Dec. 2024 An annual snowball fight. What a weird idea. He went last year though, so he may as well check it out this year. He didn't like getting pelted with the things but he didn't mind pelting other people - shocker there. The fight was in full swing when he saw her which caused him to stop and pause. That pause caused a snowball to smack him right in the face. He shouted in surprise and pain, blinking the snow water out of his eyes. His hand flew to his cheek and he held the other hand up in surrender, "I'm out," he grumbled, moving toward her. Diana. @diana

@dominic
Diana had been walking swiftly down the streets of Hogmseade, staying clear of the snowball fight going on. It was a massive event, with many participants. Her path kept her mostly clear of the feuding snowball war, but at times she was forced to walk along side it. Though she was pelted once or twice by a rogue snowball, she kept moving. That is, until she spotted a familiar dark haired young man in the fray. She saw him stop, and the snowball nail him in the face. Only that seemed to make her move again. Not towards him, but back on her path. She was heading towards a part of the village not decorated for the festival, or participating in any way.
Diana stopped once more when she spotted Dominic leave the snowball fight and head in her direction. ”Why’d you stop?” she asked softly instead of greeting.

When he reached her, she just asked why he had stopped. Her voice was... flat, different. He shrugged a little, "wanted to see you, I guess. Haven't seen you," he explained. Sure, he was a purifier too but he was at school lately and she was only god knows where. He found his blood starting to boil at the thought of that, at the thought that they hadn't been close anymore and that he cared about her and that she didn't make an effort. Then again, neither had she. "So, where the hell have you been?" he knew she was somewhere doing something for Elaine, but he wasn't necessarily elite enough in the group to get all the dirty little details. @diana
