@adonia That was good that Doni had played the game before. Just looking at it, Cordelia could tell that it wasn’t overtly difficult to figure out. All they had to do was place a frog down on the little race track and let the frogs do their thing. It couldn’t get any simpler than that. Racing together also meant that she could learn from the first round, and try a different tactic the second one. That was, if the frogs were allowed to have a second round. The Hufflepuff had the feeling that they were required to eat the magicked frogs at the end of it. Was it cruel? Not really. They were charmed candies. Their sole purpose was to mimic frogs and be eaten, as well as providing the buyer with a trading card. She wasn’t much for that gimmick, but they were fun to read while letting the charm wear off on the frogs. Cordelia followed Doni’s lead and also unpacked a chocolate frog. Hers didn’t seem all that energetic. That typically meant that part of the wrapper had already been slightly torn open. The charm didn’t have much to go on it. Hopefully it would last for the entirety of the race. “R-Ready,” Cordelia bobbed her head as she also placed her frog down into a lane. “I-I’m all-all s-set.” The required amount of tickets were produced from her pocket and handed to the attendant at the stand. Both of them seemed to be ready to go, so she nodded her head for the worker to announce the race. At the mark, she let the chocolate frog go from her hand. And it barely moved. She was too preoccupied in her stupid piece of chocolate inching along to see what was happening in Doni’s lane. [OOC: finish the race and wrap up with one more post each?]

The worker gave the go after Cordelia said she was all set and the frogs were off. Adonia was watching both lanes, but mostly just watching Cordelia out of the corner of her eye to see if she was having a good time. She seemed pretty focused on that frog! She was cute, Adonia thought, but maybe a little too innocent to mess with. She wasn't sure. But for now, just playing a game with the girl was fun and fun was what Adonia was all about. The frogs were inching forward and Adonia was sure that Cordelias would win. "Yours is doing well!" she commented, not sure if Cordelia would break focus to look into her own lane or not. As the frogs neared the end Adonia looked up at the worker. "Do we get to eat them after?" she asked. "Uhh, sure. If you want to," they answered. Adonia clapped happily at that. cordelia regan smith(wrap it up XD)

@adonia Unfortunately her sluggish, magic-deprived frog wasn’t doing too well. At least it didn’t look like it was. Doni’s voice snapped her out of her concentration on her own frog, and over to the Durmstrang girl’s frog. To say she was shocked was an understatement. The other frog was still behind her own, which seemed almost impossible. Did that mean that the other one was just as damaged as her own? That seemed logical since they were all wrapped up in the same box. For all she knew, they were all expired. A little extra charm into them would probably re-energize them though. What a fun experiment that would be… Cordelia looked up at the attendant as Doni asked if they were allowed to eat the frogs after the race was done. The hesitation from them said it all; they were expired. That was the only thing that ran through her head as she turned back to see her frog cross the finish line first. “M-Mine w-won…” she stated, rather surprised that her gimpy little frog had managed to pull out a victory. Cordelia wasn’t sure if she actually wanted to eat the frog though. It had done a good job at winning. Chomping contentedly on it as a victory prize seemed a cruel. Then again, she had also just thought about extending its magical life by testing spells on it. Which was worse? “I sh-should uhh g-get g-going,” the Hufflepuff said, looking towards Doni. “This w-was fu-fun.” Giving the girl a small smile and wave, she left her chocolate frog where it was at the end of the race track, and headed back out into the crowd. There were more photographs that needed to be taken before the end of the day. [The End?]
