Golden Trio? Steve liked the sound of that moniker for them. The Heartbreakers sounded just as good to him though, and if it didn’t stick they could always start a band and then people would have to listen to them. The fact that they all had their little seduction quirks was certainly one of the reasons that brought them together (though it was hard to be inseparable from Nora, so maybe it had more to do with luring Cameron in). Hogwarts had a wide cast of characters that made their uniqueness not as unique, or at the least, nothing new. Steve had never met werewolves before coming here, and they were basically just like him, Nora, and Cam, except that they turned into giant dogs every month. And then there were the other half-vampires, which had certainly been a shock to him. Still, they had the influence of being from a different country and that surely won them a few points back.
“Like I said then, you could’ve used the bathroom in the basement. I don’t what you and Nora find so weird about it.” Sure, there weren’t any lights down in the basement and his mom had a fake coffin for Halloween gags that sat in the middle of the room, but it wasn’t that bad! He had used it plenty of times when Nora took over their bathroom for extended periods of time, so she should’ve known to do the same.
Cameron laughed at his comment about his hair and then proceeded to pat the top of his head. With the amount of gel and product in it, it had a weighty buoyancy to it, almost like jello. When it was in this state, anything could be done to it and it would still return to its original position. And that was one-hundred percent no-maj product in there. No magic was allowed to touch his precious hair. “It accepts your apology. You’re lucky it doesn’t bite. I don’t share that sentiment though…” he grinned down at her, flashing his teeth. If he had fangs, they would have been bared teasingly right now, but that was an unfortunate part of his vampire blood that wasn’t carried over.
