Lucy suggested talking to Grandma Weasley and Anna grinned at the thought. "That's a great idea, Lucy! I'm sure Grandma would have lots of good ideas." Besides that, her grandmother should know exactly what needed to be done to get everything ready for a wedding. "I'm going to have to visit her soon." Even if her parents didn't end up approving, Anna was close with her grandmother- being named after her and everything- and was sure that her grandma would be excited for her. That was going to be a fun conversation. Lucy asked another question and Anna turned her attention to her sister, shrugging a little. "I think so. I'm not exactly sure how long it will take for him to get out of the hospital wing, and then we'll be planning a marriage ... until we find a place, I'll be staying at Mom and Dad's." Which could end up catastrophically, but that was the original plan. Before the attack, he was going to go to France to finish things and she was going to stay at her parents. When he got back, they'd look for a place. Now ... well, that would all probably happen except the him going to France part.

“I’m pretty sure there isn’t anything that Grandma couldn't help with.” Lucy said with somewhat of a half laugh. She wasn’t entirely sure if she believed the words coming out of her own mouth, however, she knew they would comfort Anna. In all honesty, there was a lot that their grandmother, as talented and special as she was, couldn’t do. However, Lucy only thought about things that way because of all of the secrets that she was constantly keeping from the family. Lucy couldn’t help the next words that came out of her mouth. And she didn’t think about the implications of them until they were already said. But once they were out there, she meant them. “I’m not going back to mum and dads.” Lucy admitted to her twin sister, looking down at the stone instead of up at the girl. “I’ve been saving most of my money for a few years and have enough to get me started living in London.” she explained. “If you don’t want to go back to their house - you can stay with me.” she decided. Knowing how hard dad always was on Anna, Lucy wanted to at least put the offer out there. Even if it was maybe a bad idea seeing that living in such close quarters once Lucy began to fully get involved with the purifiers might not have been the best suggestion. “I love them and all - I just don’t think I can go back to be told what to do and having all these rules and… just… having some watch me and question everything I do.”

Anna nodded thoughtfully at Lucy's comment about their grandmother. "I think you're right. She does everything." At least, she gave off that impression. There were probably things she couldn't do, but Anna wasn't about to start thinking about all of them. She was busy talking to her sister, and probably wouldn't try to think of those things even if she got the chance. At her sister's next words, her mouth fell open. Lucy wasn't going home? What? She continued to explain, saying that she had a place and that Anna could stay with her if she wanted. Anna gave a half laugh and smiled at her sister. "Yes! Please, can I? I mean, at least until Oscar gets out of the hospital. I think he wants to look for a place with me ..." she trailed off, not entirely sure what the plan was now that her boyfriend- no, fiance- was in the hospital. She'd have to get used to thinking of him that way. "But yes, I'd love to stay with you instead of going home." She could hardly believe that she wouldn't have to go home, but the idea of being free from her parents, of not being told what to do, almost seemed too good to be true.

Anna seemed thrilled by the idea of living with her sister and Lucy couldn’t help but let out a small laugh as her twin expressed her interest in the situation. “Sure. I mean, it’ll probably just be a one bedroom or studio, so as long as you don’t mind sharing with me.” she admitted with a shrug. And she had thought of getting a pet or something, but that could wait until Anna was back with her fiancé and was living at their own house. She could sacrifice bringing lovers home or dealing with any complicated political things while she gave Anna a place to stay. She didn’t mind it at all, actually. “Yeah you can stay for as long or as short of a time as you want. I wouldn’t make you suffer through time with mom and dad.” she promised.

Lucy was obviously pleased that Anna was so excited at her idea, and Anna was glad. She didn't expect her sister to offer such a thing just to be nice, but it was good to be able to see that she liked the idea as well. Anna rolled her eyes, "Why would I mind sharing with you? It's not like we've never done that before." When they were younger, they'd shared a room, which had been interesting for sure. Anna thought it was part of the reason why they had such a good relationship, though she definitely acknowledged the fact that when they got older and were allowed to have their own rooms, it was a good thing as well. Nice to have a bit of space, even if they were only at their parent's house during the holidays and breaks. She grinned at Lucy, "Thanks. I think not staying with Mom and Dad will keep things more calm ... especially since I'll be planning a wedding." She wanted her parents involved, but she didn't want them thinking they were completely in charge of it either.

Lucy nodded her head when her sister explained that she thought that not staying with mom and dad would keep things calmer. Lucy agreed with her twin. “I think it’s probably for the best that you don’t stay with them.” she agreed. Like Anna was thinking, Lucy loved her parents, but she didn’t agree with them. And while she had to bite her tongue as a child, she wasn’t sure how well she’d be able to do that anymore. She had been thinking recently about how family gatherings were going to go now that she was an adult and living on her own. She wondered if members of her family would start asking her why she hadn’t joined the Order, or, where she had been during some of these events. She knew they wouldn’t be asking out of suspicion, but even by just wanting to know how she heard about them or how far away she had been would put Lucy on edge and risk her exposing herself. She was clever, though, and she knew she’d be able to talk her way out of a lot of situations of the sort. Anna was included in that, and Lucy knew Anna would be the hardest to hide from, especially since she was living with her, and was always someone Lucy hated hiding from the most. “I can just see the flat turned upside down with wedding magazines.” she said with a laugh. “And various bits and pieces. I guess it’s a lot to buy isn’t it? And organize? How are you paying for it?” she asked.

Anna smiled when her sister agreed that she probably shouldn't stay with her parents. That didn't mean that Anna was planning on icing her parents out of the plans for her wedding, but she didn't want the arguments that would definitely come if she lived at home until the wedding. "Thanks for offering," Anna said once more. The fact that she wouldn't have to stay at home was more relieving to her than she could have imagined. She laughed when Lucy started imagining what the flat was going to look like with all the wedding preparations. "I don't know if I'll turn it upside down," she teased her sister back. Then she started thinking about those preparations a little more and shook her head a little nervously. "It is a lot, on both counts ... " then she grinned, "I think I can use some of my Tournament winnings to pay ... that way I don't have to ask for help. Is that rude?" She didn't know how much her parents were going approve of the wedding, or whether or not they would even want to help pay for it. If they did, she would probably give them a chance to, but she wasn't holding her breath for it.

Anna explained that she was going to use some of her winnings to pay for the wedding, which Lucy could have assumed, but she still wasn’t quite used to thinking of her twin as the winner of a big tournament yet. Not that she didn’t think that Anna was a winner, it was just still so new to think of it being over and the winner being announced, and it almost seemed unreal that her sister had won. Sometimes, Lucy still felt bitter that Anna had been chosen champion, but she was happy for her sister overall. Everything seemed to be going right for her. Good. If Anna had something else to focus on then she wouldn’t think to look too hard into Lucy’s life. “I don't think it’s rude. It’s your own wedding. If mom and dad want to help pay then they’ll offer and from there you can decide to take it or not.” Lucy shrugged. From her experience, money came with power. If Anna let mom and dad pay for the wedding then they might start making ‘suggestions’ about ways that Anna should be doing things and think that they had a right for those suggestions to be implemented because they were paying. “When are you going to see Oscar again? After graduation? They moved it up, you know? Classes and exams are canceled too.” she told her sister, not knowing if she got the memo yet or not since she had been gone last night.

Anna nodded when her sister said she didn't think it rude that she was planning to pay for her wedding on her own. It wasn't that she didn't want her parents to pay, she just didn't want to assume with all the issues they had with one another. Anna smiled, "I'm glad you think that too," she said. It was reassuring to have her twin agree with her way of thinking, especially since it wasn't always that way. The two disagreed on things often enough, though they didn't normally fight. Lucy brought Oscar up again and Anna smiled. "I get to visit him every day, if I want." She did. She couldn't imagine leaving him in that hospital room all on his own. Anna nodded at her sister's other question, "Yeah, I know they moved it and everything." They were terrified there would be another attack, this time on the school. Anna felt like the choice to close school early was a good one too. "What do you plan on doing after graduation, sis?" Anna asked after a moment, a little surprised she didn't already know.

Anna knew that their graduation had been moved up and Lucy nodded, at least it wasn’t another shock of information to throw at the girl after she had just found out last night that her fiancee was attacked and was no in the hospital. Lucy didn’t want to be the bringer of bad news, but at least with the canceling of exams, there was a little less stress on the students as they also dealt with the news of their friends dying or becoming seriously injured. Anna asked Lucy what she planned on doing and Lucy shrugged. “Acting I guess. I’m good at it I might as well pursue it.” she explained. Lucy knew that acting didn’t always pay well, and that it was sometimes hard to even get a role, especially in a town like London where so many actors came hoping to get into shows on the famous, West End. Lucy wasn’t sure yet what she was going to do about money. She had some saved to get her started, but that wasn’t going to last forever. “Are you still going into the Auror program?” Lucy asked.

Anna smiled when Lucy said she thought she'd be trying acting out. "Oh, you'll do so good at that!" She told her sister enthusiastically. Anna was always a big supporter of her sister's acting, along with anything else she ever wanted to do. "You'll let me know when you get any parts, right?" Anna was pretty sure her sister would, but she wanted to be sure. Lucy came to all her tasks, she would definitely go to any plays, or whatever her sister got in. Besides that, Anna enjoyed those sorts of things. She nodded slowly when Lucy asked about the Auror program. "Yeah, for a bit. I'm trying to decide what I really want to do, but until then, I don't think there's anything wrong with learning something from Auror training. I don't want to stay in it though, that's for sure." She wondered if her sister would think that was strange, but didn't say anything else.

Lucy nodded slowly when her twin asked if she would let her know if/when she got an parts. Of course she would, however, she knew that telling Anna would be that she could expect to look out into the audience on any night and see the Weasley family taking over the first few rows. But that was fine, wasn’t it? She was going to be working in a very public field and that meant that she’d want to let people know what she was doing. Publicity was everything in the world of theatre, she knew that. It was in times like that where having a big family came in handy. “I’ll let you know.” Lucy promised. She wasn’t expecting to get anything too grand right away, but even a small part was a job. Anna then went on to say that she didn’t think she wanted to stick with the Auror program. Lucy couldn’t say she was surprised by this decision, while she knew her sister decided to be an Auror a while ago, Lucy never saw Anna liking the job, and certainly never saw her as an Auror. It wasn’t a matter of Anna’s skills, Lucy knew Anna could do whatever she wanted to do. Lucy just never thought her personally matched the job. “So then you’ve got a lot to tell the parents.” Lucy said with a smirk. Anna would have to tell them not only about the engagement, but eventually that she was switching jobs also. And - that she was moving out. However, both of them had at least that to tell their parents. "We can tell them together?" Lucy offered. She wouldn't let her sister be alone in it.

Anna smiled when her sister said she would let her know about any parts she got. "Good," Anna responded cheerfully. She didn't know when that would be, but she trusted her twin to keep her word and Anna was excited. She enjoyed seeing her sister perform. Lucy didn't seemed particularly surprised by Anna saying that she didn't want to really be an auror and Anna couldn't help the relief she felt from that. At least someone other than Oscar wouldn't be mad at her when she stopped her training. She nodded when Lucy mentioned telling their parents and then made a face. "Yes, I have lots. I don't think I'm going to tell them everything at once though. They might disown me if I do." She didn't really think that would happen, but she also didn't want to upset her parents more than she had to. Her eyes widened and her smile returned when Lucy offered to come. "Yes please! Thanks Lucy." Anna loved how her sister understood her so well and knew how nervous she was to tell her parents. "Now let's stop talking about this and just have fun for the rest of the afternoon," Anna suggested, rising to her feet and gesturing that Lucy do the same. Maybe they could go on a walk or something. Either way, she was just glad to spend some more time with her sister that day. --- the end --- @lucyweasley
