He wasn’t sure if there was a stigma about going home after work or not. The aurors, meaning the ones that were officially licensed and dealt with real issues, not his crowd in the training program, all seemed to go out and get drinks after work, but that wasn’t his idea of fun. Unwinding for him meant going home and going to sleep immediately. Morning came fast, especially when he was naturally inclined to stay up late to begin with. That was one thing he didn’t need Cecelia’s help with. Eventually he was going to have to make a decision though, and moving closer to the training facility would be the goal. Even if he did decide to leave the program, at least then he would be in the area for the Prophet. Their offices weren’t exactly far from the Ministry at all. He was sure there was a reason for that.
Grey laughed a little as Anna wished him luck. He was going to need that. “See, I don’t know how you can do that. Living with a sibling I mean. Both of my sisters would probably kill me at some point.” Maybe it was a twin thing. Grey had never spoken with Lucy before, but he had definitely started to mistake her for Anna on more than one occasion. “Not yet. Figured I should make a decision on the job first. But if this ends of lasting longer than I want, it might be better to get out of the house sooner rather than later,” he shrugged. The real problem was going to be when he brought up the part about changing careers to his parents. They wouldn’t be happy. If things were already strained, that would more than likely be the last nail in the coffin. By moving out beforehand, at least he would be doing them a service before they even realized it. The whole experience would be less jarring for sure.
