Grey mentioned how they at least agreed on something and she nodded, laughing a little too. It was nice to do that with him. At his question, she rolled her eyes, "she's not like that all the time, Grey. She is a good prefect," as far as Addi knew, Ondina was a respectable person, aside from when she suddenly decided to give her brother love potions and whatever else she did on the side. On the surface, though, Ondina was... just another Slytherin. She could tell he turned to look at her, but she didn't turn toward him. He said that it was goo that she was content with herself, and yawned again, looking away from her. For a moment, she felt like the space between them had evaporated. She felt like they could talk openly, that she could share all her troubles, that she could trust him. But when he believed her lie, didn't call her out on it, she felt that space widen once again, and she lowered her head for a brief second, eyes closed. "I should go," she finally said, moving to stand. "Wouldn't want to disrupt your sleep," she said, attempting a tease, but her voice was flat and hollow. She walked away, taking in whatever he said in goodbye, if anything. grey xavier slater(If you want to do one more you can, but [the end] for addi)

@addilyn Grey had to take he good with the bad. Addi laughing at his comment about agreeing was better than her giving him a cold stare. He was pretty sure she wouldn’t do that to him when he knew he was right about it. But the other side to this was that she said Ondina wasn’t as bad as he said she was. That didn’t sit well with him. Maybe if she had apologized about the whole ordeal or drugged him because she was actually interested in him. Anything other than why she had done it would have been better. But the fact remained that it had been out of malice. Grey wasn’t stupid. He knew the Slytherin only did things that benefitted her. Everyone knew that. He could care less if she was a ‘good prefect’. That was exactly how she got away with everything. No one would suspect a prefect of making love potions to use on another student. It was the perfect crime. Grey didn’t respond to his sister though, deciding that it was better to let it go. He didn’t need to alienate her anymore than he probably already had for the last seven years.
He certainly didn’t expect her to suddenly say she had to go. Especially because it looked like he was ready to sleep. Sure, sleep was good, but they seemed to be having a semi-decent conversation. At least it appeared to be from his side. Frowning slightly as she stood up, he also moved to sit up from his leaning position that he had been in. “...okay.” He wanted to say more, but Addi looked like her decision had been made already. Anything he said would fall on deaf ears. “I probably do need to sleep more,” Grey said as his sister walked away, leaning back on the grass once again. Well, it could have gone a lot worse than it did.
