Adonia seemed pretty excited at the idea of a game and Ed couldn't help but chuckle softly as she started smelling the air. Yeah right. She would have to have an amazing nose to make that work ... which technically was possible, but Ed still doubted it. He followed when she pointed one way, telling him to come on as she moved confidently. "I'm coming," he mumbled, but not in a negative tone. He was actually kind of enjoying this. When she turned to face him, Ed shrugged. "I don't know what you're doing either," he deadpanned. Then he smiled and looked around. "Well why don't we try that way," he suggested, pointing down another way. Then he looked to her again. "Neither of us knows where we are. Just think of it as scouting out the carnival," he said with a small smile.

Edmund mumbled that he was coming along, and then said he didn't know what she was doing either when she turned back to face him. She bit her lip and giggled, shaking her head. He suggested going the other way and she narrowed her eyes at him. "Are you just messing with me?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. Then he said it could just be scouting the carnival and she shook her head, pursing her lips a little. "We're never going to find this chicken," she said, stepping up beside him.
"Okay. But we have to do something while we walk so we don't get bored. How about the question game? We take turns asking questions and we both have to answer," she suggested.

Edmund was kind of glad for her cheery personality. It made it easier to just be himself and not have to bother about what she was thinking because she definitely wasn't taking him too seriously. Not that he cared what most people thought. At least, he didn't show it if he did care. Still, Adonia was easygoing and he appreciated that more than he was going to show. He shrugged at her question. "Maybe. Would you be surprised if I was?" Probably not. She didn't seem to be the type that got surprised. He couldn't help but laugh when she complained that they weren't going to find the chicken. "Maybe, maybe not," he answered, unhelpfully. "But we can try to have fun looking."
She suggested they play a game while they looked and Edmund shrugged. "Alright. You should start though." As a general rule he wasn't very good at these games. Ed never knew which types of questions he should ask, but he was willing to try.

He asked if she would be surprised if he was messing with her and she nodded, "a little. But also glad. It hopefully means we're just getting better acquainted," she answered.
Then, he said they'd at least have fun looking for the chicken, and agreed to the question game, and that she had to start. She contemplated, and then they begin to ask their questions. She didn't ask anything too personal this time around, and it wasn't long before they in fact did find the chicken, and were too busy stuffing their faces to ask more questions anyway. They spent a little while longer together before parting ways, but Adonia was sure this wouldn't be the last time she saw Edmund Windsor.
