Cece had really thought this through, and Andy admired her for that. Andy nodded, taking another bite of her candy as Cecelia went on to say that most people only have one 'person'. Andy knew what she meant, and also thought it was adorable how Cecelia didn't have another word to describe Grey. That made sense to her, too. "That's... true," Andy agreed. She knew just as well as Cecelia did that it was easier to target someone who meant a lot to somebody. "I just hope... I don't think," she paused, trying to get her thoughts together as she lowered her cotton candy for a moment. "I just think ceasing to live and love because something bad could happen isn't really living at all," she explained, "but I'm not necessarily the best example of that either," but she was getting better.
She turned to look at the carnival before them, "come on, let's continue this conversation as we walk and survey the strangeness of all this," she chuckled.

Cecelia let out a soft breath when Andy said that her logic was true. Cece was glad that they at least didn’t need to argue about that. Maybe it meant the other girl understood her a little more. Andy continued on by saying that ceasing to live and love wasn’t the answer, and the Gryffindor just blinked. “You’ll notice that I’m not stopping myself from it.” Cecelia pointed out stubbornly. She had still agreed to go on a date with Grey. She was still willing to recognize what she felt for him. She just wasn’t going to be shouting it form the rooftops like some people seemed to think love ought to be shouted. Just because she was scared of what the relationship could mean didn’t mean she was stopping herself from doing it. She was going to second-guess a lot of things, but she had never once second-guessed that she felt the way she did.
“I wonder how people got the idea for some of these games.” Cecelia said, looking at the Knut Drop with pursed lips. She didn’t know who thought that putting a shot glass in a fish tank would somehow lead to a scintillating game, but there it was. “Same for the food.” Whose idea was it to heat up sugar until it made a cloud of thin strands? Cecelia would like to talk to that person, to see how they thought.

Andy nodded, smiling as Cece confirmed boldy that she wasn't stopping herself from living. She didn't comment on it further at the moment, figuring the topic needed some time to breathe. Cecelia questioned how people came up with the games and the food and Andy lifted her own cotton candy to survey, "that is a good question... People just get... Inspriation, I guess?" this conversation could go a long way considering how many things in the world were invented. "For the food I would just assume most of it was by accident. Maybe trying to make something taste better or accidentally dropping it into a fire," she chuckled, nodding toward a cart of roasted chicken legs.
Her eyes fell upon the ferris wheel and she looked up to the top, "now that must have been inspiration. How does someone come up with it..." she shook her head in awe.

Cecelia nodded when Andy said that people were just… inspired. She wondered what sort of thing could inspire this mess of colors and sounds and smells, but she didn’t really want to know, either. There was something beautiful in the strangeness of it all, and Cece worried that if she began to understood how something like the carnival came about, it would be less… magical. She chuckled when Andy said that people might have accidentally found out about food by accidentally dropping something in the fire. How one could accidentally throw a chicken in a fire, she didn’t know, but who was she to judge?
“It reminds me of a telescope.” Cecelia said when she looked up at the Ferris wheel. It didn’t make much sense as to why she drew that connection, but she had made it, and now Cecelia couldn’t see anything other than one huge telescope lens, rotating slowly. “Do you want to go for a ride?” Cecelia asked, unsure if that was Andy’s goal in pointing the wheel out.

Andy didn't actually get why it reminded Cece of a telescope, but she didn't ask. Cece asked if she wanted to go for a ride and Andy nodded, "sure! I'm interested to see what it's like being that high up... I haven't really done many heights in my time," she added. She wasn't big on brooms and she didn't really suspend herself in air in any other way. It looked sturdy, though, and she had never been nervous about heights before... but for some reason she was apprehensive. She was happy to join Cecelia on the ride, though. It would be a nice way to start out a long day at the fair for them with other games, rides, food and maybe some more girl talk.
@cecelia (we can call that the end?)
