Lars just laughed for a moment as Dana said she only provided the best for the best. Implying that’s what he was. “Well now you’re just trying to flatter me Ms. Woods-Knox.” Lars teased for a moment as either way he was just happy to run into a friend and especially Dana. Dana explained that since she would be the one to discover it that of course the planet named after her would be more important than his moon. “You have a point but you could still have played along, my moon had a pride which you are damaging now with your hurtful words.”
“Great, if I ever need a roommate and you’re bored with where you’re staying we can give it shoot. See how long it takes to annoy one of us out of the apartment.” He joked as he didn’t actually need a roommate nor did he imagine Dana would need to leave where she was staying anytime soon. Dana said it would be great when he explained to writing her for a tour of the astronomy she worked and Lars just nodded, it would be fun either because of the place or for the person giving the tour.
Dana said she couldn't help but be excited for being a seeker during her time at school as he had been the one teaching her. “So you’re saying it’s my fault because I was such a good teacher. I guess I’ll just have to accept responsibility then.” Lars joked, as much as he was excited for Quidditch and the role he knew only some of that was passed on possibly to Dana. She truly enjoyed the sport as well even if he wasn’t her calling in life. “Big spender over here, fine forty it is but also the loser has to either admit pink is the superior color or say it sucks. Depending on who wins of course.”

EVEN THOUGH SHE HAD IMPLIED he was the best, deep down, Dana knew he was the best person. ”Flattery is my speciality.” She said, grinning. Flattery in fact was no where near Dana’s strong point in reality, unless she was completely drunk. Or on the verge of getting there. She was a nervous wreck amongst most people, shielding it with a mask of confidence. She wondered if that was the reason why many in the Astronomy firm enjoyed Dana as a member or Team Leader for the project. ”Your moon doesn’t even know we’re talking about it.” She countered, raising a finger. ”It simply hasn’t been discovered yet. But once it is, we’ll love it unconditionally, regardless of who it’s owner is.”
Dana laughed along with him, knowing that if the two shard any space together, it would either be peaceful or chaotic. ”Knowing you, you’d run me out of our own home with your disastrous puns. Seriously, how could you feel confident when saying any of them?” She asked in a teasing tone. Dana enjoyed the space she was in now, it was quiet, her mother never around to see the bundle of dust building up and Noah was in the hospital after all. If Dana didn’t know any magic, she was sure she would’ve given up on cleaning it. ”There you go, I’m glad you reached this conclusion.” She joked, smile only growing wider. Lars was a great teacher back when Dana’s interest in Quidditch was sky high. Now she only watched a few odd games with the local teams. Appleby Arrows were doing exceptionally well, but now with Lars on the enemy team, she knew she would have to shift her interest elsewhere.
The bet was something silly drawn between them but at Lars’ addition, Dana’s lips parted, dropping open to form an ‘O’ in surprise. ”You’ve got yourself a deal.” Her hand extended then, lips curving to the side in a sly smile. Dana knew she wouldn’t lose this game…this time anyway.
DANA END? @lars & can end it there or with your response!
