"Is she... Did she seem... I don't even know," he wanted to ask a question to make some sense of Victoire but he wasn't sure what to say or how to even phrase it. "I should probably just talk to her myself," he gave in with a sigh. He didn't want everyone and their dog to know that he was back but it wasn't his fault he had such a big family. He had married into it. Well, he was a part of the Weasley family long before he married Ginny... Plus his friends were his family too, so really his list of people he wanted to talk to was massive. Parvati inquired as to what he'd been doing, his findings, and he pursed his lips a little - brow furrowing. "I'm not... After everything that's happened I just don't know where to start," he reached forward and placed a hand on her arm, "I'll explain when I can. I need to put some pieces together," he promised, his voice soft. "I should get back to Hermione, really. I just... It'll all come out. And we'll be prepared," he hoped. parvati patil macmillan

“Is she… Did she seem… I don't even know,” began Harry, who, from the context, must have been talking about Victoire and not his wife. “I should probably just talk to her myself,” he sighed, and Parvati thought that it was probably best that he should be the one to do it. As much as she hated to think so, Parvati wondered if Victoire would even believe anyone else if they told her that Harry was back. Unless they all wanted even more of a disagreement on their hands, she felt that it would have to come from him.
As for those ‘findings’ he’d mentioned, Harry continued to stumble over his words. “After everything that's happened,” he told her, “I just don't know where to start.” He had no shortage of things to take in, and it didn’t make it any better that the Order wasn’t the Order anymore. He touched her arm, as if to signal that he wasn’t just making things up to satisfy her curiosity. “I’ll explain when I can,” he said. “I need to put some pieces together. I should get back, really. I just… It’ll all come out. And we’ll be prepared.”
Whatever was happening, Parvati knew that she had to trust him. Whatever Harry had found and whatever he still needed to piece together, there must have been some answers there. She nodded sincerely. “Whenever you’ve figured it out, Harry…” If anyone could bring everyone back onto the same page, he could. “Just say the word. Some bloody row won’t change that.”

She said that whenever he figured it out he could just say the word and the fight between Victoire and everyone else wouldn't change anything. He wasn't sure he believed that, the girl was stubborn, but he wanted to hope that they could all work together when the real trials began. He nodded, standing. "we'll speak more soon, once I talk to Ginny. Hermione is expecting me... thank you so much for coming by," his voice was filled with emotion and he knew he'd never get over seeing all his old friends again. The hardest thing about looking into their eyes was knowing he had abandoned them with no explaination. Also, it was hard to see the faces of the very people he was trying to protect because he knew what these witch hunters could do and if they got to his friends... maybe it would have been better if he had let them kill him before any of that happened. He swallowed hard and shook his head, "you're welcome to stay and warm up before heading home. I'll talk to you soon," he promised again. parvati patil macmillan (wrap it up? they cuties D,

Harry sounded truly appreciative of having had that conversation with her, which made Parvati feel good while also knowing that she would never be able to understand what he had been through. It was a difficult situation; they all had changed so much from their teenage years, though Harry said that Hermione was expecting him. Parvati nodded her head; Hermione would want to see him, certainly, and she wasn't about to cut into the Minister's time with him.
He shook his head and told her that she was welcome to stay and warm up before heading home, and he said he'd talk to her soon. While Parvati appreciated Harry's offer to stick around, she wouldn't intrude; she probably needed to get going, too, and the benefit of Apparition was that she wouldn't have to worry about being out in the cold for too long.
"Thanks, Harry," she smiled, "but I should go now. Take care, alright? I'll see you."
