@snupert <3 Lyla wasn't completely sure how this carnival thing worked. She had never even heard of one, but from what other's have told her so far it's a fun time. There was food, games, rides, and just all around great. Now, Lyla wasn't one to be super happy and outgoing, so going to this carnival was very out of her comfort zone. She enjoyed just being on her own, doing things by herself in her own company. This large group was a large step for her, so she supposed that was going to end up being a good thing.
As she got her tokens, she placed them all into her small purse she had slung over her shoulder. Artemis crossed her arms and began walking on the cobblestone, looking left and right to see what they had. Guess how many beans, whack a niffler, and some chocolate frog racing contest. The other side had an insane amount of food vendors, and her stomach growled silently. Rolling her eyes, Lyla walked over to one and ordered something called fried dough. Hopefully it was good.

The carnival. A place of wonder, fun, and magic. To Sebastian? A place to do business.
He'd already completed three deals that day, something that he was particularly proud of. Doing his job as a prefect and watching over the younger students all the while did give him some difficulty, but not at the level he couldn't handle. At the end of the day, he would still be able to do everything he had to. He was about to continue on to his fourth deal when his crew hastily told him to beat it and have some fun. It was a gesture he appreciated and listened to. After a few reminders to his crew about being careful of the amount of prefects and professors roaming about, he walked off, really taking in the sight of the carnival for once.
It was a jovial occasion, evidenced by the happy shrieks and yells that could be heard from mountains away. There were a few faces he was surprised to see, one of which was Lyla Alisi. As far as he knew, she wasn't really the type to favor such an environment. His curiosity got the best of him and he walked up behind her just as she ordered some fried dough.
"A fellow dough fan I see. Good choice." he said abruptly, knowing full well that he would surprise the heck out of Lyla. A teasing grin was already on his face, and he was poised to evade any impulsive attempt to hit him as a result of her surprise.
