It had occurred to Jamie, probably more times than it should have, that there were people that she could have seen during her self-imposed exile to the Muggle world. There were wizards who frequented the Muggle world, even wizards who were more at home there than the wizarding world. There was a wizard she knew who practically lived and breathed Muggle, by virtue of his bloodline and upbringing. It was, after all, difficult to be a Muggle knight in line for the Muggle throne of England and not be intimately familiar with the affairs of the Muggle world. Jamie had considered a hundred times what it would be like to talk to someone who would maybe understand where she was coming from and what she was going through.
At the end of the day, though, Jamie hadn't wanted to burden Will, especially given their relationship was... well, Jamie didn't know the word for it. She would freely admit that she probably hadn't done as much to stomp out the flame that had ignited inside her when they had met at the Yule Ball a year ago as she should've, but even then... she didn't know. She didn't know where she stood, or where he stood, and there was a certain thrill in the freefall. But today wasn't about any of that, as much as it was occupying Jamie's brain. She was slowly emerging from hibernation, and Will, whatever he was to her, was important. She wanted to see him, so she had asked to meet him - simple as that.
