Andy breathed a sigh of relief when he said that she hadn't been there yesterday. "Thank goodness," she said. "How long ago were you here last? And... where is she?" she asked that last part slowly. The girl who had kidnapped her was nowhere to be seen, so this guy - her roommate or whatever - was stuck here dealing with Andy. That hardly seemed fair to him. He sighed, and she found herself relaxing a little - not enough to let go of her defense - but enough to assess him. He was... very attractive, and her eyebrow raised slightly as she looked him over. He smirked, saying he 'quite possibly' could have gone to Hogwarts and she narrowed her eyes at him. Then he asked what house she was in and she thought she may as well throw him a bone, "Gryffindor," she said boldly. @viktor

He smiled at the relieved look on her face when he told her that she wasn't here yesterday. Obviously she was a bit confused about how long she'd been here and maybe him helping her a little would make her a little less tense and hostile. "I left early this morning, and you still weren't here then," he told her, shrugging when she asked about Rai. "I don't know. We're roommates, but we don't always announce where we're going." Which was one of the things he loved about living with Rai. They each let the other do as they pleased and have their own space. "She should probably be coming back within the next hour or so," Vik added, wondering if that would help the situation at all.
She seemed to calm down a little bit, her expression softening slightly and Vik took that as a good sign. Maybe she was deciding not to attack him if he found her wand and gave it back. That would be nice, but he wasn't going to hold out for it. He nodded, unsurprised when she said she was Gryffindor. He chuckled softly, "I was Slytherin." Which meant that according to stereotypes, the two of them shouldn't get along at all. He didn't care about that though.

He said that he left early that morning, but she wasn't even sure what time it was now. It seemed to still be dark, but the curtains were drawn. He said that she would be coming back within the next hour and she took a step toward him, "well, you might want to let me go before then because I would really not like to beat up your roommate in front of you," she said, her tone sounding nonchalant and casual, but yes - she would be the girl up if she did show her face. She still wasn't happy about kidnapped, of course. he announced that he was a Slytherin, answering her question. She smirked a little too, "I might have known, considering that wicked look on your face," she said, taking another step toward him. "I guess I can't blame you for your roommate jumping me."@vik

Vik's eyebrow rose when the girl said that if she wasn't gone by the time Rai came she would beat her up. Really? She was that confident that she could beat up someone who happened to get the drop on her earlier? He wasn't going to argue with her though, not wanting to make her try to attack him instead. "I have no problem letting you go ... I'm assuming you'll want to find your wand first though, right?" Obviously, but he was reminding her just in case the second he unlocked the doors she decided to run.
"What can I say, I've got a wicked good face," Vik retorted, holding his ground as she stepped closer and closer to him. He wasn't going to back away, though he was curious about what she was planning on doing. "I'd hope not, or if it ever happens again I'd be inclined to just leave you at her mercy," he teased, unable to help himself. Vik chuckled again.

He said he had no problem letting her go, but assumed she wanted to find her wand. She snapped her fingers and pointed at him. "Right. That. Any ideas?" she asked, her eyes wandering around the room. "Does she have somewhere she hides valuable stuff?" she asked. He said he had a 'wicked good face' and she rolled her eyes, but didn't disagree. He said that if it ever happened again he may be inclined to just leave her to the roommates mercy and Andy stopped walking, her jaw dropping, "uh. That's rude."@vik

Vik laughed when she started to ask if Rai had a place where she hid her valuable stuff. "She has several, but I doubt she'd hide your wand there, just in case you got out, found it and took her valuables," he explained, glancing around the room. "I don't think it's in here. Might be in a drawer somewhere though." Vik waved his wand, unlocking the doors and heading out into the hallway, where there was a small desk with several drawers. He started opening them and glancing in. He couldn't imagine Rai would have hidden it in somewhere difficult to find.
He shrugged when she called him rude. "Well, it would also be rude for you to blame me for my roommate's actions," he countered. "So don't blame me for her and then neither of us have to be rude." The logic was sound in his mind.

He said that the roommate had plenty of places to put valuable things, but that Andy's wand wouldn't be in there. He unlocked the door and she felt her her heart skip, but then it just led into a hallway. She followed, her eyes taking in the new room and looking for another method of escape. She saw a window, and another door, but she wasn't sure where it led of course. "You guys have a lot of junk," she pointed out. He said it would also be rude for her to blame him for the girls actions. "That's fair. I declare you innocent."@vik

Vik was so busy looking for her wand that he didn't notice the girl observing their house, her eyes wandering around the room. He laughed when she said he had a lot of junk. "One man's junk is another man's treasure," he answered casually. Of course, there wasn't really anything in this room that he considered treasure. Vik didn't really get attached to physical items, but other people did. This room had many items that he was in the process of selling. Only some of the furniture would he keep and only because he didn't want the house to be barren. When he found something else he liked more, he'd sell this in a heartbeat. "Are you even looking over there?" Vik called over his shoulder. He didn't hear her opening drawers like he was.
"Good," was his response to her "declaration." "Then I guess I won't leave you helpless if my roommate ever happens to get the better of you again." He was fairly certain that wouldn't happen anyway. This girl seemed to be on top of things. She likely wouldn't let someone get the better of her like that again any time soon.

He said that the junk was treasure or whatever and she rolled her eyes. "That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard," she said. Andy just thought STUFF was a waste of space. So were most people, though, so she really didn't take much value in anything. He asked if she was even looking and she quickly broke her gaze away from the door and started looking through other drawers in the room. "Geez louise, there's all kinds of stuff in here," she noted, pulling out a green necklace and shaking her head. He said he wouldn't leave her helpless if the roommate got the better of her again and she glared, moving from her drawers over to the dresser closer to him. "That WON'T happen. I was just off," she argued. @vik

At her comment, Vik couldn't help but laugh. "Yeah, I know. I'm not keeping this, just in the process of selling it," he told her. In the back of his mind, he wondered if she thought he really wanted to keep all this stuff. A lot of it was fancier, much more "precious" than someone his age would care to keep, especially someone single like him. Then again, she didn't know anything. She probably thought it was his, or his roommates. "Yes there is. Just try not to break anything while you search. You know, you break it you buy it," he teased, though he wasn't quite teasing. He didn't want her to break any of his things.
"Hey, hey I'm not judging. I just said if," he pointed out, moving to look in another desk. He opened the drawer and smiled. "I think I found it,' Vik called over to the girl, turning to look at her. "Unless she's taken wands from other people without me knowing," he added in a thoughtful tone. That wasn't completely out of the question.

He said they weren't keeping the stuff, just in the process of selling it. "Is that what you do for work? Sell junk?" expensive looking junk, on some of them. He said not to break anything, and that if you 'break it you buy it'. "Well, that wouldn't be a problem," she admitted. Sure, she had basically just told him she was loaded, if he understood that's what she meant. She didn't really mind advertising that, though, because she thought it was kind of humorous. He said he wasn't judging and she glared, "well wipe that 'if' from your mind," she said firmly. Then he said he thought he found it and she rushed to his side, her shoulder pressing against his as she looked in the drawer, "yes! That's it."@vik

Vik nodded at her question. "Yeah, I procure valuable items and sell them," he answered casually. He liked using those fancy words. They were vague, but sounded official. Rarely did anyone ask how he procured the items, they just thought it was neat that he got to handle them, which Vik definitely found amusing. He lifted an eyebrow when she said it wouldn't be a problem to buy anything in here and then chuckled. "Well in that case, feel free to break anything you want." Since she called it junk, he doubted she would, but still he was a tease. It came naturally to him.
She told him to forget the "if" and Vik turned to her, offering a crisp salute. "Yes ma'am!" he answered before turning back to the desk in front of him. The next thing he knew, she was right next to him, pushing against him as she confirmed that it was her wand. "Well, there you go. Feel free to take it," he said, stepping back so he was out of her way. He, held his wand lightly in one hand, just in case she was still planning on attacking him or something.

So he was some kind of tradesmen. Alright, that was fair enough. Could be more organized, though. He said she could break anything she wanted, since she could pay for it, and she chuckled a little. "Sure, sure. If I see something I like I'll let you know," she promised, an eye roll gracing her face. He was funny, and a tease - clearly - and she could have fun with that. He said 'yes ma'am' to her demand that he wipe the 'if' from his mind. She shook her head, "ma'am? You don't think that makes me sound old?" she questioned, feigning taking offense. When she confirmed her wand, he moved away and told her to take it. She was sure he was preparing for battle, which made sense. She reached in and grabbed her wand, then whipped to face him, but didn't point it at him. "I'm not going to hurt you."@vik

Vik grinned when she said she'd let him know if she saw something she liked. Well that was good. At least she wasn't going to break something she liked. Of course, he could repair most of the things in this room using magic, but that was beside the point. He watched the girl as she glanced at the things around her. She was pretty, much as he hated to admit something like that. At least she could take a joke.
"I don't think anything could make someone like you seem old," Vik answered instantly, offering a charming smile as he said so. He could tell she was offended, or pretending to be, but he ignored that. It was much more fun to flirt. He carefully watched her as she took her wand and then spun to face him, saying she wasn't going to hurt him. "Well that's a relief," he responded. He wasn't quite sure she could hurt him, but that was beside the point. He was glad that she wasn't going to try. That would make things awkward between them. "So ... I guess you can go now," he told her in a low voice. He wasn't expecting her to hang around here, now that she got her wand back.

He said nothing could make her seem old, and she immediately was sure that this was a compliment. She wasn't sure how to respond to that, so she didn't. Well, not verbally. She did offer a small smile of thanks, but she didn't say anything. As she spun to face him with her wand, though, he said that it was a relief she wouldn't hurt him, saying she could go now. His voice was low and she furrowed her brow at him, "I didn't expect to meet... you," she said slowly. She hadn't expected to be MEETING anyone after getting knocked out. Well, anyone other than the kidnapper. But he had been... something. "I'm Andy," she finally offered, returning her wand to it's spot in her sleeve on the left-hand side, but she didn't take her eyes from his face. "And you're... different."@vik
