Andy continued speaking and confirmed what she already knew. Jamie had learned to play violin to play a song for Andy. How interesting. What was even more interesting about the whole thing was that Andy's cheeks held a noticeable pink tinge to them as she spoke about the blonde girl. Liona's eyes raised slightly as she nodded and felt her own cheeks warm in embarrassment because she felt like maybe that was something she wasn't supposed to see. Or the blush was completely innocent. They were friends. More than that, they were best friends, apparently. She didn't even realized that they'd arrived at the Muggle Studies classroom until Andy was no longer by her side.
She stepped in after the girl had already swept up the few splinters that had remained on the floor from the broken violin. Liona was barely listening to Andy, probably overanalyzing the girl's blush and what it may mean when she did catch the word 'help' being directed towards her. "Oh. Yes. That is what I'm here for. If I can be of help, anyway." Liona walked up to the desk where the violin sat, staring down at the split pieces. "Was it your first time picking up a violin again?" Her curiosity had her shifting gears once again so she wouldn't read too much into the blush. If it was important, it would come up again. Jamie would tell her. They hadn't been seeing each other for long after all.

Liona seemed a little aloof for a moment but responded that she was willing to help. She asked if it was Andy's first time picking up the violin again and Andy shook her head. "No, it was the second or third. I was also going to start teaching my boyfriend how to play. Gotta get a grip on myself first, though," she chuckled nervously. Then she turned toward the violin again and gently set the pieces on the desk. "Okay, what would help most is if you held the pieces in place while I did a binding spell. You could hold them with your hands or with your wand, either way," she said. "I can guide you which ones go where," she added. She was good at teaching and explaining things, if she let herself take the time to do so and to be patient with herself, most of all.

Now that portion of her words Liona did find amusing and chuckled a bit because of it. "I do believe that to be a proper plan of action," she replied with a nod of her head and slight amusement in her tone. Last she had heard, Andromeda had taken up with the Longbottom boy from their year. She didn't really know much about it, didn't really care to learn about him either if she was being honest. It seemed everyone around her was enchanted by the violin because her though, if her teaching her boyfriend about it as well as Jamie's interest in learning it was any indication. She wondered what it could be, not wholly remembering her skill level from their Orchestra practices. An idea came to mind but she didn't voice it, watching as she placed the remaining pieces of the instrument on the desk. She pulled out her wand, because she didn't think holding it with her hands was a very bright idea, and waited for her instruction. She would have probably been able to figure it out for herself, what pieces go where, but it would move faster with two people working on it together. "Ready."

Liona agreed that Andy should get a grip on herself first, more or less, and seemed a little amused about that. Andy smiled just a little, amused herself. Then, Liona said she was ready to help and Andy started to put the pieces in place. "Okay, now just hold them there," she instructed, leaning forward to start piecing it together. It didn't take long, and she had done it a few times already. When she had accidentally broken things. Especially a violin or two.
When it was done, Andy cleared her throat and looked up at Liona, "thanks... for your help. Maybe one day I'll explain this all to you," she said softly. She hadn't meant to be so mysterious, but she also couldn't go around telling people that she had tried to kill three muggles...

Liona listened to Andromeda's instructions, though she felt like everything was pretty self-explanatory, and held her wand steady to hold the pieces of the instrument in place. The Gryffindor proceeded to bind the pieces together accordingly and once she'd stood up properly again, the violin was back in one pieces looking, Liona assumed, the same as it had been before it'd suffered the blow. Simple task complete, it looked as if her work was done.
She had learned something interesting though about Andromeda, even if she felt like she didn't have all of the pieces. The Gryffindor girl confirmed her thought process seconds later, stating that maybe she'd tell her about it someday. Liona hoped so, if only to satisfy her curiosity now that it had been thoroughly shaken. "That's definitely your decision," she stated simply before giving a nod. "I'm sure I'll see you around then Ms. Lestrange." She pocketed her wand and left the classroom to pick back up on her studies.
