Today was one of those days where Vik was on a mission. No, he wasn't on a job, didn't have anyone depending on him to do a specific something-or-other. Rather, he sent himself on a mission to find that girl from the other day. Sunny. He ran into her at Club Indigo and they had the best time. She was definitely the kind of person that he liked doing things with, and she was good at disappearing, which a quality he appreciated. She'd left only a small business card, but he took special care not to lose it. After all, before they had fun, they'd talked about him potentially helping her. Vik loved finding new people to do jobs for. Which was why he found himself at the realty office addressed on the card. He walked in the door, looking around the clean lobby and walking up to a receptionist. "Hi, I'm looking for Sunny," he told her confidently, pretending like he knew what he was talking about. More often than not, that helped things go smoothly. The woman said she'd be right back and left the room. Vik glanced around curiously as he waited, choosing not to sit. Elaine Lyra Dupree

Elaine had thoroughly enjoyed her evening with Viktor, both at Club Indigo and at his place afterwards. It had been pleasurable for both parties, and Elaine had found a potential source in obtaining some very ancient artifacts that she was keenly interested in finding. She had left him Sunny’s business card, not expecting him to show up anytime soon, but was always on alert for him to appear. So when he did, Sunny had immediately gone to the back office where Elaine was without letting him see her. She told Elaine who was out there, and had handed over a few strands of her hair without fuss. It was interesting, having someone so willing to follow and assist her with this particular need.
Moments later, Elaine left the back room as Sunny, who had jabbered on about a ton of paperwork she needed to do to close the sale of the bank to their holdings. Smoothing down her skirt, she got to the front and smiled widely as she saw Viktor. “Viktor! My, my what a pleasant surprise,” she trilled, leaning in to kiss both of his cheeks. “To what do I owe the pleasure of your company?” she asked, a coy smile playing at her lips. Hopefully he had something to tell her about other than what a great night they had had together, though she wouldn’t mind the compliment.

Vik couldn't help but smile when he saw the familiar blonde walking towards him, smiling as she approached. "Sunny," he greeted with a smile of his own, returning the familiar greeting. Man, he loved doing things with people like her. Even business was fun when it was with someone who was easygoing. All too often he got stuck working for people who were serious and stone-faced. Boring. He shrugged at her question, "Well, it felt like the other day you were suggesting you might have some work opportunities for me, so I thought I'd stop by to see," A smirk grew on his face as he continued, "but I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't hoping to see you again, after the other night." He winked at her, feeling confident. They had a great time together and she obviously wasn't trying to hide from him, so he felt like that made it easier for him to flirt with her. Elaine Lyra Dupree

Elaine giggled girlishly, marveling at the man's bravado. The night had been most pleasant, she'd certainly agree with that, but he wasn't the best she'd ever had. No, that honor went to someone else entirely. But Viktor didn't need to know that. "We did have quite a fun time, didn't we?" she purred, tracing a finger down his jacketed arm. Today however, would be strictly business, at least at first. "You have perfect timing, I was just about to step out to lunch," she said, taking her coat off the hook and putting it on. She smiled, putting a hand on his arm. "It's how we seal all our deals here at Refined Holdings," she said with a wink of her own. "So, do you prefer Japanese or Indian food?" she asked as they stepped out of the office and into the bright, cold sunshine.

Yeah, Vik was definitely glad he made his way here today. Sunny's flirty attitude and bright smile made him look forward to whatever business they'd discuss. Even if it couldn't be as fun as the other night, it would still be worth it. He nodded at her question, feeling like he didn't quite need to say anything about it. His smile widened when she mentioned his good timing and suggested lunch. "Sounds perfect," he agreed, extending his arm right before walking out of the building with her. "Oh? So we'll be sealing a deal?" he teased. He actually hoped they would. He would love to have another job to do. He shrugged at her question. "I ... think I'm more in the mood for Indian today, but I like both. Do you have a place in mind?" Elaine Lyra Dupree

Elaine smiled as Viktor made the choice to go for Indian food. “I knew I liked you,” she said flirtatiously, tracing a circle around his bicep before tucking her hand firmly in the crook of his elbow. “Oh we’ve already sealed one deal,” she stated teasingly, nudging his shoulder with hers. “But yes, I am hoping that we can come to an arrangement today that will be beneficial to the both of us.” Her tone took a brisk, business tone that she used when she needed to make a deal.
They walked into the restaurant and were immediately seated thanks to the real Sunny overhearing Viktor’s choice and making a quick reservation with the host. She opened her menu, and smiled at Viktor. “So, today I actually am looking for a place that we’d be able to store a certain...artifact. It’s very important that this place is secure so that nothing happens to it - it’s both valuable and dangerous.” She made a zipping gesture with her fingers. “That’s all I can say I’m afraid, my clients value the utmost privacy,” she added, the client of course being herself.

She seemed pleased when he chose Indian food and Vik smiled down at Sunny as she drew herself closer to him. He actually chuckled when she teased him about sealing one deal. Well, she definitely wasn't wrong about that. "I'm sure we'll be able to figure something out," he agreed when she started to get serious about the whole thing. Honestly, he hadn't ever run into someone he couldn't help, so he'd have to see if she was pleased with his work. It'd be a shame if she was the first one he disappointed. Getting a seat at the restaurant didn't take longer than a moment and before he knew what was going on, he was looking at a menu. It all looked so good, he wasn't entirely sure what he wanted yet. She started talking before he made his decision, but Vik lowered his menu, giving Sunny his full attention. His eyebrows lifted as she explained that she wasn't looking for an item, but a place in which to store it. Vik's eyes narrowed as he thought. "There are a few places that come to mind. Do you know if your client would prefer somewhere in town or somewhere more remote?" he asked. Vik wanted to make sure he could give her what she wanted, after all. He nodded slowly when she mentioned that her client wanted privacy. That was fine, he wouldn't push her on that. Elaine Lyra Dupree

Elaine thought for a moment. Both options had their pluses and minuses, but for what she was going to be storing there, the choice was obvious. “Somewhere in town, but keep that remote location on the backburner as I am quite sure that would intrigue my client as well,” she said with a smile. Yes, that little batch of miscreants had destroyed her old safehouse in town, but fortunately she had abandoned it the week prior. She didn’t think they’d be stupid enough to try an attack in town again, with the damage it could do to surrounding (likely Muggle) neighborhoods, so in her opinion this was the best option. Besides, if her plan to infiltrate Azkaban worked, she’d have need of the remote place later on, and give her an excuse to see this delectable piece of meat again.
“When do you think we can see the option? I know they want to move forward as quickly as possible?” Elaine asked, leaning forward and looking at Viktor with big eyes. She leaned back as they were served their food, but her gaze never left his. She wanted to get this property before anyone else got a chance to hear about it, so she knew she’d have to act fast.

Vik nodded as she mentioned that her client wanted something in town for now, but might want something remote eventually. "I think I have a place that might be right." He didn't know anything about her client, but it seemed like Sunny wanted something people wouldn't really notice much and he knew a little house that had been for sale for a long time with no buyers. It was repossessed by some bank and was now going to super cheap, not that he thought money would be an issue for Sunny's client. "It is a little worn down. Would that be an issue?" Basically, does her client want a nice house or will anything work? He wasn't entirely sure. He shrugged, "I could show you today if you want. It wouldn't be "official" since the place is owned by a bank, but I can definitely show you around, as well as anyone else that wants to come along." Vik wasn't sure if her client would want to come, but he'd keep the options open. Besides, spending more time with Sunny could only be a good thing. She was fun, and beautiful. Elaine Lyra Dupree

Elaine shook her head when Viktor mentioned the place he had in mind was run down. “Not in the least, my client enjoys getting their hands dirty,” she said with a smile. He really had no idea just how dirty, which greatly amused her. The amount of blood and gore on Elaines’ hands was numerous, and she wasn’t about to stop now. No, there was work to be done, and more blood would be spilled both innocent and otherwise.
Elaine dabbed her lips daintily and with a flick of her wrist the waiter came with the check. “I do believe today is perfect. My client will want the deal to be quick and smooth,” she said, paying the bill without even looking at the figures. It didn’t matter of course, Elaine had plenty of money to spend. She was an only child and her parents certainly weren’t spending it anytime soon. She stood up, and held out her hand to Vik. “Shall we?” she asked, smiling down at him.

Vik nodded, pleased when she said that her client didn't mind a dirty place. That was good, because Vik was mostly just knowledgeable about the old, dirty places. "Then I think I have a place they might be interested in. It's been repossessed by the bank and is very cheap." Might as well tell her what he knew about it. She'd find out sooner or later. She wanted to see it today and Vik smiled. He didn't mind showing her anything. He liked being around Sunny. She was fun and easy to talk to, even when they were talking about business instead of fun. "I think that will be easy to arrange," he answered. Then she was ready to go. He took her hand, leading her outside. "Would you prefer a cab or for me to take you there?" he asked. Some people didn't like apparating, so he figured he might as well ask her. Elaine Lyra Dupree

Elaine smiled and batted her eyelashes at Vik. “Oh I’d much rather you take me there Viktor,” she purred, sliding her arm into the crook of his elbow. “Ready when you are,” she said cheerfully, as they walked to a secluded area before Apparating.
Upon arrival, Elaine looked up at the property Vik had brought her to. He hadn’t been joking about it being old and dirty; it looked like it hadn’t been lived in for quite some time now. That didn’t matter; a little elbow grease from one of her slaves would get the place back in working order easily. “Where should we start our little tour?” she asked Vik, still not letting go of his arm. With his assistance, Elaine could easily purchase this place for a steal of a price; though she had plenty of money, Elaine had a shrewd nature when it came to spending. She’d rather save her Galleons for when it mattered, like what she was planning on storing here once the purchase was complete.

Sunny said she would rather Vik take her there and he smiled, leading her to a nearby alley before apparating with her. He looked around himself, proud of the place. It wasn't very well taken care of, but it was private and he didn't think it would take too much work to make it a decent place again, which wouldn't be hard with the use of magic. He nodded when she asked where they should start the tour. "How about at the front?" he asked with a smile, leading her to the front of the house. With a flick of his fingers, he unlocked the door (being able to use magic without a wand was one of those things he'd practiced a lot during his year among the muggles). "Ladies first," he held the door open for her and smiled. The house was small, but there were two stories and Vik led her through quickly, showing the dining area, kitchen, the three bedrooms and one bathroom. They ended up just where they'd started. "So, what do you think?" his expression was expectant as he stood by the door and looked at her. Elaine Lyra Dupree

Elaine smiled as Vik led her in through the front of the house. “Why thank you sir,” she said with a laugh as she stepped through the doorway. The house was small but functional, and it wasn’t as if she’d be using it all too much anyway. She could get Anise in here to do some cleaning and small projects, and Aloysius with his hulking muscles to do more of the heavy work. The location was unbeatable, and the price even better.
She turned to face Vik as he asked her what she thought. He was so adorable when he was pretending not to be so expectant, she thought to herself. She gave him a few moments of silence as she pretended to mull it over, letting him sweat a little bit. “It’s wonderful, but does it have a basement?” she asked curiously. A basement or cellar of any sort had not been a part of this short tour, and that would be a major bonus for her with her plans for the house.

Despite himself, Vik was a bit impressed. Sunny wasn't as easy to read as most people. She looked at the house as he showed her around a bit, but her face remained impassive and he was so curious to hear what she thought. It was a good thing he had to deal with people like this semi-frequently. He was at least used to not getting all his answers right away. His eyebrows furrowed a little at her question. "Ummm, I'm not entirely sure about that. Let's go see." If there was a basement, there would probably be a staircase or something from the kitchen that lead down. From his experience, that was how houses like this worked. Walking into the kitchen, he spied a door on the other side. Smiling at Sunny, he made his way over to the other side of the room and opened the door, smirking when he saw that he was right. "Looks like this leads to a basement. Do you want to see it? I'm not sure how clean it is ..." After all, selling houses wasn't really what Vik normally did, but after today he was thinking that he'd be pretty darn good at it. Elaine Lyra Dupree
