okay…so her and @tamara need to thread again because they made a deal to both read the same book and then have a little book group when she returned. she was busy last year, so she never got to come back after the summer, so maybe she reappears, and mina is like “oh yes, you are alive!” i can also offer an existing thread with @wesley for some shits and giggles.

They would have started and graduated from Hogwarts at the same time, with her penchant for helping people maybe she took pity on this outcast in their first year and befriended him. Because of that Rhys would have most certainly developed a crush on her and despite himself he never acted on it, but its still there.

Hi COLIN!, sooo I have a couple of people to throw your way and wasn't sure if it was easier to do so on here or discord so... here it is!

CHARLIE && GRACE - these two girls share a dorm with each other and I think there's potential there for them to maybe be friends, or at least roommates on positive terms? They share a few interests - drawing and a love of animals, so I could definitely see them having bonded over that. Grace wouldn't make puns about Charlie's full name either, promise! I think Grace would be able to handle Charlie's pretentious streak quite well, just nodding and pretending like she's learning something new when Charlie explains it to her. Idk if Charlie is out either but... Grace has recently just said that she thinks she's bi-curious aloud and she's really struggling to wrap her head around cementing whether she's bisexual or not. Perhaps she could approach Charlie about it and they could have a discussion?

MADDIE && GRACE - while I think Charlie and Grace would mesh quite well, I don't think Maddie and Charlie would. They're polar opposites, in a lot of regards. Grace is dirt poor and it shows in her belongings. I think she would find the way Maddie flaunts her wealth and the fact that she's not very humble quite offputting, though she would never say as much. She'd probably keep to herself instead of mingling with Maddie in the dorms. It could be interesting to have a bit of tension between the two, that one day might just end erupting?

NESSA && GRACE - I don't think they'd get along. Grace may have made the effort to be friendly to Nessa at the beginning but after receiving some not-so-warm responses, I think she'd have given up relatively quickly, but she'd still try and smile at her in the halls because it's 'polite.' The fact that Nessa is rebellious and a rule breaker could give them reason to clash given Grace is a prefect who is quite abysmal at trying to discipline people because they don't respect her.

Grey x Tamara - Not only did they attend Hogwarts at the same time, but they were also in the same year; they both work for the Prophet now! They are both also reporters (though he does Quidditch, and she reports on other stuff). Not really sure on a thread, but it could be interesting!
Cordelia x Peyton - So these two were pretty friendly during their time at Hogwarts, and Peyton would surely call them friends. Maybe a random run-in that turns into a catch-up?

Mina x Tamara/Isabel - So for Mina, I offer you two thread ideas. She and Tamara threaded a while ago where Mina checked her out with a bunch of books, and they talked about having a little book talk the next time she came in; I’m sure because Tamara comes in often, they had that talk. Tamara disappeared for the length of Hag’s Fever, so maybe this thread could be the first time coming to Flourish & Blotts in a few months, and they catch-up? As for Isabel I was thinking of a Christmas thread? I haven’t really threaded with Mina since taking up Isabel, and I’d love to change that!

Lily x Isabel/Ginny - Another I offer two for. I feel like she and Isabel would get along? They didn’t originally start in the same year, but they’ve always been in the same house. Isabel is a bit of a wild child herself, and I feel like they’d be good friends if they aren’t already. As for Ginny, the thread that we had going with all the children didn’t end well, but maybe a new thread with just the two of them? Could it be around Christmas time with Ginny checking up on her at home or maybe even during school when the new term starts?

Cara x Peyton - These two definitely need a thread; they’ve only had that one owl. Could it be something around Christmas time / New Years'?

Finn x Ellie - Now that Ellie is off her study abroad, I’d love to have another thread between these two. Could it be something around Christmas time / New Years'?

Steve x Cameron - These two 100% need to thread again. Could it be something around Christmas time / New Years'?

Renard x Athena - Not only is Renard and Athena cousins, but he’s also now engaged to her best friend. She’s not his biggest fan, so a thread between these two could be interesting!

Madeleine x Isabel - We once talked about these two being frenemies, seeing as they didn’t exactly get along during Halloween that one year. The cupcake accident? Yeah, I’d love to thread these two out again if you’re down!

So, she is somewhat friends with her father Charles even though they are closer in age. The whole dragons thing. Anyway, she loves artificats and history, so I think they would likely have gotten along great, and maybe became friends?
