it gets better.
NODDING HIS HEAD, AARON COULD DO NOTHING but agree with Lily's assessment of Jamie. She truly was one of a kind, a pillar of the Greyback name. Aaron might not wear it, but he wasn't so afraid of being one when there was people like Jamie at his back with him. She'd been the one to teach him that reputation meant nothing in the long run. "She has admirable patience." Aaron said, appreciating the fact that Lily so obviously admired his sister. It was nice to see.
And while it was Lily that broached the subject of Adrian, it was suddenly very obvious to Aaron that there was bad blood there. For whatever reason, Lily seemed tenser but continued to speak anyway. Aaron wondered briefly if he should tread carefully. "Mm, I agree." He said in to the steam of his mug, warming himself with a heart drink. "I'm sure he'll still be your best friend when he returns." Though, he was really searching Lily's face as he said that.
"Well, I don't drink coffee that often." Aaron said, though that wasn't technically true. He didn't drink it as often as he used to. "But, I suppose yes, I do." He figured it had something to do with the lycanthropy infection making him burn off a lot of energy, he was constantly eager for more. That meant a craving for sugar, or so he'd been told before. "I think it's a werewolf thing," He said around a laugh, before their heaping plates of food arrived and Aaron's stomach rumbled. "Ah, finally." He sighed, already grabbing for his fork and knife as he said a thanks to the waiter and immediately tucked in.
