It was another Hogsmeade weekend for Hogwarts students, so naturally Louis made a beeline for Zonko’s Joke Shop. His uncle George had told him at one point he and Fred (his twin, not his son) had wanted to purchase Zonko’s as an extension for Weasley Wizarding Wheezes, but had come to some sort of agreement with the owners, and had decided against it. So while Louis’ loyalty lay squarely with his uncles’ business, he still visited Zonko’s on occasion when he ran low on certain items. Of course, being a Prefect he had to be careful - luckily his cousin Hugo was the Head Boy, and he had a way of...turning a blind eye to Louis’ antics, just so long as they weren’t completely destructive. Louis was elbowing his way to the cash register when he saw a flash of blonde hair out of the corner of his eye. It wasn’t the golden blonde of his ex’s hair, but the white blonde of another girl very familiar to him. Paying for his items quickly, he made his way towards the girl, smiling widely as he recognized who it was. “Vic! What brings you here?” he asked, wrapping one arm around her in a quick hug. It was always good to see Victoire of course, but she didn’t typically frequent Hogsmeade unless she had a reason. She also hadn’t let Louis know she was coming, so he couldn’t be the only reason she was here. @victoire

Victoire was scouting Hogsmeade for Heliopath business. Her and Domoinque had discussed starting to get student members into the group. Sure. they were hesitant about getting kids involved, but Elaine had people at Hogwarts, didn't she? At least, that's what they assumed. Plus, it wasn't like they'd be recruiting eleven year olds. No, but hey needed the older kids on their side. The seventh and sixth years. Those who could keep an eye on things at Hogwarts AND keep each other safe. The only question was, how do you possibly recruit a teenager into a war without the support of their parents? That was just the thing. Vic had to start with family. She actually hadn't realized it was a Hogsmeade weekend this week, and was meeting one of her contacts at Zonkos to discuss goings on around the village. One of the people who worked the shop was a friend, and she has asked them to keep an eye on things close to Hogwarts. But, she didn't quite make it to her meeting because her brother was suddenly there, around around her. She smiled, "Lou," she greeted softly, leaning over to plant a half-joking kiss on his cheek. "Just meeting some friends. Didn't know it was a Hogsmeade weekend!" she admitted. "They can wait. Want to walk?"@louis

Louis rolled his eyes good naturedly. “Didn’t know it was a Hogsmeade weekend? Come on Vic, you should know these weekends by heart so you can make sure you get some quality time in with your favorite baby bro,” he joked, elbowing her gingerly in the side. She still looked quite thin, thinner than Louis would like. Still, she looked happier and healthier than she had in months, so he’d take the win. “A walk with you?” Lou stroked his chin thoughtfully, pretending to think. “Always,” he finally said, grinning and looping an arm around his sisters slim waist. They walked out of Zonkos’ together, no true destination in mind. The weather was pretty mild for November, the ever present threat of rain hanging in the clouds above them. “So...there’s a rumor going around that Teddy’s applied for a professor's position here at Hogwarts?” Louis threw out there casually, sneaking a peak over at his sister for any reaction. Vic and Teddy were no longer together, but Lou know that their years of history wouldn’t put them out of touch for long. He was curious if there was any truth to the rumor, and now that Vic happened to be here, maybe he could get an answer out of her. @victoire

At his comment about her memorizing the Hogsmeade weekends she laughed. That actually was something a past version of herself might have done. But things were different now. "Of course, of course. I post a list on my mirror," she suggested. He agreed to a walk, after pretending to think about it. She narrowed her eyes at him for a moment but then wrapped an arm around his shoulder when he took her waist. "Great."They started to walk, and Lou asked about Teddy's Professor gig. Vic nodded, "Dueling Professor. I think it'd be just brilliant at it," she suggested, really not showing any emotion at all. Her and Teddy were fine. Not dating, but fine. "I think he was always happiest at Hogwarts. Or at Harry and Ginnys," she added. @louis

Louis nodded with a smirk. “As you should, you wouldn’t want to miss out seeing your favorite brother,” he joked, nudging her gently with his shoulder. They walked out of the shop and down the cobblestone streets of Hogsmeade, peering through the windows of shops to see if Louis recognized anyone in there. Victoire seemed a bit distracted, but he didn’t mind - she had a LOT on her mind these days with Uncle Harry still missing. “I wish I could have enrolled in the class - I would have if I knew he was teaching!” Louis moaned, scratching the back of his head. His NEWT coursework was lighter than some of his more ambitious classmates, but with his Prefect duties it was still a lot. Still, he’d like to have a few more dueling skills under his belt before graduating Hogwarts. “Most of us are happiest at Hogwarts. Me, I’m happiest at Shell Cottage in the summer,” he told her cheerfully. “What about you, where are you happiest?” he asked, curiosity getting the better of him. @victoire

He was right about her not wanting to miss out on seeing her brother. "Now, the real question is; who is your favorite sister? Don't answer," she teased, nudging his shoulder back with her own. She knew Dom was entirely much more loveable than she was. Dom was always there for people and never put her career first. Granted, she didn't have a career. They were also closer in age, which made Doma much more easily accessible sister.
He said he would have enrolled in the class if he knew Teddy was teaching and she frowned slightly, "youre not? That's too bad. I mean, you know Teddy - I'm sure he'd give you some lessons on the side if you wanted. Plus there's dueling club. And there's me," him bringing up wanting to duel was sort of the perfect segway into her main reason for seeking him out. But she'd hold off a bit longer.
He said most were happy at Hogwarts, but he was happy at the cottage in the summer. He asked where she was happiest and she was a little surprised at what came to her mind. Being in the Ministers office, whether as assistant, advisor, or whatever. She shrugged, "I suppose I'm happiest at the cottage too. If you're there," she scrunched her nose at him teasingly. SHe should have been more honest and serious with her brother but, admittedly, sometimes it was difficult for her to be truly real with her siblings. Maybe because of years of repressed words due to trying to protect them. She cleard her throat, "I suppose I'm happiest when fighting for what's right," she added.
