Fin hadn't been to Club Indigo for a bit of time, actually and was looking forward to seeing the old stomping grounds again. It was easier, now, not to think of Desirae every time he was there. Well, at least not dwell on thoughts of her. He was just happy to be there, surrounded by familiar faces in a place that he recognized and that recognized him. Speaking of, as he moved toward the bar he saw magenta hair and his eyes narrowed. He thought it was that girl he had met the last time he was around, but was pretty sure the last time he had seen her... her hair was blue. Sadly, her name was escaping him at the moment, which was embarrassing. People changed hair colors though, right? So it probably was her. He kept moving forward, and then she turned around. It was! He gave her a wave, "well, if it isn't my old drinking buddy," he greeted, finding a home in the bar stool next to her. "Your hair. It's all pink and stuff."@rivune

She countered with a comment about the length of his hair, and he smirked a little. Then she implied he was 'old' and he let out a small chuckle. Man, she was entertaining. "Okay, okay. Fair points on all fronts," he said, giving her a nod of respect. She turned to face him then, and Fin raised a casual eyebrow at her as she took a sip of her drink. She said she had been waiting ten days to gloat and his eyebrow raised a little higher, "gloat about what?" he asked. She congratulated him on not being dead and he laughed a little, his usual low laugh. "Not dead, just got a girlfriend. So similar?" he joked. @rivune

Trixie agreed that he was basically 'six feet under', and seemed to laugh/choke on her drink. Fin chuckled a little, too. "Well, if I am then let me stay buried. It's nice and warm there," he admitted, which was a joking sort of way of telling her that he was very happy. It was hard sometimes, of course, being the fact that Jess was a muggleborn and he was part of Elaines crowd and all... but that information wasn't worth sharing, It was dangerous, for one, and unimportant to others, for two. It took Finley a moment to figure out what she was talking about with the whole 'curtain' thing, but then it clicked. He grinned, reaching a hand over to clap her once on the back. "Well damn, I'll have to let the decorator know the curtains aren't good enough if you could open them," he winked, bringing his hand back to his drink. "I mean, tear them down," he adjusted. "And have you done anything exciting since then? I can't deny I'm glad."@rivune

She said the decorator could be warned, but it was the architect who really needed the low down. Finley chuckled at the addition off too many windows. "Fair, it'd be better to not have any windows at all," he agreed. But then she was serious, saying he needed to go easy on the back. He raised both eyebrows and brought both hands back to the bar. He waved over the bartender who didn't even ask what he wanted, just brought his usual, which Fin was okay with. "Hey, take your time," Fin suggested as she said she hadn't done anything exciting yet. "Sounds like you've got a lot of power in the health world," he teased. @rivune

She giggled and he couldn't help but smile at her. His normal gentle smile, not a massive grin or anything. She was charming and he always thought it best to let charming people know that they'd charmed you. Desirae was a good person to practice that with.
She spoke about how healers held a lot of power, and how the ethics kept the balance. He chuckled, shaking his head a little as he took to nursing his drink instead of responding to that. It wasn't an issue anyway, since she kept going about how the ethics were 'dogmatic'. He nodded once in thanks as she said he'd be safe in her hands, not speaking further on the subject. He may have been a part of a sadistic group, but he didn't care to get too... wordy about it all.
She asked about him and he shrugged, "nothing as thrilling as being a healer. The Oblivation department is the same as usual," he explained, unsure if she knew that he worked there. "I have plans to go to Ireland this winter break for a short visit," he added. "You ever been there?"
