She asked what they could do after the hike and he leaned his head from side to side. "Well, I can think of a few things I'd like to do with you," he winked, then chuckled. "Definitely food. We'll be hungry after the hiking," he explained. "aaaand, possible a movie? We should see more movies," he loved seeing movies. It did it all the time. By himself, mostly, but he was sure it would be way more fun with Jess.
About her writing, she said that she wasn't sure, saying that she didn't have anything specific in mind. "Well, maybe you can write about a variety of stuff," he suggested, smiling as she turned to look at him. But then she started to fall and Fin lost his grip on her. He bent down quickly, "Jess," he said softly, looking down at her foot and then back to her, "your foot is stuck," he couldn't help but chuckle, "are you trying to get yourself killed?"

Jess blushed at Fin's teasing, shaking her head and looking away for a second so she could try and get her composure a little more. She looked back, nodding when he mentioned food and a movie. She laughed, remembering the last movie they saw. She definitely liked that experience. "I'm definitely good with food and a movie. Do you want to go to your place or get dinner somewhere and then go out to see a movie?" Jess was good with either, as long as she was with Fin, which she would be.
She smiled at his suggestion, "Yeah, I guess I'll see." Then she was on the ground and she heard Fin say her name, from somewhere behind her. She grimaced when he commented that her foot was stuck. "Yeah, thanks," she grumbled, annoyed even more when she heard him laughing from behind her. She turned her neck to look up at him, glaring. "Are you going to stand there and laugh or help me?" Jess asked. Her foot still hurt. She was almost sure she'd done something to her ankle, but she didn't want to say anything about it just yet. She sighed and started trying to move, gasping softly as pain ran up her leg.

He loved it when her cheeks redenned. It was even cuter when she looked away, like she thought he wouldn't notice. She agreed to a movie, laughing. "Maybe we should do it out on the town this time, we might actually watch the movie," he smirked. Of course, he wouldn't mind not watching the movie.
He chuckled again when she glared, but stopped immediately when she started to move. His hand immediately pressed hard on her shoulder, stopping her from going. "Don't be a hero," he said firmly. He looked back at her foot, "it's probably just sprained, but you shouldn't walk on it. So, back down we go?" he suggested, moving to pick her up in his arms.

Fin suggested they go out on the town, that maybe that would help them watch the movie. Jess shrugged casually and then smirked as she answered. ”Maybe ... I guess we’ll have to see if being in public makes a difference.” She mostly expected that it would, but there was a part of her that didn’t want Fin to change just because others were around.
He stopped her when she tried to move and Jess looked at him curiously, a little surprised by his serious expression when he told her to not be a hero. She quirked an eyebrow at him, ”How am I being a hero?” His next words weren’t what she expected. He wanted to stop the hike? Her mouth opened slightly and she shook her head. ”I don’t want to stop here. I want to see the view with you.” Jess watched him seriously, honestly having no idea how Fin would respond to that. ”Help me?” she asked, hoping he would agree without arguing.

She said that they would have to see if being in public made a difference, and he couldn't help his face turning bright red. The thought of kissing her, at least as passionately as they did that night, and in public place made his cheeks warm. He didn't say anything further on the topic, not wanting to rule out the possibility altogether.
She asked how she was being a hero and he just shook his head, "by trying to get up," he answered. Then she said she wanted to see the view, suggesting that he helped her. He smiled affectionately, and shook his head a little before wrapping his arm around her waist and taking her hand to wrap it around his shoulders. "Okay," he said, "Just walk on the one foot with all of your weight on me, I promise I can take it." He started to move forward...

Jess noticed his face going red and couldn't help but smirk. She wanted to tease him about it, but she also didn't want to say anything that might make him doubt his decision to spend so much time with her so Jess decided to let it drop. She could always tease him later if things went well.
She rolled her eyes when he said that trying to get up was a way of being a hero. "No it isn't," she argued, annoyed by the tingling pain in her foot. "It's what anybody would do." She realized she was snapping at him and shut her mouth, telling herself to stop talking as she reminded herself that it was her fault she fell, not his. She watched him, waiting to see if he was going to insist they stop now, but he didn't. She felt her smile growing as he wrapped his arm around her waist. She held on to his shoulders tight as he stood. He told her what to do and she nodded, "Yeah sure, no problem." Jess bit her lip for a moment, feeling suddenly a little nervous as they started to move. "Are you sure you don't mind? I don't want to cause any problems." She just wanted to be with him ... and see the view. It was supposed to be beautiful, but they could probably do that a different day. She kept on leaning on him as they walked, hoping he wasn't annoyed at her for insisting they go up. He didn't seem annoyed but Jess couldn't help but feel self-conscious all the same.
