Vik was tired. Something went wrong with the mission he and Rai had tonight and he wasn't exactly sure what it was, but he spent quite a bit of his time trying to figure out how to fix it. Since he didn't know what was wrong, that proved almost impossible. Adding the fact that finding his friend was proving difficult, figuring things out ... ugh, it was a stressful evening full of running and Vik was exhausted and annoyed by it.
He walked up to their hideout, his and Rai's, but there was a tension in the air. Something was wrong, the front door was open the tiniest bit. He frowned as he looked at the building, then went into a shadow and transformed into his fox shape, slipping through the door, creeping through the rooms until he went into the kitchen. A girl was there. She was tied to a chair, blindfolded and seemed to be unconscious. He searched the rest of the house, but Rai was nowhere to be found. Great.
Vik moved back to the front room and transformed back into himself. "Hello?" he called softly, pretending like he'd just arrived as he started to walk through the house, toward the kitchen. He knew the girl was there, but he wanted to give her warning that he was.

Andy was apparently in the wrong place at the wrong time? But she didn't really believe in that. She was heading home from work around four o'clock in the morning when she saw some people trying to break into business down a dark street. She could have just let it be, sure, but she felt like interfering this time... Which was a stupid decision because now she was tied up and blindfolded in a strange place. She opened her eyes under the blindfold when she heard a sound, someone walking? And then a voice came, calling out hello. "Yeah, hello, who the bloody hell are you?" she replied firmly, struggling in the chair that she was tied up in. Whoever had tied her up was clearly good at the knots, but they weren't necessarily holding that well. Andy still couldn't get out, yet, but it seemed the person didn't want to tie them too tight... maybe to be nice and not give Andy rope burn? Where the hell was she? @vik

Vik couldn't help but grin when he heard the confident voice, demanding to know who he was. "My name is Vik," he said as he entered the kitchen. He moved closer to her, taking off the blindfold and taking a step back as he looked her over. Sure, doing so would probably make her angrier, but he didn't know why she was here, so he couldn't exactly let her go. Not yet, at least. "What are you doing, tied up in my kitchen?" It wasn't really his kitchen, just their current base, but there was no way he was telling this girl that. "Do you know how you got here?" Vik backed up and leaned against the wall, watching her casually. Rai was good at knots, so it was likely the girl wouldn't be able to get out any time soon unless he let her. Well, this was going to be an interesting conversation. That was for sure.

The guy, as far as she could tell from the voice, asked what she was doing tied up in his kitchen. She was in a kitchen!? Some guys kitchen, who was either NOT the person who grabbed her or was playing stupid. He then asked if she knew how she got there and Andy rolled her eyes under the blindfold. "Someone knocked me out and brought me here, are you saying that wasn't you?' she asked, her tone annoyed. She didn't try to fight against the ropes, not right now. She didn't think a rope burn was worth - her wand. Where was her wand? If the person was a muggle then maybe it was still in her jacket... but she didn't feel it pressed against her side as she usually did. No, the person had taken it. Heaven forbid it had been lost in the struggle and was back in that alley... "I'm rather thirsty," she added, and she really was. That wasn't just a trick, though getting him closer would be better for her to at least try and identify him. @vik

Annoyance was practically radiating off of the girl tied up in his kitchen and, for some ridiculous reason, Vik found it incredibly entertaining. He chuckled when she demanded to know if he was the one to bring her here. "No, sorry that wasn't me sweetheart. I think you ran into my business partner somewhere." He wondered if there was anything he could do to help her feel more comfortable, but Vik didn't want to let her go until he knew exactly what she was doing in his kitchen.
"Are you now?" Vik asked, entirely entertained. This girl had a very strong attitude for someone who was tied up. He couldn't help but wonder what made her so confident, and felt impressed by it. "Do you want water or something else? I have just about anything you could want ..." he trailed off, still watching her curiously. What made her think he wasn't going to drug her or something? Everything about this girl screamed "mysterious" to him and he found himself incredibly interested. Even if she was a muggle, he wanted to learn more. Besides, he had absolutely nothing against muggles.

He chuckled, which made her want to rip face off even more. He thought this was funny? Obviously he had no problem with a girl being tied up in his... home or wherever she was. Maybe he and his romantic partner kidnapped girls to seduce or something. She would not have any of that. If they even tried to touch her she'd eat them alive, she had no doubt about that. Plus, wizards could still do magic without wands if they knew how... she wasn't trained in it, but she could figure something out, right? It was hard without being able to see what was around her, though. He said it wasn't her, saying 'sweetheart' in that cocky tone that made her eyebrows scrunch up. Oh, a business partner? "Does your business partner make a habit of kidnapping people?" she asked harshly. At the mention of her being thirsty he questioned it, and she nodded. He asked if she wanted water or something else and she rolled her eyes under her blindfold. "Water, of course. Anything else wouldn't really help the thirsty part, it'd just taste good. Maybe addle my brain enough so you and your partner can do whatever your plan is with me," she shook her head, "just. Water," she repeated. @vik

This situation was all sorts of hilarious. Sure, Vik knew it could also be considered awkward, but he chose to ignore that as he looked at the girl tied up in the chair. He couldn't see her face because of the blindfold, but that wasn't a bad thing. It meant he could appraise her all he wanted. Still, he didn't want to upset her too much. He shrugged, despite the fact she couldn't see it. "It's never happened before, but I'm not entirely surprised that she did," he admitted, stepping forward and removing the blindfold. Might as well make it so he could see her face.
Then he started getting the water, moving over to the cupboards and grabbing a glass before filling it with water. At least this way she'd see that he wasn't doing anything to the drink. It was a good plan, he thought. He turned around and looked at her, twisting his head to the side. "If I let you go are you going to attack me, because I'm really not in the mood for a fight right now." He smirked. If she did say she'd attack him, he'd just have to give her the water himself, which could be fun. Maybe he'd do that anyway, but he'd give her a chance now. Besides, if she did try to fight with him, he could always use magic and just remove her memory so the muggle girl wouldn't remember.

He said that this had never happened before, and Andy didn't believe him. But then, suddenly, she felt a hands near her face and she caught her breath, trying to lean away. But all he did was remove the blindfold. She breathed out, blinking as her eyes adjusted to the light. She looked up at him, only taking in his face for a quick moment before he moved away to fill a glass of water. She took in her surroundings, looking for clues as to where she was. It was all just pretty standard for a small apartment really. The furniture was mismatched, but nicer than she expected in a room this size. The smell didn't give anything away either. No, this was just a normal place... where apparently they brought their kidnapped victims. Andy had always expected evil lairs to be more... evil looking. She watched him closely after a moment, watching as he turned to face her again and twist his neck. "... I..." honestly, she would probably attack him if he let her go... but she could easily lie. "I suppose I can resist," she said. But she wouldn't. The second he untied her she'd start the martial arts. If only she knew where her wand was... @vik

Vik couldn't help but grin when the girl tried to pull away. He was only removing the blindfold, but still her reaction was priceless. Evidence to how uncomfortable she felt, which was quite understandable. After all, she was blindfolded, tied up, and taken to a place that she didn't recognize. She had every reason not to trust him.
She hesitated to answer him and Vik arched his eyebrows as he watched her. She didn't seem like the type to give in without a fight. He couldn't help but wonder if she and Rai fought before Rai found a way to knock her out, but honestly he had no idea. She didn't really look like she'd been beaten up, so he assumed it didn't get to that. Still, when she said she could resist he narrowed his eyes. Vik didn't quite believe her, but he also wanted to see what she would do. "Let's see what I can do for you then," he muttered. Vik moved closer to her, stepping behind the chair so she couldn't see him and used his wand to untie her hands, stepping back immediately just in case she was planning to retaliate, like he suspected she would. He wanted to be out of her reach, as much as possible at least.

He approached and she readied herself, running over in her mind the most effective way to immobilize him. He moved behind the chair and she waited patiently... He untied her and she jerked her head back, in an attempt to hit him with it, but he was fast enough and far enough that this did nothing. She immediately bent her knees, pressing her feet into the ground so she could leap forward, getting as far away from him as she could in a single jump. She spun around, kicking the chair in his direction. She didn't want to see if the chair made contact before immediately holding her hand out, trying to summon her wand to her. Come on, come on... she thought, but nothing happened. She wasn't that great at non-wand magic anyway, let alone non-verbal. @vik

She was definitely hostile, which wasn't really a surprise to Vik, but it was a disappointment. He hoped that maybe they could figure this out without her resorting to violence. Obviously that was not about to happen. She jumped away, kicking the chair towards him and Vik merely stepped out of the way, pulling his wand out of his back pocket and locking the doors and windows in the room. He didn't want to let her know he was a wizard, but he also didn't want her to get away until he found out why Rai put her here.
When she stopped moving, Vik took a step towards her, pocketing his wand again before holding his hands up to her. "Hey, calm down," he said in a gentle tone, smiling at her. "I just want to figure out what's happening. What do you remember before being here?" he spoke slowly, hoping she wouldn't make him use magic on her.

He moved aside from the chair and - pulled out a wand!? Holy crap! Andy outwardly gasped and froze. Well, that wasn't going to make things a lot more interesting. She heard the clicking of the locks around her and that sprung her back into reality. She took a fighting stance, both hands raised an fisted, giving up on trying to summon her wand. He took a step toward her and made the tactiley stupid choice of repocketing his wand. He held up his hands, telling her calm down and... asking what she remembered before being there. "You're a wizard," she pointed out firmly. "And... clearly you don't know where my wand was stashed," she sighed, dropping her hands. "I saw someone, a girl, breaking into a house and I tried to stop her. She knocked me out," she answered. She could talk instead of fight... for a minute. @vik

Vik heard the girl gasp and his attention shot back to her. She knew what this was, which meant that she was likely a witch or an overly paranoid muggle. He figured her being a witch was more likely. She lifted her fists and he rolled his eyes. If she knew what he was holding, then he knew how futile her fists would be against the magic he could use at will. Still, a part of him appreciated how she was obviously trying to defend herself. It was admirable, to say the least.
She answered that he was a wizard and Vik couldn’t help but smirk at the confidence in her voice. “Ahh,” he muttered when she said that he didn’t know where her wand was stashed. “To be totally honest, I wasn’t entirely sure if you were a witch or not. Once you got violent, I decided I could simply wipe your memory if you weren’t.” He shrugged, figuring that being honest wouldn’t hurt him right now.
The girl’s hands fell down to her sides and Vik’s gaze narrowed as she continued, explaining that she saw someone breaking into a house. He rolled his eyes. Honestly? How did Rai not notice this girl while breaking into a house? He’d have to talk with his partner about being more careful, though the image of her trying to figure out what to do with this girl was sort of amusing to think of. “That’s my roommate. She has … bad habits. Sorry you got in the middle of it. Do you know how long you’ve been here? Or remember where you found her?” Most of the time he and Rai did their jobs together, but he wasn’t entirely sure what she’d been doing when this girl saw her. He tilted his head to the side curiously. “What’s your name?”

He said that he didn't know if she was a witch or not, but that he decided he could wipe her memory if she wasn't and he had to resort to using the wand. She nodded once, understanding his logic. She probably would have done the same thing, or just killed them if they were really a thread to her. Most muggles weren't, though, so they got to live if they gave her a hard time. Vik said that it was his roommate and that she had 'bad habits'. He apologized for her getting into the middle of it, asking how long she'd been here or if she remembered where she found the girl. Then he asked her name and her eyes narrowed. "I'm hoping it was just earlier tonight that she clocked me, and I found her over on 14th and Hyde," she explained. "And my name is none of your business," she said sharply. "Did you... did you go to Hogwarts?" Maybe she could place who he was... @vik

Vik nodded slowly again as the girl explained that she was hoping it had only been a few hours since Rai knocked her out. "Well, I can tell you that you weren't here yesterday, so it's probably only been a few hours then," he commented, thinking a little more now. He knew the streets she mentioned, but he didn't think he and Rai had a job that would be in that area any time soon. What was she doing there?
He sighed when the girl wouldn't give her name. She was fairly cute and definitely feisty, which the thought was a fun thing, but he wasn't sure whether it would be good to let her know that her attitude amused him. He quirked an eyebrow when she asked her own questions. "Quite possibly," he replied, smirking at her. "What house were you in?" Assuming she went there, but if she was going to ask him questions, he was definitely going to ask some back.
