Susan laughed, but was slightly concerned. What person would voluntarily call themselves a sociopath? Susan was glad though that Andy seemed to like him; that was what mattered after all. She didn’t know if she would work with someone like that, but...well, she knew Andy, and the more she thought about it, the more that particular pairing made sense. He probably could understand that side of her best friend better than anyone else could. “That’ll be so nice! You’ll probably get through training a lot faster since you won’t have anyone else slowing you down,” she said with a small teasing smile. Not that anyone could really slow down Andy to begin with, but Susan felt that this one on one training time would do well for her.
“My first day was great; it’s definitely the department I want to start my career in. Obviously my end game is to one day become the Minister of Magic, but baby steps. Hermione Granger did the same after all,” Susan said happily. “There are some really great people in my department, very eager to make some moves and shakeups in the magical creature rights sector. I’m excited to show them what I’ve got,” she added. They stepped out into the sunshine, for it was not to be dark until nearly nine that night. “Let’s walk back, it’s not too far,” she suggested; her apartments were barely a mile away, and after sitting all day Susan’s legs could use the stretching.

Susan agreed that training would be nice since Andy didn't really have a lot of other people around. "I think so too. It'll at least be nice to just be able to go at whatever pace I need, and what they think is best," she explained. She was already ready to get out there, emotionally, but she felt that she still needed more mental and physical training. "I'm working with Lionas dad, too, so that's interesting," she admitted.
Susan said her work went great, speaking about the Minister thing again which made Andy chuckle. Susan suggested they walk back and Andy agreed, following. "Well, that is exciting. They are blessed to have you, Su. Anyone would be," she said, her voice more gleeful than she was used to. "Anyone we know working there?"

Susan shook her head. “No, not that I know of at least. There are some people I recognize from Hogwarts, but they were a few years ahead of us, and I was a little on the shy side today to go up and introduce myself,” she admitted sheepishly. Susan wasn’t always a shy person, but today had been her first day in a real job that she had gotten due to an application she had submitted. It was almost like University, but more political and she got paid to do work. “They did say we get to spend time with some magizoologists though, so I’ll get to see Sander,” she said, sounding far happier than she intended to, and blushed. “Sorry Andy,” she said quickly, giving her best friend’s arm a squeeze. They reached the Windsor apartments and Susan unlocked the door and allowed Andy to walk through the foyer first. “Hello? Anyone home? We’re back from our first day of work!” Susan called, stepping onto the marble flooring and looking around to see if anyone was home. She knew Lucy and Edmund should be around here somewhere, and who knew where Will was at any point. The Queen kept him so busy sometimes that Susan would forget that he still lived with them. “Want a snack or something?” Susan asked Andy as they headed towards the kitchen. @lestrange @will feel free to make your entrance

Andy nodded as Susan said that there wasn't anyone from their year in her department. At the mention of Sander, Andy grinned, "well, that will be nice," she chuckled. Susan apologized and gave her arm a squeeze and she raised a confused brow, shaking her head, "sorry? For what?" she asked. Was Susan actually apologizing for being happy about something? About love? Andy stepped into the apartment first and Susan called out, causing Andy to laugh a little, shaking her head. "Sure," she nodded, at the mention of the snack. But before they made it to the kitchen, Will stepped out from another room to block them. @susanvictoria @will

Will had been doing some work with Parliament today, as usual, but had been home for about an hour when he heard the voice of his sister calling from the hall. He took his time finishing the page in his book and setting it aside before stepping out into the hallway to greet her. He stopped right in from of Susan and Andromeda, raising his eyebrow and smiling a little, "well, well, well. If it isn't the all grown up ministry duo," he commented with a bit of a sing-song tone. He shifted his eyes to Susan, "you've been hiding the lovely Lestrange, then? I haven't seen her since you got here," he chuckled, his eyes moving to Andy then. He took a step back in order to have room to give a short bow, just bending at the waste, his eyes on Andys the whole time. "Good to see you," he said, straightening, "Rumor has it you're a Hit Witch," he commented. @susanvictoria @lesgtrange

Susan opened her mouth to explain herself; it was silly but she knew Andy was going through a tough breakup and she was just embarking on her own new relationship. She knew she shouldn’t feel that way, but it was her duty to be Andy’s cheer up brigade whilst she lived there. She didn’t have a chance to explain herself however, as Will entered the room. “Hi Will,” she said cheerfully. “I wasn’t hiding her, we just have been busy WORKING at the Ministry,” she added pointedly making a jab at her elder brother.
She smirked a little as Will flirted with her friend, though she tried not to roll her eyes at his obvious nature. She excused herself to head into the kitchen to make some popcorn, allowing Andy the chance to be wooed by her brother the white knight. She pulled out a bowl and the kernels from the pantry. She waved her wand and the kernels began to pop, and the delicious smell of buttery popcorn filled the kitchen. She shook the bowl a little and after a few more minutes made her way back to the hallway. “Hope I haven’t missed too much?” she called, arriving back to her friend and brother.

There was almost something gut wrenchingly charming about William Windsor. When he appeared in front of them, clearly flirting, Andy couldn't help but smile a little half grin at him. and give her own little bow. She chuckled as Susan said she wasn't 'hiding' her, "It's Longbottom, actually," she corrected Will. "Changed it, finally. Not married or anything," she clarified proudly. She chuckled again as Susan emphasized that the girls worked for a living, unlike Will, it seemed.
Then Susan bowed out as Will said it was good to see her, talking about her job. Andy nodded, and resisted the urge to take a step back from those eyes. "You heard correctly, your majesty. I'm afraid I haven't learned how to do much hitting yet though," her face suddenly turned bright red. That sounded like innuendo if she knew anything about innuendo.
Thankfully Susan came to save her a few minutes later, and Andy turned to her, breathless, "nope. Nothing." Her face was still beet red.

Susan said that she wasn't hiding Andy, emphasizing that they've been working, which he did not to. Not in the traditional sense, that is. Andy corrected him on her last name and he raised an eyebrow, "you just.. decided to accept the family name then? I think that's great," he said, though he felt like it was a little awkward that she took her very serious ex boyfriends last name, and that would confuse people immensely. How many people did she have to clarify to that she wasn't married? Did it make her sad to say Phils name with hers and not think of him as a lover? Either way, he thought it was sad and weird... but also nice for her, if she did it for good reasons. Like having a new family. Andy said she hadn't learned how to do much hitting, and her face turned bright red, which made him smirk. "Well, I could teach you a few things," he said back. This was both true about defensive and offensive magic and was flirting, since that is what he was assigned to do. "Just say when," he added in a low voice. Then Susan was back, and Will turned toward her, shrugging, "just talking about her job and whatnot. Maybe scheduling some private time together," he teased again, winking at Andy who was redder then the crimson Gryffindor scarfs they had both worn at school. @susanvictoria (lol andy hahahha)

Susan held back a gag as Andy blushed and Will suggested scheduling some private time with her. “Ugh, Will stop it, she’s blushing out of horror not embarrassment,” she said teasingly, shoving her brother in a loving manner. Gripping the bowl of popcorn with the other arm, she looped hers through the crook in Andy’s level. “Speaking of one on one time, it’s time for ours,” she added towards her friend. Sticking her tongue out at Will and giggling, Susan led Andy down the hall to the TV room the siblings shared. “Sorry about my dashing older brother,” she said, rolling her eyes good-naturedly. She loved her brother dearly, but he was such a flirt sometimes. She supposed she could understand his charm, but she was blood related, so she was resistant to it. “Do you want to watch a film? I have a pretty big collection,” she offered, opening a cabinet to reveal dozens of movies. “I’m not picky, but if you want to steer clear of romantic comedies, stay away from this row,” she said, pointing with a chuckle. @lestrange end on your next post

Will understood why she took the Longbottom name, even if he did seem kind of awkward while trying to be supportive. "Yeah, I think it's a good thing. Sometimes I think Natalia might too but she's older than me and has James and... well, I'm not sure what she's thinking about it," okay, Will probably didn't want to know all that information, but he was a good listener and being nice about it and that was a great thing.
He played off her 'hitting' comment, saying he could teach her a few things and to 'just say when'. She felt her cheeks pink at that. Not that she had a thing for Will Windsor, but she was sure he could get anyone to blush when using that low voice.
Before she had to answer, thank the gods, Susan cut in to save the day. Andy smirked, watching Susan shove Will. She felt a little jealous about that, because of the relationship with her own brother. Then Andy happily followed Susan away, stealing a piece of popcorn as they walked. "Oh, he's fine - it's fine," Andy said quietly as Su apologized. Andy nodded at the mention of a movie, and did indeed steer clear of the romantic comedies row.
