Anna walked out of the tent and Lucy startled a little. Anna asked if she found anything and she cleared her throat. “I don’t know. Nothing important, I don’t think.” A part of Lucy wanted to look through the journal before she told Anna about it, what it there was something that Anna didn’t need to see? Something that would make matters worse? Lucy didn’t feel any particular way about lying to her sister, Lucy had lied plenty to Anna in the past, but they were all lies to protect her. Lucy shoved the journal to the bottom of the trunk. She’d flip through it after Anna went to bed. If there was no signs of a suicide note or anything, Lucy would leave it there for Anna to find later. She closed the lid on the trunk again to prevent more snow from getting in and stood up as Anna sat down. Anna suggested that they leave and Lucy nodded, “I think we should. It’s starting to snow pretty hard…” she agreed.
Then Lucy heard the whisper, the desperte, low whisper. Her sister called for her, holding something little in her hand. Lucy walked over and looked at the wedding band which she knew belonged to her brother in law. Lucy didn’t know Oscar all that well, but she knew that he wouldn’t have taken off his wedding band. He loved Anna and was proud of their marriage. “Okay, we need to go now…” Lucy said, trying not to say anything else. They had found what they came for. Lucy knew that Anna wasn’t going to make it much longer and she wanted to get Anna back into a closed room. Anna didn’t respond and Lucy didn’t blame her. She was sure that her twin had fully checked out. Lucy gathered the trunk and the rucksack from inside the tent and after a bit of work, stuffed them into her bag, which had an extension charm on it. She pulled her sister in her arms and apperated the pair back to the room in Prais.

Almost like she were speaking from somewhere far away, Anna heard her sister's voice. Anna didn't know what it was. She really wasn't paying attention anymore. Oscar's wedding band was lying here in the snow, next to a fire pit. He wouldn't have left it here. He loved her. Anna was certain of that. She couldn't think about why it would be here unless something happened to him. Something bad, and considering the fact that he hadn't found a way to communicate with her in the past few weeks, he was probably gone.
She partly noticed the change of venue when Lucy apparated, but not really. All she felt was the softness of a mattress and Anna fell back into it, rolling onto her side as he tears started coming, Oscar's wedding ring clutched in his fist. He was gone and now she didn't know what to do. She didn't care.

They made it back to the hotel room and Lucy got Anna onto her bed to rest. The night passed by silently, and Lucy tried to sleep too, but she woke up often to check on Anna and make sure that she was still breathing and alright. The next morning, she gathered everything into her bag and tossed it over her shoulder. She knew it was going to be hard getting Anna back to England, but she could do it. She kept Anna close to her as they made their way to the train station, once on the train, it was easy. And once they got to London and got off the train, Lucy was able to apparate them back to the flat, where, she once again, got Anna in bed. First thing the next morning, she would call a healer, or take her to the hospital. She was sure that someone with medical experience needed to take a look at her.
