”Uh-Huh.” Was the first thing Dana Knox responded with. Talking about anything asides from Quidditch turned into the daily tease fest on Lars’ behalf, multiple ways to somehow blow one of the blonde’s fuses. But Lars was too sweet and funny to ever possibly annoy Dana, so her fuse was never truly blown. ”Now I feel like you’re trying to refer to my height or something.” She assumed, narrowing her eyes as she turned her head to face him. There was some difference between the two of them with Lars standing just a few inches taller whenever the two stood side by side – but nothing too extreme. Dana thanked him softly when he mentioned he would sign a petition, not that there would ever be one because muggles would never see the importance of Pluto being an official planet.
When Lars mentioned office work wasn’t for him, Dana found herself laughing as well as nodding. It was something they could finally agree on. ”Office work will never be for you. You enjoy too many practical things.” She knew the Hutton boy like the back of her hand because of the time they spent together while growing up and Quidditch was always the goal in mind for him. Though a blush crept onto the Knox girl’s cheeks as she looked away, trying to find answers in the buildings around them. ”I…didn’t say that.” She murmured before adding in ”You’ve always been cute.” It was something she didn’t want to exactly admit bearing her feelings for him in mind but also to tease the situation a little further.
A shake of her head confirmed Dana’s reassurance in the place they had picked to spend time with one another. Sure enough couples were littered all over, it didn’t affect the two of them so why should the blonde be affected by it? Before Dana could even voice that she wasn’t going to change her mind, she paused as Lars held the door for her, slipping inside the Tea Shop, a soft thank you leaving her lips for Lars. With her hands free once more, she intertwined her own hands while big blue eyes took in the décor of the Tea Shop. ”It’s…definitely been a while since we’ve been here.” The Knox recalled many times during their summer and winter breaks when she would drag Lars to places around Diagon Alley and even in places in the Hogsmeade village during the available weekends.

Lars just laughed for a moment while Dana suggested he might have been referring to her when talking about Pluto's size. “I hadn’t actually but I suppose if the shoe fits if you think I was calling you short.” He replied with a smile teasing her once more. Dana wasn’t short by any means really or at the very least she was only just a couple inches shorter than him. Not a big enough difference that he would call her short normally. Dana thanked him quietly as he offered to sign a petition for Pluto. “It’s no big deal just make sure to name any new planets or stars you might find out there after me.” Lars said jokingly as he really didn’t need something named after him.
Dana explained why paper work would never be for him and Lars just nodded and agreed. “That’s a better way of putting it than I did, I wish I had thought that up before telling my family I had quit. It might have been taken better by my parents than just saying it was boring.” With a shrug of his shoulders she explained a little on how his family had reacted. All Lars could do was laugh as they walked while Dana denied not saying he was cute even saying he had always been. Which he just felt she was teasing him once more. “Cute enough to get out of paying for lunch?” Letting a second or two pass he answered his own question, “than again if the cuter one gets free lunch I guess you’d win that anyway.”
Once inside the tea shop Dana pointed out how it had been sometime since they had been there and Lars nodded. “That’s for sure, I don’t know how but I think it got even more cutesy and pink in here.” He noted whole still looking around the shop, this time for a table though as he spotted one against the wall. Lars motioned toward the table and made his way over. “So what are the chances we’ll be mistaken for a couple like last time?” He joked while they walked but it was an awkward situation at the time. Not enough to ruining them hanging out but it was a good laugh after it happened. That was a long time ago though now.

Dana Knox was sure her eyes would soon be stuck behind her head with the number of eye-rolls she had performed during their time together. Lars was the kind of person to tease and mess with the Knox girl’s head until she felt the room spinning. Most of the time, it wasn’t necessarily a bad thing – considering she enjoyed the Hutton boy’s company, regardless of the day or any kind of situation she found herself in. The blonde laughed gently at his joking request, before saying: ”Naming a star or planet: Laurentius is quite a mouthful…don’t you think?” Two could play that game.
Blue eyes widened once Lars revealed what he had done when he decided to quit his job. ”You just straight out blurted that it was boring?” She questioned. ”Without even a touch of euphemism somewhere?” Although, Dana knew that Lars was a straight forward kind of person and usually spoke without thinking of his own words…Which then again led to most of his detentions and troubles back in Hogwarts. But Dana was usually there to remind him of simple manners. At times. A blush had crept its way onto Dana’s cheeks, something she knew would be easy to hide thanks to the God’s gift of makeup but she knew if he continued to tease, her pale face would flush in red. ”You think I’m cute?” the Knox asked, her curiosity biting her in the ass.
”Pink isn’t necessarily a bad colour.” Dana murmured, in reference to the splash of pale and vibrant pink around the two of them. Walking over to the table that Lars had found, as Dana began to shrug off her jacket a laugh left her lips as she began to consider how long. ”Maybe seventy-percent?” She responded in an uncertain tone. ”Although the hand holding probably increased the chances.” The last time it had happened between the two left questions fumbling in the blonde’s mind as to what Lars had done to be seen as her boyfriend. Not that…she minded it was kind of everything a hormonal teenager wanted. Even if Dana still felt that way, she was older…and wiser...A grin rested comfortably on Dana’s lips as she took a seat, her jacket placed over her seat neatly and comfortably. When Lars sat down too, she leaned forward to whisper gently to him. ”I bet it’ll be the waiter with the pink apron to comment on it.”

With a small smirk he nodded as Dana claimed his name would be a mouth full for a star or planet. “My full name is already just a mouthful for myself so I suppose you have a point.” Lars didn’t want anything named after himself either but the point was made and correct that his full name wouldn’t be a good fit. “Still you could just use Lars, planet Lars sounds like a fun place.” He added not totally ready to admit defeat even if this was just the both of them joking with one another.
“Yeah, that’s probably why the discussion didn’t start as well as I hoped it would.” There was a laugh that followed but he had regretted his words after he had said them in the moment while talking to his family. Still he didn’t regret his decision especially now back with Dana. “I probably could have explained it better but it was the truth, office work is boring and America was for the most part. It was nice to be a tourist for a bit but I’d rather be living here.” It wasn’t just his job or not playing Quidditch that was the tipping point for leaving but rather he missed the friends he had back in Europe and the sense of being home. Dana picked up on the fact that Lars had called her cute and he smiled for a moment with just a small laugh. “You have your moments.” Lars teased as she certainly could be cute when she wanted to or didn’t even meant to.
Dana defended the color pink for a moment in a hushed tone. “Says you,” was his reply in a normal tone, he didn’t mind if someone heard him commented on the interior of the shop. “Oh, well I’ll just tell them I was holding your hand because I was worried of getting lost. That or you were holding my hand so I couldn’t run away from this place.” He explained as possible other reasons, still it didn’t matter what someone would have thought anyway much like it didn’t matter last time it happened either. As they sat down Dana whispered betting which waiter would comment on it and he nodded with a laugh. “I might not even correct him if so, I think his life his hard enough given the pink apron.” Lars teased the excessive amounts of pink one last time.

”Laurentius is still a lovely name.” Dana beamed while Lars pretty much dissed himself. When Lars commented on a planet named after him sounded like a fun place, the return of the blonde’s eye rolls made an appearance. While the Knox knew she had no authority or jurisdiction to name a planet or even a star after her friend/crush, she still found herself saying. ”It’s a deal then. Next discovery will be named after you.”
As her elbow rested on the table, her hand found its way to cover her face, her head shaking lightly as she tried to process his words. ”You most definitely could have started off with that!” The blonde giggled, moving her hand away from her face and resting it on the table. ”I could see your Mum’s face already. She must have been so sad.” While Dana and Lars were close friends, Dana didn’t really have the opportunity to see his parents in comparison to the many times he saw her own. ”Do you ever regret leaving?” The blonde questioned out of curiosity. ”Since even though you said it was boring, it seemed to be rather comfortable.”
”My moments are simply the best.” She retorted. Lars’ teases were something Dana was used to after speaking to the elder Slytherin for the first time all those years ago, but there were times for herself when she believed them to be potentially true and not a simple joke.
The blonde couldn’t help but let out another giggle. In terms of her top ten favourite colours, pink was rather high on the list so the Knox refused to hear any slander towards the colour. ”And what of it?” She retorted, sly grin resting comfortably on her lips. While it was true that the Tea Shop somewhat…overused, she didn’t want Lars to know that she was kind of getting tired of it. ”More like, I was worried about you getting lost.” She remarked with a grin. When Lars teased about the waiter’s appearance with the pink apron, she swatted his hand lightly, mumbling: ”Oh stop it.”, noticing that the exact same waiter was coming over to serve them.

Dana claimed that his full name was still a lovely name and he scoffed for a second. “You try having to spell that on every paper you have to ever write or sign.” Lars joked back as he didn’t completely hate his name but he was envious as a kid at the students who had shorter and easier to say names for the professors. It ended up being a joke a number of times. Dana said that her next discovery would be named after him and he just laughed for a moment. It didn’t take an expert to realize she must have been kidding. “Make it a decent planet, lots of moons and rings. Or just get them to rename Saturn.” He continued their back and forth a bit more as it just seemed to get increasingly more silly. At least it would appear Dana got some enjoyment from how Lars had explained how he was returning to England. He couldn’t blame her and she was right, he could have done much better at explaining to his parents. She said his mother must have been sad to hear he was leaving. “They were more upset at first, said I wasn’t giving America a chance. At least my mom did, my father I think understood but didn’t openly agree. Probably annoy my mother more if he had.” Lars explained as his family calmed down after some time past, he would always be there for them when needed. Lars just wanted to return to what he considered home. “No, I don’t regret it. I haven’t even been back a couple months and I’ve already got an amazing job and I’ve run into you again. I’d rather be in Europe, besides I can always go visit my family when I get lonely.” Lars didn’t want to think about ever regretting his decision. This was what he wanted and he couldn’t see himself regretting coming home.
Dana asked what of it about the color pink he had mentioned just moments ago and Lars laughed. “Oh nothing. I just think they could have saved some of the color pink for the rest of the world instead of trying to fit it all in one tea shop.” Lars said with a laugh while they sat and waited for someone to come around and take their order. Dana explained that she could just say she was more worried he would get lost. “That's a fair assumption, I have been gone for awhile.” While he nodded, granted the tea shop didn’t actually move but they were both just being silly for a moment. Dana said stop it and while that meant he would probably have kept going just a bit more he also noticed the waiter aiming closer to their table.
Once the waiter arrived he looked toward the both of him with his little pad of paper. “And what can I get for such a cute couple today, something to drink first?” As he kept looking back and forth to the both of them. Lars just smirked for a second as he figured this would happen, “I’ll just have some tea, what about you dear?” Lars’ smirk still remained as he asked Dana. He kept up with the act just for fun as he figured this would happen.

Snorting, Dana found herself raising a brow. Surely enough and by all means fairness, Laurentius was an incredibly longname to write and repeat. But...It had no match for the Knox's double barreled last name. "And you don't think I suffer?" She questioned with teasing narrowed eyes. "'Woods-Knox' becomes a pain to write all the time." But with a soft smile taking over her expression, she couldn't help but laugh. "Why would I rename Saturn for you?" The blonde began, trying to sound like she was being mean. "When I could name my first discovery of a planet on you?"
Nodding in understatement, Dana's lips pressed together as she tried to gather her words without sounding just a tad bit...mean. "Do you though? Think you gave it a chance?" The blonde questioned, knowing Lars was the kind of person to put all his passion into the things he enjoyed - rather than try to fake anything. It was something that Dana was used to, especially during their times as Slytherin students, when he showed her the ropes and all. "Well that's good then! No one should have regrets in their life." Ironically enough, Dana had many. Including her secret crush on the Hutton.
Again, she felt tempted to lightly swat at his hand, but instead held back - sighing and rolling her eyes instead. "Not every place can have your favourite colour." She laughed. "Quite a while..." The blonde mumbled to herself, her smile trying to fight for its spot but instead replaced with a small frown. But with the waiter in the bright pink apron approaching them closer and closer, Dana's hands clasped together, her stomach ready for all the tasty things the Knox planned to eat. But when Lars decided to tease around even further, especially around the waiter who referred to the two as a couple, pale eyes looked up at the waiter, ready to dot at his small pad. ”Anything my honey gets, I’ll get. Tea for me as well!” She declared, grinning widely for all the obvious reasons. ”Could you bring some extra sugar? Nothing would ever be as sweet as he is.” Dana knew she was enjoying this just a tad too much, but it was a moment filled with laughter.

Lars laughed for a moment as Dana suggested she had suffered like he had with an annoying name. She did have a point as she had two last names after all but his first name was still longer than both her last names. “Well we can Knox on woods that you’ll marry someone with a shorter last name.” He teased for a second using both her last names in the joke. “Unless you plan on just adding to the last names. Woods-Knox-something. It could be a family tradition, just keep piling on to the last name with each marriage.” Now that would be hilarious two see five or six generations from now. “Hey, as long as it’s a nice planet I’ll take it. I’ll just assume whatever planet or star you name after me will be how you really feel.” Lars joked once more, he really didn’t need or want anything named after him but at this point the joke wouldn’t stop and he didn’t mind it. Unless Dana actually did name it after him. Dana asked if he was sure that he gave America a chance and Lars thought for a moment. It was an interesting question as he thought he had but he could probably have tried harder in some way. “Eh.” He let out with a shrug before continuing on. “I feel like I had but either way, I’m happier back here.” Lars was fine with how things were, he was where he thought he belonged and he was happy with just that fact at the moment. He nodded in agreement as Dana explained no one should live with regrets, it didn’t sound like a fun way for someone to live to him even if in general you were bound to have a couple in life.
He laughed a little as Dana commented on the color as well, stating not every place could be his favorite color. “Well they could try at least.” He replied after which Dana muttered in agreement that he had been gone for sometime. “Yeah but you’ve been doing fine without me. A professional astronomer and everything. I couldn’t just let my siblings get on in the new land with out a little help.” He replied in a friendly manner even if it was his attempt to explain why he had to go. Lars hated leaving like he did, with very little time for goodbyes but there just wasn’t the right time for it. Lars held back his laughter the best he could as Dana joined in on acting like they were a couple to the waiter. It wasn’t like the waiter would actually know what was going on anyway. “Now my dear, we both know you’re the sweet one here. Why, when ever they offer us desert I just ask why? I have you.” Lars added on to their act even more as the waiter just seemed to deal with it saying he would be back with their tea. “I imagine that poor soul as to put up with stuff like this all the time.” Lars said finally laughing.

One thing Dana absolutely hated about Lars was his terrible puns. And so when he hit her with said terrible pun, the blonde’s lips pressed together for a few moments before she snorted out in laughter. ”I hate you.” She teased, rolling her eyes. ”I refuse to add onto my name any longer. For the sake of my potential future children, I’m taking my husband’s name.” She reassured, pushing her blonde curls back. Any last name longer than two hyphened names should be illegal. At least in the Knox’s opinion. ”Not that you’ve mentioned it, I feel like you should get a horrible planet. One filled with craters everywhere. Or completely red just like Mars.” With a giggle, Dana found herself raising a brow in response. ”How I feel? What do you mean?”
Dana nodded slowly, glad that Lars didn’t regret all the choices he made. The blonde knew Lars tended to stick to things he enjoyed, or change things that didn’t suit his interests. Just like most people truthfully. ”That’s good to hear at least.” She said, smiling. ”England welcomes you back with wide arms. Even if you betrayed us for a bit.” Dana was truly teasing, considering she was half-American herself. Although, it had been a pretty long time since the Knox had been over to the States.
”Why would a place filled with pink try to incorporate green in it?” She questioned, raising a questioning brow. ”That is if green is still is your favourite colour.” Smiling to herself, she breathed out. ”I guess so.” He was right, she managed to pick herself up after the tragedies that struck her family and still did impressively well. Even going as far as working in her dream line of employment. Being an astronomer was both interesting and boring combined - with research projects taking up her time and the analysation of how magic could be incorporated being the boring side of it all.
But when both of their attentions diverted to the waiter, Dana bit on her bottom lip, holding back a threatening laugh - one of her hands moving to rest under her chin, holding her up. ”Oh my sweet, you’re being too…Sweet!” She giggled, covering her mouth with her hands as she blushed. Dana truly wished the redness on her cheeks was just for show, but she truly couldn’t hold it in any longer. With the waiter disappearing, the Knox giggled until she responded, her hand resting on her forehead as she managed to giggle up a headache. ”I feel bad for them all, t-they probably get tons of couples just like that.”

Lars laughed for a moment as Dana claimed she hated him and he knew why she would say that. Lars knew he made awful puns at times but that was the fun in it. They were meant to be bad unless he thought of a good one for a change. “Well it’s a shame you’ll be seeing more of me since I’m back.” Lars replied jokingly as he didn’t want to imagine a world where his best friend actually hated him. “Let’s just hope your future husband doesn’t have an even longer name than you do, unless that’s a deal breaker immediately.” Lars jokes as Dana explained she wouldn’t be adding to her last name, which he couldn’t blame her. He laughed as Dana explained he should probably get an awful planet named after me before asking what he meant about how she felt. “Well if your opinion of me is good I’ll get a good but it seems you already made up your mind.” Dana teased Lars assumed about England welcoming him back even if he had betrayed it for a bit. “Ouch, that one really hurts.” Lars replies laughing, “we’ll just tell England it was a very extended American vacation.” Lars added jokingly.
“Because green is obviously the superior colour.” Lars replied as Dana responded to his commented about the excessive amounts of pink in the cafe. She asked if green was still his favorite colour anyway and he nodded. “Somethings never change.” Dana replied that she guessed he was right about doing just fine without him. “I don’t think there is any guessing about it. Not everyone gets be what they wanted back in school. Hey, you can show me all your favorite stars sometime or something Ms. Professional astronomer.”
“Possibly but I can never be as sweet and lovely as you my dear.” Lars said continuing the show as best as she could but it was hard to not notice Dana was hiding the fact she wanted to laugh probably as much as he did. The waiter finally left to get their drinks and they were free to laugh. Dana claimed she felt bad that the waiter probably had to hear that all the time. “If you’d like to give him something new we could have a break up fight. I doubt those happen in places like this. Probably wait till after we eat though.”

Not all puns were exactly bad, Dana Knox knew this. But the puns that Lars was known to make we’re similar to his jokes. Completely lame. But the blonde laughed regardless. ”I wouldn’t say that’s necessarily a bad thing.” She retorted. Dana knew she could never hate the Hutton — even if he had disappeared to the States after graduation but she had missed seeing his face. She missed his whole presence, the tips he used to give to her for Quidditch and the comforting he provided to her when her father and sister died. She missed it all. ”I hope not.” She responded, in relation to her future husband. Though Dana didn’t see herself getting married, especially with how her parents marriage went before her father’s death. ”Maybe I’ll one day find a nice one but name is after myself. And its moon after you.” She giggled.
Green wasn’t exactly Dana’s favourite colour, more so a deep pink colour, blue, purple and then green. ”In your dreams it is.” She retorted. Aside from his ageing, nothing about him really changed. He was still the same green-loving, lame jokes kind of guy. ”I’m glad you haven’t changed at all.” She told him, holding her smile. ”Well, Mr Upcoming Quidditch star, If you’re not too busy with anything I can always take you to where I’m stationed. Just on the outskirts of Diagon Alley.” She told him. Back at work when there were no projects to handle, watching the stars and observing the planets in their observatory was one of her favourite things to do. ”Or, we could always experience the Muggle way down in Greenwich. They have the Royal Observatory there.”
With their lovey-dovey jokes coming to an end, Dana knew she wouldn’t stop snickering or quietly giggling anytime soon. She ultimately felt bad for their waiter and the rest of them, who had to deal with people like that probably on a regular basis. Relaxing in her seat, she listened in, interested in his offer. ”A couple supposedly filled with love with one another breaking up on the same day? Let’s do it.” She grinned, but nodded in agreement to wait until after their food. Their waiter soon returned, with two of their teas and a small plate filled with sugar cubes. Dana loved putting more than needed, especially with her sweet tooth. She thanked the waiter and took her tea into her hands, spoon stirring in the small cubes she dropped inside. ”Tell me more about Quidditch. Have you met your team mates yet?” It had been a while since she had played the sport, and boy did she miss it.

Lars laughed as Dana claimed seeing more of him wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. Which was the answer he figured she would say and he had hoped for. “Oh how I’m honored to be not that bad of a thing to be around.” Lars teased jokingly with a royal like accent. It was all just in fun anyway. Dana explained that she might name a planet after herself but he would get to be the moon. “I’m sure it would be a lovely planet. It’s nice and warm and everyone looks up everynight at their moon ,Lars. Some would say it’s the real star in the sky.” He laughed once more not really thinking she would name a planet after herself. Mostly because he just couldn’t imagine planets with people names.
“And how would you know what I’ve been dreaming?” He teased for a second while they talked about colors and which ones were better. “This is why we could never share a room, one wall would be pink and the other would be green,” He added. Dana commented saying she was glad he hadn’t changed and Lars nodded. She proceeded to say that when he wasn’t busy she could take him to her work for look at the stars or the muggle observatory. “Both sound perfectly fine with me, if you’re okay with me asking you the name of every single one?” He asked partly kidding. “Either way next time I’m free let’s do it, it’s a date.”
“I’m sure it might be a first for this place, hard to imagine anyone takes someone here to break up with them.” Lars laughed as this place hadn’t probably ever seen an argument in its life. The many couples probably wouldn’t like it either, which made the idea even better. After they got their drinks Dana asked him about Quidditch and his team. “Yeah, we’ve had a few practices so far. They all seem like pretty good guys. Why? You want me to try and get one of them kicked off the team so you can come back to Quidditch?” Lars laughed after that knowing he was just kidding. “We never did play at the same time so it might be interesting."

LARS’ ATTEMPT AT an accent only drew Dana Knox to the brink of tears. He hadn’t changed, in the best of ways - similar to Vik, always finding ridiculous ways to draw some form of laughter out of the blonde. Picking up on the teasing game, Dana curtsied, fingers pinching together as if she grasped her invisible hoop skirt. ”Well Sir Hutton. It’s my pleasure to welcome your not-so-badness home.” But the act was met with the Knox’s eye roll, especially at his next comment. ”The planet is important. Moon’s…Just orbit the planet. So yeah, it’s totally the real star in the sky.” She laughed, knowing that her planet would be the main attraction, the one thing the rest of her colleagues would be interested in, while she analysed the moon a little further.
”Oh I don’t. But from the way you phrased that, I’m guessing it’s maybe all you dreamed of.” Dana bit her lip to hold back her embarrassment, hoping her cheeks didn’t flush red as they usually would. ”There’s nothing wrong with that! I just think you’re scared to admit I’d be a great roommate. Even if I had pink walls.” Holed up in her family home was the only life Dana was used to living, she hadn’t exactly had a ‘roommate’ considering her Mother skipped town just a few months back, when the eldest Knox truly settled in to the real working world. ”Every single one is too much to ask. Maybe every other third one.” She added as a joke. ”Just owl me and…It’s a date.” She smiled.
The thought of being broken up with in a place like the Tea Shop only filled her mind with wonder. Dana had…some experience however, with a minor relationship she had, ending in a fancy place the two chose for dinner. It didn’t really break the blonde’s heart, since her mind and heart were elsewhere, something her former flame discovered. ”Hey! You offered to step down for me, don’t make me feel even more guilty.” She pouted. ”Maybe we could have an unofficial game. Then play together.”

Lars laughed as Dana continued on with his joke welcoming his not so bad self home to Europe once more. “That’s the warmest welcome I’ve gotten so far.” Lars joked but it was partly true, mostly because not many people knew that he had returned to Europe. He had been too busy getting his life in order with a place to stay and a living. Dana commented on his explanation of her planet and his moon. “Sounds like you’re trying to make my moon sound unimportant. That really hurts the feelings of my moon which doesn’t exist yet. You’re so hurtful sometimes.” Lars joked with her while they kept walking down the alley.
“No, it’s more I’m dreaming of the day you come to your senses and realize pink isn’t actually all that great.” Lars teased for a moment as he really didn’t mind that it was her favorite color or the color it’s self. It mostly just gave the two something to playfully argue about and that was always fun in itself. He laughed once more as Dana said he just didn’t want to admit she would be a good roommate. “That or I’m just worried how girly everything would turn overnight.” He teased for a moment as having Dana as a roommate wouldn’t have been the worst thing in the world. Dana claimed that asking about every star or planet would be too much and possibly limit it. “Fine, I’ll reserve it to just the interesting looking ones. But for sure I’ll owl you sometime, sounds like fun.”
She Told him not to make her feel guilty about his stepping down to let her be the Slytherin Quidditch seeker. “Yeah but how could I not step down? You were so small and cute trying to understand and getting excited about learning to play as a seeker.” Lars teased for a moment before taking a drink. Dana said an unofficial game might be fun and Lars nodded. “It would, we can see if you got rusty from looking up at the sky all day instead of being in it.”

GRINNING, DANA WAS SOMEWHAT GLAD to be the one of the first, (or potentially the first) out of many people to welcome Lars back home. His travels and then off-the-radar behaviour only stirred worry in Dana just a few months back, but she had missed him and his god awful jokes. Not to mention, it was also one of the many reasons she had a terrible crush on him. Though, his puns would always be disastrous. ”I only provide the best to the very best.” She said, joking her way through her compliment. With a shrug, the corners of her lips turned upwards. ”And so?” She retorted, brow raised as she teased him. ”Since I’ll be the one to discover it, doesn’t that mean my planet has the advantage here? It’ll actually be more important?”
Rolling her eyes, Dana knew the day wouldn’t come. Green, blue and black were all superior colours, but when something so cutesy like pink existed…The existence of the other three was unworthy to even note. ”It would barely turn girly! I would accept your presence you know.” She added onto his point. In fairness, her own home was a mix of dark appliances, the only pink within her surroundings were just simple towels. ”Great.”
The only words she took to mind from his teases were ‘small’ and ‘cute’, a flush of red rose to her face as he did so, considering he hadn’t actually admitted she was cute before. Clearing her throat, the blonde’s index finger pulled at her shirt, so she had some room to breathe easier. ”Only because you taught me everything I know…How couldn’t I be excited?” She then stirred her drink with the spoon, narrowing her eyes in his direction. ”Fine. I bet at least twenty-no, forty Galleons I’ll get the Golden snitch before you.”
