo booth, Imogen paused. She didn't often take pictures - she didn't really understand why she ought to, since the chances were that she'd look different on any given day than she looked in the picture - but Imogen decided that there wasn't any harm in innocent fun. And then her students wouldn't be able to say she was boring for not going to the carnival. Imogen had to admit, she was pleased with how the picture came out, and tucked it away safely before following someone's calls of a new cotton candy stand with flaming cotton candy.

After her date with Liona, Jamie had been a bit apprehensive about exploring the carnival on her own. It was so much more fun with someone by her side, she thought, but she wasn't sure if any of her siblings or friends were particularly interested in continuing to wander the carnival grounds beyond just the area where the games were held. She knew some people didn't want to eat the overpriced food, but Jamie didn't care - just the smells were enough for her. besides, it was nice to be outside. Jamie had forgotten how much she missed the feeling of the wind in her hair and the sun on her face. She was walking past a game booth when she saw a flash of bright light out of the corner of her eye - a camera flash! Jamie was eager to get her picture taken, and she stood in line, bouncing on her toes as she did so. She loved pictures! She smiled sunnily at the camera, and then laughed when she saw that the picture was for a wanted picture. Oops.

The crowds of the carnival were still suffocating Sander, and he wasn't having a good time. He was trying to get out of the carnival, but the place was a maze, and he couldn't manage to stop going in circles. When Sander saw something that he didn't recognize, he actually got excited, because that at least meant that he wasn't tracing his own steps over and over. When he walked past the photo booth, Sander wasn't going to go in, but one of the carnies pulled him in, crooning about how handsome he was. Sander tried to protest - he definitely wasn't handsome, with the scarred face and magical eye - but it appeared that he wasn't allowed to say no. He made a face at the camera that wasn't even an attempt at the smile, and didn't stick around to see the result. He just wanted to leave.

A carnival. Nat had never been to one, so she was treating it more like a learning experience than a game of any sorts. She was trying to take in as much information as possible while not looking like she was lost, and that was difficult. More than one carnie asked if she needed help finding the exit, and Natalia had to tell them no each time. At least she still got some practice at being polite under less than ideal circumstances, Nat thought with a small smile. She decided to get her photo taken at a booth, though she wished James was there so they could have a picture together. It was no matter, though, because when she saw the photo, Nat's face twisted into a frown. Wanted. Like her aunt had been, and her father would have been if he wasn't so damn good at cheating the system. Nat shivered a bit. Hopefully the name Lestrange would never end up on another reward poster.

Why did he keep torturing himself by coming here? That's because Zaire was feeling good today and he just knew today would provide some better results. He was happier when he walked into the carnival and they handed him his tokens and he pocketed them quickly, trying to figure out what he would do first. He saw a few decently long lines and decided against joining them because he didn't feel like waiting just yet. And then he remembered there had been a photobooth somewhere, some funny wanted poster photobooth that he'd seen on his first day there. That wouldn't be too bad. He didn't need to have any real contact with the carnie because the camera was magic operated. He walked around a bit until he found the booth. There weren't that many people in line, just three people in front of him. His wait didn't last long at all considering you only needed to pick your frame and get your picture taken. His good mood remained when he got to the front and picked his wanted poster. He went inside the booth and put a smirk on, he had to make it look good and realistic. And then the carnie burst into the booth, saying that he hadn't paid his tokens yet. He turned towards the carnie to chew them out when the flash went off. Great. The carnie saw the look on his face and quickly stepped out of the tent. With just a peak out of the booth he saw that the line had gotten incredibly long. Had he really not been paying attention to the people that had been behind him? With a breath of annoyance, he stepped out of the booth and handed over his token in exchange for his photo. Such a great start already.

She was going to have to wait forever wasn't she? Liona had just gotten off of one of the rides when from where she was standing she'd spotted an incredibly long line wrapping around a few of the booths. Taking a good look at it she realized that it actually wasn't just multiple long lines for a few booths but actually one really long line. She couldn't remember what booths were in that direction so out of curiosity she walked up to the person that was standing in the back of the line to ask them. It was the line for the photobooth. She couldn't hide the shock on her face and she huffed. She'd been hoping to hit that booth soon. With the length of the line, she didn't think it would be possible. Or maybe not? It was just a photobooth, it was wasn't as if there was a lot involved in it. She thought it might be better to join the line now before it got too long. She waited. And waited. And waited. And then she became impatient. It moved, yes, but it just wasn't moving fast enough. It felt like an hour had passed before she was finally able to get to the front for her turn. She picked her frame, entered the booth and posed for her photo. She knew it was going to be good. She was just too cute today. She walked out, paid her tokens and received her photo.

Zita had been playing games all day to try and get enough to get one of the bigger prizes from the prizes booth. She needed a bit of rest though. Actually it wasn't rest that she needed, she needed more tokens. She was running low now even after some of her friends had given her theirs because they'd wanted to leave. It hadn't been enough in the end though and she was frustrated because now she would have to wait until tomorrow to get more. So with her last few tokens she wanted to try to do something fun. Like take a photo. She'd seen the line for the photobooth earlier and it had been ridiculously long so she'd nixed that plan. But now that it was later in the day, the line wasn't nearly as long as it had been so she'd decided to join it and wait her turn. She grinned in excitement when the line got shorter and shorter until her turn finally arrived. She handed over her token to the carnie running the whole thing, entered into the booth and posed for the photo. Once she got out, she was handed her photo.
